Got to have huge ass bags of assorted dice.
Got to have huge ass bags of assorted dice.
Would a bag of about 100 assorted dice suffice? :v:
If you're making a store I'd say don't bother, the competition is fierce and the market is Nietzsche.

Hmm, now I'm imagining some sort of Mafia-run casino-like place where instead of gangster with whores constantly draped over them playing poker or blackjack, they're playing Magic: the Gathering or D&D.

First DM (and Pen and Paper RPG for that matter) experience went... well. I forgot pretty much all of the Illumination campaign for Dark Heresy, so I ended up having only a thin wire to follow (basically where they went, from dropship to city to wastes) and Aristarchus (being the main NPC). The rest, dialogues included I had to come up with on the spot (I was scared of leaving the game suspended for too long if I had to read up the manual). One guy had quite some technical problems so we didn't get far tonight, but apparently the DM'ing was great (however it was everyone's first time too, so yeah they don't have much to compare to).
Playin' some Pathfinder tonight in the default Campaign Setting. Half-Elf Magus. Here we go.
Playin' some Pathfinder tonight in the default Campaign Setting. Half-Elf Magus. Playing a cleric though instead of a ranger like I usually do. Only other time I've played a cleric was in AD&D. So that's something new.

Roll two six sided die?
A friend of mine is heading back to his far-off university at the end of summer, and I was wondering what tools there are for online playing? Does everyone have to be using these tools, or would 4 people be playing in person and he could be on his laptop? It would be for 4e, if that helps.

http://www.roll-dice-online.com/ etc etc etc. So you could have everyone playing in the room, a computer/laptop with skype on, and him on the other end. He woudn't be there in person, but given that both sides had a webcam, it'd be pretty much the same. Just really sad/depressing.
what is 6 side die where can i get one
Any boardgame ever and yahtzee.

Why do people call it die and not dice?
Die is plural, dice is singular.
Die is plural, dice is singular.
It's actually the other way around.
I blame the school system
Why do people call it die and not dice?
-snip-
Why do people call it die and not dice?
It's part of the Satanist indoctrination RPGs, particularly D&D, have incoded in them. You'll be making blood sacrifices and drawing pentagrams within a week now.
How is the transition from 3.5e to pathfinder? 3.5e is all I know.
It's actually really easy. If you're familiar with 3.5e then you'll only have to make a few changes for Pathfinder but they're changes that, imo, feel like they're good changes such as how they redid the skill system. They consolidated a few skills such as move silently and hide into stealth and spot/search/listen into perception. They also redid how skill caps work. At level 1 you get your normal amount of skill points rather than what you'd normally get at level up times four. Then you have a max rank equal to your hit dice and that goes for cross class skills as well which also no longer cost two skill points for one rank. Trained class skills that you have at least one rank in get a +3 bonus to make up for these changes. It seems to work really well from what I've seen so far and makes skills simpler to deal with. That's just the big noticeable change for me that I really like. They also reworked some of the classes for balance, added a bunch of new feats in the base book, and just generally balanced the game a lot better.
I really liked what they've done. It just feels better than 3.5 and 4th. Not to create an edition war or so now, seriously not my intention. So therefor can we create a pathfinder group or is there any right now? Because I'm craving :v:. I have this really cool character idea I want to try, it's mostly because I want to role-play that character. The problem I have is that I usually munchkin a lot or power game, but now I have found a character idea that I think is so cool that I don't even want to power game or munchkin. Not sure how interested you guys are in it, so I'll just keep it to myself so I don't bore anyone.
I'd be interested in playing pathfinder.
Damn I want to play Changeling: the Lost some more, but my ST has been absent for ages ACTING (Dramatic hand wave)!
