When this Shadowrun campaign is over I might do one, could be pretty fun.
I have looked elsewhere before so I may find something before you finish Shadowrun. Also I do like my games with serious aspect to them, not the "Golden-Age" narm charm in some superhero stories. I'm a big roleplayer at my core which is why I went to great lengths to rerail my character in Fallout PnP who became a walking sex joke due to my sloppy roleplaying.
Mutants and Masterminds 3rd edition.
Color me interested.
Well it's not like I discourage roleplaying or anything, sometimes batshit insane things happen though.
When people punch a hole in the universe like Superboy Prime and Brick?
When people punch a hole in the universe like Superboy Prime and Brick?
I don't think i'm at quite those levels of batshit insane. Yet.
Anyone here ever played a Diceless RPG?
Anyone here ever played a Diceless RPG?
Diceless? What is this sorcery?
Anyone here ever played a Diceless RPG?
Yes, twice. I prefer using dice.
Thanks for accepting me into your Shadowrun session, Fippe. Even with a sickness I still had a really great time and all you guys that participated were fucking awesome.
If anyone is playing GURPS anytime soon, would they mind letting me listen in or something? I want to see how the average session goes. Also, other podcasts or actual play video/audio of GURPS would be appreciated.
In a strange way, this is actually true, all I really did was get shot, and I did that quite well i'd say.
I even told you exactly how not to get shot and you still pulled it off, that's dedication.
Finished a 4 session Call of Cthulhu campaign. I was the keeper for three players, took place in the modern day, mostly in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. All told, the players "took care of" a haunted house, prevented some Mi-go from summoning Ithaqua and destroying a village, angered and almost banished Hypnos, God of Dreams and ended up seriously pissing off Nyarlathotep. During their penultimate battle, one player critically failed a grapple, tripped and knocked himself unconscious, thus losing the fight. Once they saw Nyarlathotep's beast form, the Sanity rolls got brutal. One player ended up with -23 SAN, that character is now lost forever. One of them lost 60% of his SAN at once and began violently hallucinate. I think it ended quite nicely!

How hard is it for a DM to actually pull it off, and how mature do the players have to be to play it?
Cthulu Mythos and Lovecraftian horror in general doesn't interest me much...
Mutants and Masterminds 3rd edition.
This also interests me

Been reading through the rules for M&M3e, seems like a pretty robust system so far.
Yeah, saturdays at around 20 GMT would work fine for me. [editline]14th September 2012[/editline] mah automerge

(good ones)
if you are actually going to do it then sign me up too.
Well, I have the time to do it, and nothing better to use it on, and it seems like a pretty fun system.
There will be a hard limit on how long could play for on Saturdays since my Fallout PnP group plays at 2am GMT Sunday, which is Saturday for most of the players. Also I don't have the M&M books.

Allright, anyone who wants to get in on the M&M game, hit me up on steam. Im thinking we'll start at power level 8, to allow for some amount of character development. It will be a near future setting, i'm allowing pretty much any kind of character, just run it by me first. Pretty much the only thing I won't allow under any circumstances is time travel, if you want to be from a different time period, you could instead come from a different dimension or have been frozen Captain America style, as long as there's no time travel i'm probably cool with whatever you can make up. In other news, Mutants and Masterminds is confusing as fuck.
I finally got to play a round of Pathfinder over the summer with a group of friends and it was incredible but short lived. Does anyone have a pathfinder game going or willing to start that I could hop into? I think I would also be interested in some sort of futuristic version like Shadowrun, but I don't know how complicated those ones are.
