I want to try Call of Cthulhu, seems very fun and challenging.
Anyone willing to play with me and the dark tendrils of reality?
Add me on steam if you do.
Oh and please, real RPing, through text and not through web-cam.
Any groups looking for a player? Used to be in Hjort's group but due to time zone differences I ended up leaving because half the time I ended up sleeping past their session.
Timezone is EST if anyone's wondering.
There's always an under-abundance of GMs making finding a group nearly impossible.
And finding one that's actually good is even worse.

A lot of people are afraid of "Forever GM".
So 5e right guys?
Writing my own adventures and stuff like that is hard. I guess after playing some published adventures with my group ill be able to add my own stuff in.
Been playing 3.5e a lot and I was wondering, anyone in the middle of Dark Heresy that would be cool with another dude
Don't suppose there are any groups with space for me to join?
Well, kinda wandered in here, but a while back, me and some Fallout fans played the Fallout PNP RPG over steam chat, and I want to GM again over steam. Three possible campaigns, New Vegas, The Windy City, and Aloha Smoothskin (Hawaii). If you want basic details on any, just ask, each will have unique weapons, enemy variants, and stories.
[editline]30th July 2012[/editline]
By unique weapons, I'll explain. In the campaigns, each will have special, themed weapons, in New Vegas, you might find a 'Lawmaker' revolver, or in the Windy City, you may find a Chicago Typewriter (Tommy Gun variant), or in Aloha Smoothskin, a ceremonial obsidian sword from a group of tribal Ghouls (With poison from local fauna available). Enemies would be just as varied, all you'd expect from Fallout New Vegas, Gangsters in Chicago, Tribals in Hawaii (Well, different tribes will be neutral, good, or evil, but piss a good one off, and you may end up as a volcano sacrifice anyways.)
I've been really wanting to try this but I know little to nothing about it. I'm about to go read up on it, but I was wondering if there is a group that would like to ease me in.
i treid to play te game one time but couldnt do it so i didnt play it

It's common for people to sit in on other's sessions not to play, but to simply observe. If you can't find a group to play with I'm sure there would be a group to look in on.
If not, Penny Arcade has(had?) a regular podcast where they play D&D that is pretty funny and maybe even educational for someone who hasn't played.
http://www.wizards.com/dnd/podcasts.aspx
Also, they've done D&D games live during their PAX event that is quite good.

If not Penny Arcade, there's Spoony's Pathfinder games where you can see one of the tabletop programs used for many different games. Spoony is not as professional as the Penny Arcade guys so it might not be as good, but I haven't seen it so to each their own.

I could teach and GM for my Fallout PNP session, I usually make a character for myself too, half to teach new players, half to make sure things are fun for the players. I also handle all the rolls and such too, if I get enough interest going, I'll post the rules and a character generator, but I don't want anyone to set themself up yet, depending on which campaign is chosen, you'll have a different amounts of bottlecaps to spend on weapons, armor, and ammo. Been adding more unique elements to each campaign, in New Vegas, expect motorcycles, classier cars in the Windy City, and sports cars and boats in Aloha Smoothskin. (Even if you aren't a Fallout fan, you can catch up with the lore from the PNP.)
Nobody happens to have a DnD or some other game in a fantasy setting with a free player slot?

I'd love to play, if you'll have me. What programs do I need to download to make this work? Also Do I need to make a backstory and stuff like it seems most people have, or do I wait until the game starts and make it up there?

Well, i usually try not to play in adapted settings, but i think Fallout might work pretty well as long as we don't play in one of the locations used in the videogames.
So yeah, i'm in.

I have a character sheet generator saved somewhere, but I'll try to find the actual download link, since I am on my netbook, the main computer is busy, and that's where I saved it.

Exactly, I only put New Vegas in as a choice because I thought someone might be interested, but we'll wait till I get a few more players to vote.
I tried to play that Fallout PnP before, but I ditched it after two sessions since out of the three other players one was all HURR, ME STRONG AND DUMB, BUT NAIVE (badly), another just went on about how depressed his character was about formerly being a slaver (badly) and the other just mentioned how big her character's boobs were (freakishly large, bigger than her head) at every opportunity.
But yeah, kind of off track, I'd be interested.
After recently getting back into new vegas, i would love to involved in a fallout dnd thing. that's like two cravings with one game!

I will encourage character development, what I want to do is something I've done before. Each person writes a bio about their character, and then I use that to set up a unique quest that will reward the party, and give something special for the character involved.

It is quite fun, and I've added modified weapons, vehicles, and enemies.

I call dibs on being the party ghoul, prewar stunt driver maybe? Give him maxed out luck :v:
And, here's a link to a .rar file with the rulebook (give it a quick check), and the character sheet generator (don't do this yet, till the campaign is picked.)

And, my merge has been raped.
no explosives skill 0/10 do not play

Explosives is traps renamed, although there's also throwing.
Also might be interested in Fallout PnP if you're still open for another player.
Oh my god there is no Fatman this is a travesty who the hell made this.

Oh.
So no silly micro nuke launchers?
Damn, that sucks man.
Although the super soaker acid sprayer kind of makes up for it.
Made a steam group for it, and I'm going to make a tribal character for my own, bow and arrow, with brass knuckles. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ifyougiveadumbassagun

I think it was made before Fallout 3 but I'm just guessing...
