Skeeve?
Umm, everything deal non-lethal damage in M&M unless you say otherwise when attacking or GM house rules.
And oh dear 90's Anti-heroes D:
A bank is collapsing around our heroes. 7 armed dude is outside, so he is unaffected. "Hunneds Hunneds" is unconscious on the floor. That leaves Jordie Hardcore, the playboy superhero extrordinaire, and his personal bodyguard luchador named Jugs to save EVERYONE inside.
Jugs acts by flying out of the building, grabbing Jordie and Hunneds Hunneds, leaving the bank patrons to fend for themselves.
Jordie Hardcore uses his move "Totes Fire Obvi" (A blast of energy akin to a kamehameha) to blast a hole in the roof directly above him, preventing rubble from falling and crushing him. He rolls a natural 1.
When Jugs grabs Jordie around the waist to hoist him up, his Totes Fire doesn't shut off. Thus causing a beam of pure death to not only completely destroy what remaining support the building had, but incinerate anyone the wave passed over. Those that didn't die from Totes Fire were crushed by the bank anyways.
They then spent a full round arguing while the badguys got away. I admit we may not be doing EVERYTHING correct, because as I said, we've never done anything like this before. I'm DM'ing, and I need help with a lotta shit. But as long as we're all having fun doing it, I'm alright.
So I'm looking for a Pathfinder game, I'm up for Fridays and weekends, I'm in a +2 GMT time-zone.
That's... About it. My Shadowrun group ran into problems like bad players not coming on time and GM busy all the time with work.
I'm dming a game with about 3 other players, if you guys are interested we may be able to squeeze you in, probably switching dms around, i'm only dming while we get used to things. Of course, we just finished the first actual mission and these guys are level 2, but i mean, if you guys do join you'll catch up pretty quickly.

Creeper. Perverse weirdo. Nasty fuck.
Take your pick.
So we got into trouble with the city guards again just like in every other campaign we have EVER had, but instead of knocking the guard unconscious and hiding him somewhere our ranger critically hits him with his greatsword doing 30 damage and splattering him all over the harbor that he and our fighter were fighting in.
Also, our ranger is a bounty hunter looking for a wanted man and the fighter he's been killing guards with is the wanted man he's looking for.

I would give them the benefit of the doubt as to how they actually handle the genderswap. They can be funny without getting creepy

Most of my character have an element of a fetish about them...
But then what isn't a kink for me? Other than a manure golem or something.

A manure golem that has a special attack that turns you into faeces or even another manure golem.

Actually, he rolled it on a Cursed Item chart. Can't argue with that. Plus, he is handling it in more of a comedic way. Like the first hint was that he felt 'pretty' and his hair grew out. Oh, and he keeps scratching his junk because it has a very intense itch.

Maybe if you're looking for a very serious game, but mostly people around here aren't.
Got to strike a balance between silly and serious as far as I am concerned, if you go all silly it will burn out quickly, and if you're too serious it will become a bore.
This sounds pretty fine to me as long as it's not something that happens all the time.

That or he dumps the character alone with a bunch of drunken seamen or something.
Damn, well, can't join Jax' group.
Does anyone else run a Pathfinder group?

Europe.
Still looking for Pathfinder group, previous attempt did not work out.
Would prefer said group allow a certain third party class called the Dragonrider.
Quick question. So I can prepare as many spells as I want, I just can't cast them all, right?
I've finally decided I'm going to learn how this game works (3.5 is what I'm going for, I've heard that it's a lot better as proper DnD than 4) and get together anyone I know that wants to try it out. Been wanting to for years now.
Quick question. So I can prepare as many spells as I want, I just can't cast them all, right?
Depends on the system, I'll assume you're using 3.5 or Pathfinder and a Wizard or similar spell-preparation class.
If so, no. You can only cast those which you prepare, but you don't have to prepare them all at once. It can take up to an hour to prepare all the spells you can prepare, but there's a 15 minute minimum last I recall. Ask your GM, they're the final arbiter of all rules.

