Also one of the players in the vamp game I just got into has been drawing his character up a storm, which reminds me I need to do some writing for that
He finished it. hollly fuck yes [editline]18th January 2013[/editline] He said he's gonna start doing comics of our adventures too, so I'll post em when he does them.
I really want to get into a shadowrun game. If anyone has an open spot, I'll definitely join
I'd love that too. I've been meaning to play Shadowrun for a while.
Shadowrun's cool, but I'm not really keen on the whole magic thing. It's a good system though, unless you're trying to hack in combat.

I figure I was playing a rogue right when nobody would ever draw him because nobody knew what he really looked like. And he still moved the other players to tears when he died... Good times.
I'm currently running a Shadowrun game, and let me tell you how much of a headache it is. The setting is great. And a lot of the rules are easy to get into. But the organization of the core rulebook and it's supplements is absolutely terrible. On top of that the hacking and magic rules are needlessly complicated, more so for hacking. And character creation? It's mandatory to get some kind of character creator like Chummer or else prepare to have a migraine of hithero unseen proportions. Combat is also really strange; either the runners come away barely unscratched or they walk away with a hole the size of a watermelon in their chests. Despite that, the game's still fun, and character creation CAN be great if you like a lot of customization and shopping for a lot of gear. I'm certainly not going to run a game online, as much as I'd like to. I already gotta deal with Eclipse Phase, but at least it's more friendly towards those wanting more visual, tactical combat, and the hacking rules are streamlined.

The Facepunch Dark Heresy Group's campaign is nearing an end at its 50th session. After tearing their way across the sector in the name of the Inquisition, the group has successfully boarded and sabotaged a chaos star fortress which threatens a major hive-world populated by billions of people. In their current warpath they have slain no less than 200 heretics, 30 chaos space marines, 20 lesser daemons, 4 sorcerers and a couple of hereteks. Now, after striking down the Big Bad Tzeentchian sorcerer, they uncovered the dark nature of his ritual and watched in horror as a Lord of Change, a greater daemon of Tzeentch, manifested before them. I have given them a week to prepare their strategies against this nigh unbeatable abomination or die trying, the scary part is I think they may have a chance at beating it.
Damn skippy we do.
If anyone has a game open, preferably 4e, I'd love to try this online thing out? If so, just send me a message or add me on steam.
I`ll just throw bolas at it.
In before Righteous Fury. Also holy fuck sorcery in vamp is crazy shit. There wasn't even any blood left after the earth spirits were done with that chump
I noticed that, we had a fight where Elowin got shot twice, nearly died, and then almost passed out trying to heal himself, while another player shrugged off some full auto fire.
Best part was that they somehow managed to hit me twice while I was going for cover behind the wall right next to me, while everyone else just stood in the doorway and didn't get hit for shit. Such is the life of a wizard. The part where I fucked up my simple ass healing spell was pretty fun too.
I've been making a campaign setting where players take only NPC classes along with some extra things. Click here Any thoughts or advice are welcome.
The ability is very carefully explained, Codename. Whenever they are denied their dexterity bonus to armor class, you get to apply sneak attack damage. This means literal sneak attacks. The save for fire elementals is reflex save. It means you get out of the way of the burny bits.
Oh, I was mistaken about the Burn save. I understand how you use the ability, I just wonder what it represents. Elowin says it's that extra finesse, but in some situations it just seems stupid. How can you be that much better at stabbing a guy in the neck?

Taking careful aim at the opponent's neck gives him plenty of time to actually notice you which then makes said stabbing almost impossible. Rogues can find and aim for the weak spot in a heartbeat, giving the opponent no time to react to the rogue actually being there. That's at least how I imagine it.
For those of you who play 3.5, what are your thoughts on the tome of battle/book of weeaboo fighting magic?
For those of you who play 3.5, what are your thoughts on the tome of battle/book of weeaboo fighting magic?
best thing since sliced bread also unbalanced as fuck, but that's normal

Motherfucker, Cyberpunk sure is an extensive system. The rules don't look that complicated, though. Anyone knows of a character creator or somethin' for it?

Leaning more towards Pathfinder since there's greater interest for it here, but if we get maybe 4-5 people gathered I can do 4e too.
I would enjoy a pathfinder game if there is one open. I suppose i wouldn't mind a 4e one either but i've never really tried it too much and heard some things i don't like about it but why not give it a shot i guess

Also we haven't played the last two weeks.
I play said Elf. He's a unique creature, for certain.

I'm DMing for my current Real Life group, but I really want to play the game. The two experiences are so different.
