In my opinion that presentation was disappointing. I was hoping it won't be as CoD-ish as Crysis 2 was, and instead it's even more like that.
hey how about we don't choose a path that YOU have set and scripted for us and instead choose a path that WE make up as we go? also psycho sounds like cpt mcmillan
Is that really Psycho? He sounded british, but with a different voice for me.
E3 gameplay looks absolutely terrible... Just what everyrone DIDNT want. They kept the FoV of 50 and the whole thing just SCREAMS console...
I love it how the gameplay trailer highlights having multiple paths to an objective like it's new and revolutionary or something lol
That's not how open gameplay is supposed to work... This is like giving us 3 doors to go through that all lead to the same place. Crysis 1 gave us a playground with an exit door somewhere.

Nanosuit reminds me of Crysis 1 a lot.

Looked...Decent. At least, they're cottoning on to how I played Crysis 1. I was a Hunter, and the Koreans were all wild animals I had to put down. Not paid enough to hunt Flying squid, so I let them be.
I think that Gameplay trailer footage was from the PC. The HUD was too small to be 720 footage shot on a console. I've played the Console version of Crysis 2, the HUD was bigger then that. Then again they could have made it smaller in Crysis 3.

Upscaled by your HDTV to 1080p or 720p.

Seriously that's how cramped it feels.[/QUOTE] its pretty much like that in every modern game though. only in a few like arma 2 can you look down and actually see your whole body. but i agree the default fov was way to small, it was like 60 degrees or something.
Not talking about body awareness, talking about if real life had C2 FOV you wouldn't be able to see more than one toe at a time.
I didn't mind the FoV in 2 at all. The weapon models looked to fucking sexy to care.

HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT IT ALL DEPENDS ON PERSON TO PERSON. Someone prefer large FOV, others prefer inferior FOV.
