im kinda hoping they continue to go to different locations for each game, Crysis 1 = Jungle, Open Crysis 2 = City, Closed Crysis 3 = Desert/Snow, Open? But from those pictures I cant see it happening
I don't see how they could make a desert seem exciting, same with an arctic tundra. It'd have to be either a city or a tropic, hopefully both cause NY's supposed to be clear of the Ceph as of the end so it stands to reason Alcatraz/[sp]Prophet[/sp] would be taken to new locales. No idea where Psycho is.[/sp]

I really liked both Crysis and Crysis 2, so I think I'll rather get Crysis 3 too.
seeing as [sp]alcatraz and prophet lives on in the same suit now[/sp] I'd like to see Crysis 3 play out as a buddycop film. "I'm too old for this shit" Prophet, the soon-to-retire special operative, mutters as a squad of Cell-soldier repel in through the windows, whereas the trigger-happy rookie Alcatraz is overflowing with joy.

The only thing I won't forget in Crysis 2 are the mass destruction sequences. When you get on that highway and the entire thing collapses! And then at the end [sp]when the entire earth heaves with an alien force to create floating islands![/sp]
Eh... I hope the multiplayer is improved because Crysis 2 had a laggy piece of shit. There were times where I unloaded a full mag into someone only to be killed by 3 shots while I was in armor mode.
His lungs and vocal cords were damaged. A cutscene somewhere in Crysis 2 shows how fucked up he was.
also it's generally pretty difficult to talk when you've got lots of bullets in your chest
nomad was a generic action hero #14854 nothing special about him.
Now psycho was a real character. I hope we see him again.
I hope they release Crysis 3 with a natural environment biome like in Crysis 1. One of my fondest memories was playing a custom map with my friends called Rallyfaggots (our edit of a map derived from RallyFreaks), where we would all drive around in those korean cars in the middle of the night while it was storming on this gigantic racetrack built on the side of a cliff with several wandering tornadoes to cause supreme chaos. Often our convoy would suddenly stop and before we know it, we were being flung around like toys into the sides of cliffs and dropped into the abyss below. Quite a sight to behold.

I got stuck at level 26. Nothing I did, reinstalling, emailing support, worked. Other people had the problem too. Every time I restarted it was like I had never played. Really sucked because I loved the sniper rifle and wanted to unlock shit for it but it never stuck.
Now psycho was a real character. I hope we see him again.
bald Vinnie Jones in powered armor is like the best character idea ever
Am partway through 2, I HATE as soon as you uncloak every fucking person around a 1000 mile radius shoots at you.
nomad was a generic action hero #14854 nothing special about him.
His voice was awesome and i liked playing as him, i don't need to say anymore really.
MY CHUTES GONE, MY DAMNED CHUTE IS GONE
I've got no backup, no reserve. Keep it together kid, you're above water so your suit should absorb the impact.
=end up breaking the bow because you can't actually feel how much strength you're putting into it?
According to the book the Nanosuit 2 is like the most advanced thing in the entire universe ever. I'm pretty sure it has pressure sensors. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline]
I've got no backup, no reserve.
[sp]alcatraz and prophet lives on in the same suit now[/sp]
[sp]Nope. They merged.[/sp]
[sp]Nope. They merged.[/sp]
[sp]Prophet is still a distinct entity: you see him at the end of the game and he is the one giving you objectives (you never noticed his voice?). There's plenty of brain-space in the suit for both of them, Alcatraz's conciousness exists primarily in the suit anyway.[/sp]
I like how he says it should absorb in the impact rather than it will absorb the impact, that small time gave Crytek a chance the make the shortest game in history.
"Assimilation complete"
I suppose i'll be paying attention to this, Hopefully i should be playing it the proper way on PC and not play the console verson. If it's open world that is. Nanosuit (3?) + Bow and Arrow + Maximum Strength = Some poor bastard will be attached on the wall?
I hope you can go around and stab people with the bow. Arrows are overrated.
Nanosuit (3?) + Bow and Arrow + Maximum Strength = Some poor bastard will be attached on the wall?
I don't think bows work that way it would be hilarious to see some nanosuited guy pull the wire back too far and get twanged in the eye though
I don't think bows work that way it would be hilarious to see some nanosuited guy pull the wire back too far and get twanged in the eye though
Ah, but you see. It could be a futuristic/alien bow that might take the strain like its nothing.

[sp]And of course, there is the troubling fact that he still insists on referring to himself as "Prophet," although he is fully aware that he is Laurence Barnes, and that Laurence Barnes is dead.[/sp]
