So, new thread. Does anyone know of good places to invade as a blue phantom at SL70-80 on PC? Most of the times I can't find anybody, people must be avoiding sins like the plague. Might have to just go and invade Burg as a red phantom.
Dorkmoons invade downwards, so you could try anywhere really. Almost no one gets sin outside of invading, and invaders never go human in areas where they haven't killed the boss. If you want DMB you could just invade with cracked orbs.
So, something I learned recently. As it turns out, the free version of microsoft flight on steam, has the must to up to date version of GFWL, and if you just sign in on it first, you won't have any problems with other GFWL games. Neat.

'Cuz if that's true, that's kind of unfair. :S

Dorkmoons either invade infinitely downloads like darkwraiths invade infinitely upwards, or it's related to the amount of sin you have, higher sin = higher level dorks can invade you. No proof of that though.

No proof of that though.
No. Dorkmoons invade around summon range. Taken from the wiki: Invading via the Blue Eye Orb has level restrictions, the basic formula is: ( X +/- (10 +/- (10% of X))), where X is your current lvl. This means that, for example, if you're level 50, you can invade people from lvl 35 (50 -15), to lvl 65 (50 +15). Important Note: testing following Patch 1.05 indicates that Sin acquired from being indicted for killing a player, which cannot be removed by speaking with Carim, is added to this formula in a 1:1 ratio to level to allow high level Dark Moon Blades to invade and punish player killers even if those players are very low level.
good thread title would rate +1
i came up with it <3
I wish I could make an int build that I wouldn't just get bored of right away. Feels like there's hardly any input when using magic.
The thing that makes int builds fun is doing loads of damage to pretty much anything with HCSM or something of the like.
You know what I love about Dark Souls? All the tiny details. I just bought the Caduceus shield from Andre, because I always used the tower kite shield before. On the Caduceus shield, rather than a crest or insignia, it has a crude painting of 2 serpants on either side of the Lordvessel with the beam of light shooting into the sky. Fromsoft continue to impress me.
It's not 2 serpents. It's one serpent with two heads. Just think about that for a bit.
No, it's clearly 2 serpents coming out of the ground. They aren't connected at all.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/9tRib.jpg[/img_thumb] Two serpents.
It's not 2 serpents. It's one serpent with two heads. Just think about that for a bit.
this motherfucker is wrong
Oh, I was thinking of the Caudecus Round Shield, check that shit out. [editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
I still have to clear Blighttown :v:
I still have to clear Blighttown :v:
I can't decide if I should rate friendly or funny.

[editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
I probably should have specified it was the kite shield (though I did say I bought it from Andre). That shield is really interesting though.
I can't decide if I should rate friendly or funny.
I'm so pissed I didn't pick the masterkey at start.
I'm so pissed I didn't pick the masterkey at start.
Everyone has to experience the pain of front blight town. Everyone.
(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
You can still go through the back entrance. Go to the parish and then go down into the basin, take the elevator and run past all the drakes and stuff.
Dude, no. Everyone must experience the joy that is Blighttown at least once. Then come the runs when you need something from there for your character, so you do a base-level "oh god oh god oh god" backwards run through the place. The fun never ends!
Blighttown isn't even that bad provided you play it somewhat carefully, with a spider shield if you fuck up it's your own fault.
I've been here for maybe 5+ hours. All my useful weapons are broken and I die in like 3 hits. I'm almost thinking of restarting the game :v:

Gotta repair all my shit and grind souls. I don't think my stats are any good. [editline]14th February 2013[/editline] Hm found a map over Blighttown. Let's see.
I've been looking for the way back to the Depth and then to the hub. Gotta repair all my shit and grind souls. I don't think my stats are any good.
Screencap of equips/stats?
I've been here for maybe 5+ hours. All my useful weapons are broken and I die in like 3 hits. I'm almost thinking of restarting the game :v:
Always buy the repair box. Always.
Holy fuck I'm at the Depths again.
Holy fuck I'm at the Depths again.
Now run, run to the Parish and find the blacksmith. He can fix your shit.
