There's usually a limit on how many spells you can prepare. This is usually the how many spells you can cast for the day.
Of course, if you've prepared spells earlier (but not your limit) and take some time to prepare more, the new limit is how many you have remaining.

I'm DM'ing a group of 13 people soon. I think I'm going to split it in half and run two games sometime after.

Pretty sure you can only prepare as many as fall into the "X level Y spells per day" limits. So if you can cast 4 1st level spells and 4 zero-level spells, you can prepare 4 1st level spells and 4 zero-level spells.

On a more dnd related note first game of pathfinder was pretty decent, I'm playing a dwarf with a camel animal companion.
My camel has one of the highest acrobatic scores of the party.

D&D 3.5, Apocalypse World, d20 Modern, and a bunch of smaller quick ones like Paranoia.

I'm doing a pathfinder game (similar to 3.5) with a few other FPers get at me on steam and we'll get shit sorted. Pretty sure we're all in the US and typically start around 6 or 7 EST (-5). Although we play sporadically as some of us have work/class and shit.

It's the only system that I can remember off the top of my head.
Ofcourse there's plenty of games that aren't made for exactly that but could easily be used for it, like GURPS, D20 Modern and so on.
