[editline]20th April 2012[/editline]
It's funny to see the man with the most advanced armor in the world use one of the most primitive weapons ever invented.
But the bow actually looks modern.
It's funny to see the man with the most advanced armor in the world use one of the most primitive weapons ever invented.
Technically, a modern bow is no less advanced than a gun. I mean, guns are basically just controlled explosions pushing things, same as a a bow is just a string's elastic potential pushing things.
But the bow actually looks modern.
I know but bows as a whole are one of the most basic weapons you can ever get. But it's rather adapted to the situation after all.
e_vegetation_min_size 4096 Add this to Cry1 config and see how "Open" Cry1 maps were. Fucking huge FPS improvement too.

It was still more free than Crysis 2 though.
Am I the only one who hated some of the particle effects in Crysis 2?
It's funny to see the man with the most advanced armor in the world use one of the most primitive weapons ever invented.
You'll be able to use explosive, as well as electric and EMP arrows. And it's automatically reloading the arrows.
And it's automatically reloading the arrows.
How the fuck?
How the fuck?
Maybe some sort of automatic quiver that's fixed on the bow itself so you just have to move your hand up to grab an arrow [editline]20th April 2012[/editline]
Am I the only one who hated some of the particle effects in Crysis 2?
Everything was shining. I hated that. What's the point of tactical goggles that can display freaking holographic huds if it can't block all that shiny stuff ? Most current sunglasses IRL can block this sort of thing.
Am i the only one who does not like the idea of being called Prophet? Alcatraz is a cooler name imo
alcatraz is a badass name it was also a badass prison
alcatraz is a badass name it was also a badass prison
it's also a show with Sam Neil in it and he's a pretty cool guy I guess
Am i the only one who does not like the idea of being called Prophet? Alcatraz is a cooler name imo
pretty ironic how he's now called prophet now
Alcatraz grew up in a Christian family and went to church religiously until he was 14, but is no longer religious by the time of Crysis 2, instead invoking parody deities such as Flying Spaghetti Monster or Ceiling Cat

Am I the only one who hated some of the particle effects in Crysis 2?
I did, a lot. They were cartoony as hell. All the fiery parts of the explosions looked like glowing liquid splattering around and I hated that more than anything else. The smoke was cool though.
For all the limitations in Crysis 2s level design, one thing I did appreciate was how you entered 90% of all "Arenas" from an Elevated position, it allowed you to assess what you were going to do, plan your course of action. That was one thing that was consistently good.

[editline]20th April 2012[/editline] I'm going to download Crysis 2 now.

The beginning of "Dead Man Walking" is one of my favorite parts. Also, the moment you open the door and look at NY after exiting the warehouse where Prophet [sp]suicided[/sp] "New York Aftermath" plays....... Oh god such beautiful scene. And: Psycho Nomad Alcatraz My 3 fav names.
The bow seemed to "shift" modes in that little clip. Bow/Crossbow hybrid maybe?
IIRC nomad got killed off through some external medium.
Psycho Nomad Alcatraz My 3 fav names.
It's ironic how Crytek gave the best and most human character (in the crysis universe) a name like Psycho.
IIRC nomad got killed off through some external medium.
A marine fired a rocket at Prophet and Psycho and Nomad sacrified himself to save them.
It's funny how Crytek gave the best and most human character (in the crysis universe) a name like Psycho.
More ironic than it is funny, i would say.
More ironic than it is funny, i would say.
Yeah, ironic fits better. What I also liked in Crysis 2 were the different reload animations that depended if you were in normal, armor or cloak mode.
Madre santissima-- BRGGHJGFH
So remember that room where you kill that one CELL colonel who has been hounding you the entire game? Were the windows some sort energy shield, or windows made using nanotech or something like that?
can't find the general Crysis thread if there is one but you should check out this guy's videos http://www.youtube.com/user/NanosuitNinja he is fucking amazing at Crysis (and Crysis 2). he used to post here, don't think he does anymore. He has One life, Ironman runs of Crysis 1, Warhead and 2 (2 runs of Warhead and Crysis 1) his commentary can be hilarious at times. Oh and he plays Crysis 1 and Warhead on his own harder then hard custom difficulty.
No, Crysis 2's Multiplayer was COD, a huge disappointment.
It's funny because I said the same thing when Crysis 2 first came out and everyone just completely flipped and told me I was wrong.
Cry2's fire particles look pretty unreallistic. (Except for the ones that come out from the broken pipes)
I hope this one's multiplayer has a working anti-cheat
