Andre will still be dead so that wouldn't change anything
Why did you kill him you stupid stupid man.
Why did you kill him you stupid stupid man.
Hey it was bisousbisous not me
beat my first run-through. huzzah, that was fun. Now to do it all over again? Yay?
beat my first run-through. huzzah, that was fun. Now to do it all over again? Yay?
but this time, with 40% more death!
not if you're good even on your first playthrough you should be able to avoid dying all the time by the time you have the lordvessel
I always saw the fight against Smough and Ornstein as a sort of "rite of passage". By that point in the game you've already learned everything you need to know and that boss serves as a sort of a test to prove you're ready. Makes sense considering you get the lordvessel afterwards and it's entirely up to you what to do next.
but this time, with 600% less death
Fixed that for you.

Manus is so much harder than Kalameet, I dunno what yall niggys be talkin bout
The bosses get considerably easier after Anor Londo too.
Exactly. 'Cuz at that point you already know how everything works, what to expect and how to react.
Exactly. 'Cuz at that point you already know how everything works, what to expect and how to react.
Could also be because you can challenge them in any order and after you've defeated one you're basically overleveled for the rest.
Manus is so much harder than Kalameet, I dunno what yall niggys be talkin bout
Manus is piss easy with a partner. O&S were the ones that have me the most trouble in my first playthrough, even with a partner.
The bosses get considerably easier after Anor Londo too.
Save for the fucking bed of chaos, goddamn. Hate that stupid thing.
Save for the fucking bed of chaos, goddamn. Hate that stupid thing.
Bed of Chaos doesn't even qualify as a boss
Manus is piss easy with a partner. O&S were the ones that have me the most trouble in my first playthrough, even with a partner.
The only summon partner I can get is absolute shit. If ANYONE on xbox is around SL111, help me with this shit
The only summon partner I can get is absolute shit.
Brolaire is not shit, how dare you ~ Oh wait, you meant Manus, nevermind.
Brolaire is not shit, how dare you ~
I mean for manus. Hell, Solaire is more helpful than most of the people I get online
Manus is piss easy with a partner. O&S were the ones that have me the most trouble in my first playthrough, even with a partner.
Every boss is piss easy with a player summon. O&S becomes a normal boss fight because someone can just distract one of them while the other person kills the other one.
Bed of Chaos doesn't even qualify as a boss
Once you get to the bug, yeah. but it's hard as piss to not get bitch-slapped off by that thing.
Manus is so much harder than Kalameet, I dunno what yall niggys be talkin bout
i don't understand this, kalameet was supreme difficulty both times but manus went down easy for me (this is all solo). i don't seem to have much trouble at all with him. what are the things people find difficult about manus? i ask this honestly and with no malice
cept 4kids
Not if both players do their share of DPS.
How is the amount of souls you get after killing an invader calculated? Is it like 10 percent of their required soul level?

For some reason, I just can't nail those dodges like I do with Kalameet.

The first 2 times I fought O&S I did it overlevelled and with 2 summons on each, the first time I fought them solo was on an SL1 run which probably wasn't the best idea as I didn't have much experience considering the summons basically killed them for me the first 2 times.
How is the amount of souls you get after killing an invader calculated? Is it like 10 percent of their required soul level?
Killing an invader gets you 50% of the souls they'd require to level up. Killing a host gives you 10%.
it took me 3+ hours of gameplay to beat biggie and smalls, mainly because I both killed smaugh first every time and did it without a summon. just did it last week. but beating them was possibly the most satisfied with anything ive done in a game, I was so happy let out a bit of a victory cry, hadn't done that for years :v: since then the games not been that bad, beaten the library/crystal cave and demons ruins and have been farming humanity to get 30 so I can get solaire for fighting gwyn. [editline]18th February 2013[/editline] also advice-- I am sl87 with a +14 uchi (still need to finish the seigmeyer questline), +5 silver knight shield, +11 pyro flame and +6 (body+8) elite knight set, FaP ring+whichever second ring suits I've been using this same gear for ages, and I'm just wondering if its still good or if better alternatives will have arrived since getting the lordvessel? seems to be doing pretty well for me but at the same time I don't have something to compare it with

I still think you should finish the questline, its fantastic
I jizzed a little the first time I killed Smith & Wessen solo.
