Then why post it? You say in the thumbnail it's awesome, but yet you say in your post that it's nothing special. It just screams that you're just trying to advertise your videos, considering how many of them you post here.
it is extremely difficult to be competitive if your ping is over 90, and the shotgun is waaaayyyy OP. the feline feels as if it has lost its punch since crysis2 as well. i am just wondering if they bring back the
k-volt, it appears so since it mentions it in the tips while the game is loading
I'm really enjoying the beta more than I did Crysis 2. Hunter mode would be really fun to screw around with in a custom game setting. If only I wasn't a poor college kid...
why are people saying even crysis 1 was a good single player game. i could imagine the multiplayer being good but the campaign took me a total of 4 hours to beat the first time through on a high difficulty.
well barring some of the time spent going back and forth like an idiot in those innavigatable alien corridors. although the zero g combat was pretty sweet.
i think they could just do crysis in space. do a proper space game with simulated atmosphere and gravity affecting everything and all that. i think if they did crysis in space, and didn't fail, they could redeem what basically started as a 60 dollar tech demo. a really fun tech demo...

Nah it's just infinite armor for 10 or so seconds not like it helps like all hell in a pinch.

I like it a lot tbh, it's not too OP but when you get it it helps you survive for those few moments you activate it.
Kinda glad killstreaks don't start over again too though, would be too easy to just build up tons of maximum suits.

Nope. The game is just terribly bad fucking optimized. Crytek should be ashamed of themselves.
crysis 1: Really good in therms of optimization, crysis 2: even more! ( with the latest patches)

The beta runs really well for me, and the alpha ran really badly for me, so I won't be surprised if this gets fixed.

no seriously has anyone ever put ANY thought into why it was melting even the mightiest machines back in the day? that's because it was supposed to be one massive tech demo/stress test for the PC platform and the devs didn't bother with optimization. and then we have Crysis 2 that even on the lowest settings looks rather gorgeous and runs on my shitty joke of a piece of crap computer at 40-60 FPS.
Crysis 2 was better optimized than Crysis 1

Well on alpha it ran pretty bad on me and on beta its more or less the same deal..
Anyone else find the multiplayer a little bit too chaotic? I know its the beta and all, but it feels very hard to keep up with.

this game scales well with more cpu cores, i think it might be a landmark pc game in that sense.
also, the game scales well with multiple graphics cards too.
and it has the SMAA option that everyone loves.
and it uses the latest directx version too.

I really disliked Crysis 2 on release, but I replayed it last week and found myself enjoying it. I guess I'm looking forward to this now.
I'm honestly getting pretty excited for this. I'll probably use the bow for entire playthrough unless I'm forced to use something else. I loved going back and playing the previous levels in Crysis 2 on the hardest difficulty just using cloak and a suppressed pistol.
Also anyone know if and when they're going to do a pre-load for this?
Apparently some Vic Mackey looking dude on Neogaf went through the game in 5 hours. Not sure if easy or rushed or all of the above.
I got a good 8 hours out of the Crysis 2 singleplayer. That doesn't count my MP time or going after all the collectibles and playing through on other difficulties.
I expect the same for Crysis 3, although C3 looks a hell lot more fun.
Some people have completed deus ex 3 in under 2 hours too.
I guess it depends on how much time you allocate to it. One can always rush and be done with objectives faster, but it's not always what's most fun.