Yeah. So I can prepare as many as I want, then I can only cast the ones that A. are prepared, and B. fall into the 1/2/3/4 per day limits.
Trying to finish off someone else's ranger before they are due tonight
I've been doing a pathfinder game, and it's gone well so far, even knowing every single person at the table besides me and one other has never played a role-playing game before. First, let's start with the characters in order of frequency of actually being at the gaming sessions:
- The Druid: A CG gnome multi-class druid and bard (???), but mostly druid. Is a useful spellcaster, and actually does stuff in combat. Has a Boon Companion wolf which kicks ass. The player is decent, but occasionally immature. Highest skills are sneak and diplomacy, with fantastic perception.
- The Ranger: A CN extremely useful elven archer/rogue multiclass who does most of the damage in the group. The player was on first impression an immature stoner, but actually ended up being the best player both roleplaying-wise and rollplaying-wise. Highest skills are perception, sneak, and diplomacy, and is the de facto leader of the party in-game.
- The Sorcerer: A CN pure sorcerer who doesn't actually do too much besides the occasional magic missile or random utility spell. Quite useless, but not too bad. The player is slightly autistic and immature, but is usually kept restrained and active in gameplay. Highest skills are unknown. He doesn't really use any, now that I think about it.
- The Barbarian: A CN heavy-hitter half orc who is a full barbarian. Never really uses rage or anything else besides his hammer, but still a decent player. Likely the most immature, but The Ranger keeps him in check. Highest skills are intimidate and acrobatics (???).
- The Paladin: LG A dwarven paladin who is an experienced role-player. She knows her stuff, and her Paladin does a lot of heavy-hitting and various other LG stuff. Keeps the party in line when she's there, but not really there that often anymore. However, she will be active soon. The player is the least mature and she keeps the group in check most of the time, being a typical Lawful Good person in real life and in game. Highest skills are Knowledge (Arcana) and sense motive.
- The Fighter: Human Fighter. Went to one game, never came again. Didn't do much anyways.
Now here's the story up until now. Warning: I have posted a bit of this before, so some of it may be a recap.
Setting is pre-industrial, pre-steampunk. Technology is about to revolutionized by someone named Oliver Evans, and Airships, flintlocks, and steampower are just being created during our player's time in the world. The focus in-game is a transition between the sort of fantisy-renassance age and industrial age, with some magic-hatred and civil wars thrown in the mix.
Anyways, it starts off with our team coming together to an adventurer's guild conveniently on the second story of a tavern (Surprise!). They are told by some eccentric wizard named Willard the Wizard to go clear a couple goblins from a cave. They find another PC in there, kill some goblins, and find some magical orb of darkness. The LG Paladin of the group wants to destroy this orb which stinks of evil, but first they want to get paid. They go over to Willard and he offers to destroy it. He promptly teleports away as soon as he gets his hands on the orb, and everyone is butthurt-mad. To find out more about him, they travel north to the capitol which conveniently hosts the Mage's Collage, which he was a professor in.
Once they get there, they find the Collage burnt to the ground. Turns out that a couple terrorist attacks occurred with magic, and being the straw to break the camel's back, the citizens force the government under threat of mass riots to ban magic, which prompted a razing of all magical artifacts, books, and places of education. Luckily, they meet with some mages who are restarting the collage in secrecy, and get them into the basement of the ruined collage, where Willard's office is. A book within the office sheds light on the orbs and the location of the other, good one, and they find out that Willard is super-powerful with the orb and could possibly open some generic portal of planes to unleash some evil, same old same old. After nearly being imprisoned, they negotiate themselves out of some legal troubles and set north to Boatmurdered.
They get there to find that shit went down there, and survivors built a town around it after sealing it off instead of actually dealing with it. They want the party to go in there and destroy the evil, so they can move back in. The party goes in, finds some minor undead, and beat up some flaming skeletons. Also, they find the orb of light, and find out that it can lead the holder to the sister orb, making the search for Willard a lot easier. They also find out that some horrible evil is down in the mines, causing these undead to rise. Instead of doing anything about it, they block off the mines and tell the citizens they can move right back in! They do so, none the wiser.
They track down Willard the Wizard at a country to the south-east, and find him being a circus performer with knives. While they were playing Civilization 5 with their little town, he accumulated a fanbase, using his orb of evil to make himself a wonderful entertainer. They confront him after the circus, and after a ton of telekinesis + knives and some amazing rolls, they annihilate him without much of a problem.
They take this time to gather a couple more allies at Boatmurdered, and have a couple random tribes and small villages move in near, effectively creating their own city-state of sorts. Now that this has turned into a political simulation, the party needs some engineers to be able to mine stuff, so they go over to the country to the east in search for help.
While traveling, a reoccurring troll who always is in the mountain pass and threatens the party in exchange for food is added to the army because of a crazy natural 20.
Once they get into the country, they find themselves in the middle of a civil war, and they have to move through what seems to be a battle between commies vs. fascists. The current ruling power has made the citizens too upset with their exploitation of the middle class, and the citizens rebel with the help of a mysterious armored figure to revolt under the idea that everyone should be equal.
The players take the current government's side in a hope of a new alliance, and attempt to defend a city from said rebels. They fail after the rebels surprise them with a secondary attack from the back as well as some sleeper agents from within, and they are pushed back to a bunker of sorts which doubled as the only entrance to the main engineering area. After negotiating some rewards for helping take back the city with the head engineer including a relic bow, some armor, and various other small things.
They leave out a secret exit and after gathering a force from Boatmurdered, they come back and take back the city using a combination of trolls with battering rams and a high-level druid friend turning the walls into mud.
However, once they get to the palace in the middle of the city, the king has some strange requests about taking back the palace: Don't touch any artifacts, don't destroy the tower, and don't go inside the dome unless you absolutely have to. The palace is very empty when they get in, and after going int the dome, they find the BBEG, the mysterious armored revolutionary, attempt to fly away on an airship which was up there for testing and emergency usage. BBEG signials some rebels outside the building to activate some powder kegs, which blow up the base of the building.
After some good rolls and near-deaths, they manage to board the airship before the tower collapses beneath them, and they fly off after threatening halfing pilot named Henry the Halfling, who happened to be a head engineer of the engineer's collage who turned rebel. He ran away, and the players were tasked by the head engineer of the city to go find him before they could be rewarded with their kick-ass armor.
However, as promised, the ranger gets his relic bow, which happens to be an intelligent weapon with the mind of an legendary, elf-supremacist military leader named Darias who happens to hate all humans with a passion. Since Darias had a pact with a certain demonic lord, he has a ton of power, but only really uses it when it benefits his alterior motives. This bow gives enough perks to Darias for the ranger to keep it. (This includes bonuses against humans, general damage and attack roll bonuses, and if the ranger does enough favors for Darias, he gets little bonus things like the occasional lightning-strike or flaming arrow)
That's where it ends off, finding Henry the Halfling's secret hideout in the woods. Seeing that Henry was a master engineer, there's going to be plenty of traps in store for the party. I might just have him be a sort of mini-boss battle with some steam-punky technology.
