Aight, actually setting up an CRAB TRUCKERs campaign. http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Crab_Truckers
By the way, EU only. Also, campaign info: You're a motherfucking crab. You drive trucks through a desert. Lobsters want to kill you.
Can i play a lobster?
Can i play a lobster?
Afcourse you can. It's the Lobster League versus the Crab Confederation.
Had my first game of Changeling: The Lost. Court kerfuffles with the player characters poking their noses in because they are the player characters. I didn't and couldn't do much.
The party in my game just killed Hitler.
He was sitting on his throne and I hit him with a lightning bolt. I electric chair'd Der Fuhrer
Why don't you have any spells like cloudkill or other similar spells. Would have been apropriate to gas him.
They are often the ones behind stories of alien abductions (although those are usually fabricated details about real disappearances), and some look like 'The Greys', yes. One story does tell of "lights in the sky".
So the idea is this: 1)Intentionally lower clarity 2)Become True Fae 3)Offer other palyers a domain to stay in and be safe in, then abuse this power to help them kill off the rest of the True Fae. Or if you want to fuck shit up, replace step 3 with "kill every other player" :v:
If anyone decides to stop playing with my group when we continue to play after my exams then I'll hit you up.
Shortyish is the shit and I'd be glad to have him with us

These Dark Heresy games are just getting more and more insane as we go. We have in the party: - An overly-emotional tech-priest who cried last session when he was insulted by a superior - A fairly sane yet vindictive psyker who plays pranks on the cleric - A Cleric who is completely nuts, picks up illegal drugs on a regular basis, and knows almost nothing about the emperor or his people - Another psyker who is essentially Christopher Walken in a suit and tie, accent included - An assassin who plays the straight man to all this and just watches in quiet horror So far they have left little but ashes and confusion in their wake. Often confusion more than anything else.
At a Goblin Market in Changeling: The Lost, contemplating setting some slaves free and claiming to not have "stolen" anything.
Holy shit people still talk in this thread... but not about D&D evidently? Anyone look over the 5e playtest rules? Personally? They're a joke and tons of people are angry at them.
I'm going to wait until it's released before i judge them.
I'm going to wait until it's released until i judge them.
Yeah, you don't entirely base your opinion of a video game from a leaked test build, so I don't know why you would with a tabletop.
Started a thread without doing a good search for this one first, so I'll ask my questions here. I recently played D&D for the first time a couple days ago, and I'm wanting to play more of it. Where might I find a place online to play some good D&D? Would it be possible to set up a Skype game? Edit: Also, what's a good place for finding player miniatures?
Look at Virtual Tabletops if you want to play online. They range from chatrooms with basic features, to full blown virtual maps with figures, fog of war, and a mound of other features. It depends on your play style.

I don't use virtual maps, which for some people is a big no-no, because I always found them to be more trouble than they're worth and a bitch to customize.

I have only played once though, so I would probably need a few tips on getting started, especially since I haven't even made my own character and used a pre-made one my first time.
You know that feeling when you plan for a week with your fellow party members behind the DM's back and it all goes to plan? Oh, god, there is no better feeling. This is the first time I've heard "YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD" from the DM when he figured out that my gaffes were actually part of my plan though, which is nice.
Been more than a week since I've had a non-D&D session.
Got invited by a friend to play D&D at his place sometime. Just have to wait until their next session.
Guys, I'm working on a new system named 2d10. I'm struggling on making it a class-less system, with skills that you need to upgrade, to class system, that fits less with the basics i've laid down. Rate useful for classless, informative for class

two nights ago i played a newly written Keith Baker original. he was going to dm it, but he was busy, so he was writing it as we moved through the adventure

God I haven't played an actual game in forever. I was supposed to run a Rogue Trader game, but that fell apart when nobody in the group had the same days off of work. I sort of want to play a game with some of you guys, but I dunno.
