Yeah. So I can prepare as many as I want, then I can only cast the ones that A. are prepared, and B. fall into the 1/2/3/4 per day limits. Trying to finish off someone else's ranger before they are due tonight
There's usually a limit on how many spells you can prepare. This is usually the how many spells you can cast for the day. Of course, if you've prepared spells earlier (but not your limit) and take some time to prepare more, the new limit is how many you have remaining.
oh okay So I prepared a bit too many then. Oh well.
I'm DM'ing a group of 13 people soon. I think I'm going to split it in half and run two games sometime after.

So if you can cast 4 1st level spells and 4 zero-level spells, you can prepare 4 1st level spells and 4 zero-level spells. So anyone here played GURPS before? What are your thoughts on it? On a more dnd related note first game of pathfinder was pretty decent, I'm playing a dwarf with a camel animal companion. My camel has one of the highest acrobatic scores of the party.
This thread terrifies me.
This thread terrifies me.
If this thread is enough to terrify you, then don't go near Black Crusade. You'd get a heart attack.
I've joined a Pathfinder game, it's going well so far, I think. I'll post any interesting stories.
This thread terrifies me.
Wuss.
I've finally decided I'm going to learn how this game works (3.5 is what I'm going for, I've heard that it's a lot better as proper DnD than 4) and get together anyone I know that wants to try it out. Been wanting to for years now.
If you didnt live in australia I'd pull you into mine.
I've joined a Pathfinder game, it's going well so far, I think. I'll post any interesting stories.
Can I join?!
This thread terrifies me.
Be glad nobody posted anything about FATAL. Actually, someone post that FATAL review, seeing people's reactions to that is always hilarious.
All you really need to know about FATAL
All you really need to know about FATAL
Naaah, knowing that its creators SERIOUSLY thought that it is an accurate historical RPG, and defended it to death on some forums is something you also should know about.
If you didnt live in australia I'd pull you into mine.
Sure when and how and where?
My friends are having me DM 4 games at the same time. D&D 3.5, Apocalypse World, d20 Modern, and a bunch of smaller quick ones like Paranoia. I wish they'd stick with one :/
Sure when and how and where?
I'm doing a pathfinder game (similar to 3.5) with a few other FPers get at me on steam and we'll get shit sorted. Pretty sure we're all in the US and typically start around 6 or 7 EST (-5). Although we play sporadically as some of us have work/class and shit.
If this thread is enough to terrify you, then don't go near Black Crusade. You'd get a heart attack.
No, I can play any game, excluding FATAL and Ironclaw. But this thread is descending into That Guy Incorperated.
What kinds of spy RPGs are there?
What kinds of spy RPGs are there?
Spycraft?
Spycraft?
Just the one?
Just the one?
It's the only system that I can remember off the top of my head. Ofcourse there's plenty of games that aren't made for exactly that but could easily be used for it, like GURPS, D20 Modern and so on.
I've always wanted to try GURPS...
Nothing is stopping you. Except the fact that pretty much nobody plays it, and finding a group will probably end up being hard as fuck.
Nothing is stopping you. Except the fact that pretty much nobody plays it, and finding a group will probably end up being hard as fuck.
And I'm already in 2 games and waiting on a 3rd. I only allow myself 3 games at a time.
And I'm already in 2 games and waiting on a 3rd. I only allow myself 3 games at a time.
Two games is too much already, stahp.
Two games is too much already, stahp.
For GMs but players don't neccessarily need as much pre-planning and preparation.
For GMs but players don't neccessarily need as much pre-planning and preparation.
I beg to differ, I plan more when I play than when I GM. Because fuck logic.
I beg to differ, I plan more when I play than when I GM. Because fuck logic.
Well, I'm not going to comment on your skills as a GM.
Well, I'm not going to comment on your skills as a GM.
heh yeah you probably shouldnt
