Well EST is Eastern Standard Time, which normally delegates the entire east coast, including new york. Is NY in 2 different time zones or something? but yeah.
No, but there are 2 EST's so yeah. Damn, the game starts on 20:00 for me.
Oh god, first pathfinder session and it was a TPK. We tried to ambush four bandits that were showing up to the trading post we were in, I'm waiting by the gate to shut it after they're in so they wouldn't run off and alert their buddies during the fight, I ask the DM if a I need a stealth check as they come in, says nope, they've got no chance of seeing me since I'm well hidden. Our dwarf warrior bursts out of the building he's supposed to be hiding in way too god damn early (which was actually well roleplayed but didn't really help), so I try to make for the gate a shut it without being spotted, rolled a 1, roll for initiative, rolled a 1. Surprise round, bard gets the toughest looking bandit and one other with lullaby disguised as a bad joke, cleric and dwarf warrior move up, I roll a 3 firing my crossbow at them. First Round, cleric and dorf move up and attack, miss everything, cleric gets hit with an AoO. I reload and fire again and hit this time, bard says "Your bolts are as hilarious as my puns. He's absolutely clutching his sides!", starts casting a sleep spell, fumbles it since he takes an arrow to the gut, stops making jokes. One bandit crits the dorf and he goes down in one hit, cleric gets mangled by the next two guys and ends up on 1hp. Then we all rage quit :v:

I hope the DM allows you guys to redo that session because wat.
Yeah, we'll be playing again, we might change our characters or just redo that fight, because the dicebot thoroughly molested us in that fight, going to try to talk him into using rolz or something instead.
Does anybody need someone for a pathfinder campaign? I'm at GMT+4 and I've only had a little bit of experience but I'd like to learn. [editline]28th April 2012[/editline] Or maybe even WoD?
Yeah, we'll be playing again, we might change our characters or just redo that fight, because the dicebot thoroughly molested us in that fight, going to try to talk him into using rolz or something instead.
god no anything but rolz. The malevolent side of the Dice Gods is directly infused with that god forsaken site. Use OpenRPG.
god no anything but rolz. The malevolent side of the Dice Gods is directly infused with that god forsaken site. Use OpenRPG.
rolz is better than the skype dicebot we were using.
Nothing is better than real dice.
rolz is better than the skype dicebot we were using.
I... I've never died during the first fight before... let alone the first round of combat!
I... I've never died during the first fight before... let alone the first round of combat!
One time, i made a character that was specifically tailored to die very quickly, he had only 2 hit points and 9 AC, and yet he still survived for four sessions.

I'm trying to see how long a good guy can last in a world of darkness.

Not gonna work when you face Sabbat/a shotgun.
Funnily enough, my Lasombra crossdressing chick didn't kill her.
Not exactly the best thing to do when undercover, blowing someone's face off right in front of people.
Not exactly the best thing to do when undercover, blowing someone's face off right in front of people.
That too. Especially when coming off as a Camarilla agent.
Anyone have any slots open for an additional player? It's summer soon and I'm looking for a decent game to hop in to as a player alongside my weekly Dark Heresy sessions. I'm not too picky about what game or system it uses, just with the caveat that it's something fun and with good company.
I'm starting out with DnD 4e, making a group with some friends, and I was wondering, how many players is too many players?
Six is the general cap on a group. Any more than that and it just takes too damn long to do ANYTHING, especially if the general experience of the group is low. Example: Combat will go on for an hour+ when you only go for a couple rounds.
When people are talking over each other constantly and combat takes forever.
4 to 5 is the optimal ammount of people, 3 is playable, 2 is hard to play with and you will probably need babysitters, 6 is playable but very hard to keep track of and every encounter will be a bit annoying, anything more is asking for trouble.
Welp. We uh, we have thirteen.
Welp. We uh, we have thirteen.
I don't even see how you could see that working out well.
I don't even see how you could see that working out well.
Well, I've never played DnD before, and neither has anyone in the group I've made. We're mostly feeling around in the dark. I'm going to try either whittling down the amount of people, or doing multiple squads with short rounds, or alternating between a team each week
Split it into two groups.
Will do. Thanks!
Split it into two groups.
It'd probably be a good idea to have another person dm the other group as well unless Tacosheller has a lot of free time.
Split it into two groups.
have the final boss of both campaigns be the other party
Man we really need at the least a 5th dude, because so far our team is this: HellSoldier: Some Ranger-type dude. Gleb: Tank and DPS to the fucking MAX. Crede: Healer and utility mage. Me: Psionic/Rogue.
Magnus: King of Style
i've always wanted to play D&D, is there a good website with a tutorial to get started with? or possibly someone who could show me the ropes personally?
