If that's the Nanosuit 1... Psycho...?
Better fucking be...
Considering that Alcatraz is just a blob of icky stuff and a bundle of nerves by the end of Crysis 2, I don't think he's in any condition to change away from N2, so I'm guessing it'd be Psycho if that was an N1, but it kind of isn't. [t]http://www6.incrysis.com/screenshots/nanosuit_and_nanosuit2_incrysis_dot_com.png[/t] Compare, on far left N2, second from left N1, second from right N2, far right N1. Compare the hands on second to right and the picture that was posted.

They probably just did some artistic touch ups to the Nanosuit 1, like how Master Chief's armor looks slightly different in Halo 2 and Halo 3 but story wise it's still the same suit of armor.
any good crysis 1 mods I should look into? I saw this one called wreckage, but that was for crysis wars (which I don't have, never got warhead)
Or it's a nano suit 3?
Or it's a nano suit 3?
If it is, it's not on Alcatraz unless they change N2s designation into N3 after it's growth.
Or maybe there's nanosuit enemies?
That looks more like the North korean version of the nanosuit 1 with a few modifications... They did an incredible job on the foliage this time, the screen with the tree growing through the car is beathtaking.
Is this the Nanosuit 1?
no, the back of the hands are different as well as the metal underneath the chest. NS2 is much more bulkier in the lower back as well.
Knees are also similar to N2's, and it's just the angle that makes the trapezius-esque part of the suit look small, you can also see the splitting jointed parts that are at the neck of N2 in the picture. [editline]4th May 2012[/editline] Could be that N2's gotten smaller on Alcatraz due to the lack of need of space (is that even an allowed sentence?)
no, the back of the hands are different as well as the metal underneath the chest. NS1 looks a lot better though, NS2 looks like some fat dude in a gorilla suit.
NS1 looks a lot better though, NS2 looks like some fat dude in a gorilla suit.
I like the clean lines of the NS2 though. I think a mix of both suits would be coolest though, maybe like what I said before:
The nanosuit integrates with alcatraz's withered body using ceph technology and all that jazz, slimming itself down like the NS1
[editline]4th May 2012[/editline] also bring back the ammo pouches from the NS1 concept art where do all these futuristic power armours store their ammo???
-The nanosuit integrates with alcatraz's withered body using ceph technology and all that jazz, slimming itself down like the NS1 (obviously not happening though).
The first part (the part before the comma) already happened in Crysis 2, though it didn't as much integrate with the withered body as much as used the body for fuel and keeps him alive. And well yeah, with ceph technology since the whole shebang is just Ceph tech with a shambled on translation of a UI. Slimming could maybe happen but don't really see a reason to, the jelly is a good cushion for the nerve system.
also bring back the ammo pouches from the NS1 concept art where do all these futuristic power armours store their ammo???
where the hell else? butt shove

Isnt the Nanosuit 2 more protective than the original? That could explain the extra Bulkyness. Then again, I dont know.
Isnt the Nanosuit 2 more protective than the original? That could explain the extra Bulkyness.
True, the NS2's armour mode is beast.
The Nanosuit 2 provides more muscular support as well as more protection. The suit has a very similar structure to the human muscular system, which is meant to function the same way muscles do. The added thickness provides more strength like real muscles as well.
That Bulkyness really did a number when it comes to Speed then. Since the Nanosuit 2 is lacking Speed mode.
The nanosuit 1 seemed almost too skinny, looks pretty unrealistic. Looks more like a person than a suit of armor.
That Bulkyness really did a number when it comes to Speed then. Since the Nanosuit 2 is lacking Speed mode.
Shift makes you run faster instead?
Shift makes you run faster instead?
The Suitmode Sprint mode. You know, the one that makes you Speedy Gonzales for a few seconds.
OOps, I was wrong. Sorry
Yes, but the first Crysis games didn't have a Sprint on Shift
What?
I dont know these things, I've only played Crysis 2 and that was on the Xbox, unfortunately. I assumed the Original Crysis had a normal sprint since such a thing is pretty much standard with first person shooters. You would think anyway... Dont worry, I'm planning on playing the PC versions of the Original Crysis when i get a chance.
Crytek changed to the NS2 in Crysis 2 because of complaints that the NS1 couldn't have held a Human body correctly IIRC.
First Crysis had normal sprint on shift. In speedmode you could move amazingly fast when sprinting, and normal speedmode speed is fast as armormode sprint.
First Crysis had normal sprint on shift. Unless you really wanted to get somewhere instantly.
You also move faster while in Speed Mode in Cry1. (Not sprint)
