Seperate powers? Im sold!
Also Cevat Yerli said in a recent Twitter post that C3 will look stunning on PS3/Xbox 360 but the PC version will be ahead of them, so uh, yay?
Wow, who would have thought?
I wouldn't say so, unless it's smooth and solid like it was in C2.
"Hey Crysis I wanna go fast!" "Sure buddy! Just disable your armor and you'll be on good way!" "Hey Crysis 2 I wanna go fast!" "Fuck you gimme all your energy also it's not really fast at all so there!"
Wow, just came back to Crysis 2 again... The FoV is absolutely inacceptable, what is that 55? Crytek, seriously.
no I am British you muppet
I meant Americans not understanding...... Ahh forget it
My ideal crysis 3: -The nanosuit integrates with alcatraz's withered body using ceph technology and all that jazz, slimming itself down like the NS1 (obviously not happening though). -C1 freedom of movement, with all 4 suit modes exactly like in C1 (none of this activated armour mode bullshit), circle jumping, all that good stuff, combined with vaulting/climbing obstacles from C2. For multiplayer specifically: -All C2 weapons, plus C1 weapons and some fancy alien ones maybe. -Beef up the health and energy back to C1 levels -POWERSTRUGGLE - vehicles, currency, moderate sized maps. -Persistent leveling up can stay but no perks or killstreaks. I would die happy.

It leaves no energy for cool strength fistfights
I actually liked the activated armour thing. I recently got warhead and I hate how my energy keeps getting drained when I get hit. yeah, armour was a bitch in multiplayer. Maybe it should have its own energy supply?
Crysis 2 was a huge disappointment. I hope this one sticks to the same gameplay as Crysis 1.
Crysis 2 was a huge disappointment. I hope this one sticks to the same gameplay as Crysis 1.
I wouldn't say that the single player was different but not bad. The only mistake that they made with it is that it wasn't repayable you only had one play style and you had to use it. As for multiplayer, it can go to hell. I only liked one gamemode and no one ever played it
I only liked one gamemode and no one ever played it
Assault?
Assault?
yeah, it reminded me of the zombie gamemode for CS

Like this: You have 3 ways to get on the road.
Crysis 2 was a huge disappointment. I hope this one sticks to the same gameplay as Crysis 1.
i haven't played crysis 1 but crysis 2 was pretty good although yeh it did feel very linear it felt really different from anything else i played
Crysis 2 was a huge disappointment. I hope this one sticks to the same gameplay as Crysis 1.
No, Crysis 2's Multiplayer was COD, a huge disappointment.
Psycho's back! Also, C3 isn't the last game in the franchise, and also a possibility of another enemy faction.
'Giant Frogs'? I think the article might be bullshit.
No, Crysis 2's Multiplayer was COD, a huge disappointment.
Being dismissive again?
Being dismissive again?
Yes, because sharing my opinion, which happens to be a shared opinion with much of the Crysis community is being dismissive. How about you do everyone a favor and stop trying to start a shit with me every chance you get, don't have anything to contribute? Don't speak to me.
Knock it off you two. And stop comparing Cry2's world to Cry1's world. In Cry2, the player were moved from an island to NY and you hope to get an open world gameplay? If you completely disable all the vegetations in Cry1 then the maps look pretty linear. (You still have multiple routes to get to your targets just like Cry2) Cry2's multiplayer was a general fun. It's just the way people play it pissing you off. (Still need to rebalance the gameplay, though.)
'Giant Frogs'? I think the article might be bullshit.
Well...

And maybe some environment manipulation would be cool, or destruction. The cryengine is capable of that right?

I read on some tweaking sites that there's a command that disable/enable real time environment destruction. (buildings, ect) Disabling it will result in a massive tactical disadvantages. Players in Cry2 didn't really need it anyway. Because it may drag your FPS to hell. You would know this if you have seen the new CryEngine 3.4 video.
You would know this if you have seen the new CryEngine 3.4 video.
Yeah I was just checking, wasn't sure if it was real or a dream.

4 days to wait. Yay. I love night levels.
I guess everyone are following the trend of bullet-following killcams.
It's funny to see the man with the most advanced armor in the world use one of the most primitive weapons ever invented.
