Damn straight. But in the Wiki, I read somewhere that the Nanosuit 2 can hold up 20% more nanofibers.. I wonder why.
Found it:
Also, the N2 has a defibrillator, but can't use while playing. What a shame.
The defibrillator would suck, gameplay-wise. The game would lose all tension if you couldn't die.
when you actually plqy it, you notice the clunky gameplay.
crysis wars is still in my eyes the best competitive shooter ever, baring the nearly non-existent playerbase
once you appreciate the enormous adaptability and strength of the nanosuit 1 (hence huge skill-ceiling) and the level of detail and flow in all the power-struggle levels, it makes other fps like cod, bf3, even counter strike look shallow as hell
Crysis 1 was so fun until it got to the alien part. Then it all went downhill from there unfortunately.
Crysis 2 was ok, but everything was so god damn restrictive (and the suits energy gets drained way faster by doing anything) it almost went against what the first game was all about.
Crysis 1 didn't have a good story, but it made up for it with the gameplay experience largely being controlled by how the player chooses to go about things, but then Crysis 2 tries to focus on the story instead and ends up being one large cheesy b-movie type story and the game suffered because of it.
And I hated the aliens in Crysis 2. They'd be cool if they were once in a blue moon and very very tough to beat, but they were everywhere. I liked Crysis because I was the predator and the koreans were my prey.
And Crysis 2 had a pretty short campaign for not having too good of a multiplayer, it was decent but it's not something I can keep playing.
Really? It was over 12 hours for me. I've seen many magazines giving it a positive aspect, for this long campaign. For me, it was longer than many other shooters.
It's somehow sad that we can't get to do something like this in Cry2 and possibly Cry3 as well.

What if someone bought it for you.
Not implying I will, I'm a fucking broke student, but still.
Crysis 2 wasnt a mess it was a good game.
Crysis 2 wasnt a mess it was a good game.
It would have been if it wasn't crysis.
The issue here is that it's a super-linear shooter that pretends it's something it's not.
if Crysis 2 came before 1 (gameplay wise) then everything would be peachy but to remove mechanics you've already introduced in a previous game to test the console waters with an already established IP and audience is so fucking stupid it hurts just thinking about it.
I don't know about everyone else, but i really hope they go back to the Crysis 1 style for Crysis 3.
Crysis 2 was so mundane in that all that you ever did was go from the next place to the next place in a boring concrete world of buildings. They tried to copy the whole Cod thing with the attachments and should have just stuck to the format of the original game.
If Crysis 3 can become a benchmark game like Crysis 1 once was (or still sort of is, even though its been so many years), then I will be happy. If they keep the luscious forests and vast landscapes that make the first Crysis then i think they're onto a winner.
I can remember what happened in Crysis 1 because it was always so different! I can't remember a dam thing about Crysis 1, the story line was terrible.

Unless the player gets the Nanosuit 1 back, I don't see why/how they should make it to be like Cry1.
If you're complaining about the open-world things, don't get me started on this topic.
Then again about Cry2, it's in a city, heavily isolated city. The developers couldn't make it fully open-world because what if the players decided to drop the story, and want to run out of the map? Perhaps the developers could do that by creating a high wall around a big map, blocking the bridge with vehicles, but think about it, is it really needed? They have given you different choices, paths to complete your objectives, they did not give you only one linear road to walk on.
If you still have Cry1 installed, try changing this line's value in the config: e_vegetation_min_size=*default* to e_vegetation_min_size=4096
And tell me, how open-world Cry1 is.

:colbert:
i had a brilliant idea
coop would be amazing in cry1/2/3
in c3 one person could play prophet, the other plays psycho :v:
Crysis doesnt need coop, would lose the predator feeling knowing someone else was with you.
Would benefit from a more assymetric multiplayer though. One team 20% of the server population playing as nanosuit folks, rest are north american korean russians.
We need at least one unique multiplayer gamemode that isn't a COD clone this time around.
I think a Halo-ish multiplayer would fit Crysis well. Sort of open maps, with a few jeeps and maybe a tanks to drive around in.
We need at least one unique multiplayer gamemode that isn't a COD clone this time around.
You mean kill confirmed?
Crysis 2 had that before cod.

Fuck now I look and feel dumb
Thanks a lot Lizzrd!
You're welcome.

That was the multiplayer before they went full retard with Crysis 2.
A tank that launches tactical nukes.
tbh ive not paid much attention to Crysis 3 since it was announced, looking at it a little more in depth the environments do look pretty cool,
game breaker will be how they handle the suit. if they keep it as clunky as it was in Crysis 2 then it'll suck more dick then Elton John.
