This will likely happen in a few months after all DLC is out." :(
FUCK. Half the reason the Crysis 2 mod community NEVER KICKED OFF was because it took them months to release the SDK at which point 90% of the people waiting for it said fuck this
I can't buy the game on origin. Niether the website or the client. it just tells me my cart is empty. I can't believe they let this stuff happen. I actually forgot to preorder, I didn't lose anything special did i? [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] Rebooting the client worked.
preorders are just early access mp items and crysis 1/2 depending on version, i preordered hunter edition but crysis 1 isnt showing up on my origin account yet
I was just playing multi-player (which is a lot of fun, even if it is very similar to Crysis 2) and suddenly my screen turned yellow and I had to power down my PC :v: [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] I wish I had FRAPS or something running during my last game. All my death-cams showed them shooting at me but my body was on the floor just SCOOTIN' AROUND :v:
singleplayer is amazing so far. the suit module thing caught me by surprise, and I'm loving the more cinematic experience. way too easy tho.

The open levels are beautiful too

So, is it (SP) any better from Crysis 2? Does Alcatraz speak more this time?
So, is it (SP) any better from Crysis 2? Does Alcatraz speak more this time?
There's more speaking, but you aren't Alcatraz.
[sp]I thought Psycho was in jail or something[/sp]
[sp]He was in CELL custody and got busted out.[/sp]
[sp]k. Do you meet Alcatraz in the game? Is he by any chance the jolly fellow who busts you out?[/sp]
[sp]k. Do you meet Alcatraz in the game? Is he by any chance the jolly fellow who busts you out?[/sp]
[sp]Psycho is the guy who busts you out. Alcatraz is technically you, in that Prophet took his body via SCIENCE or something.[/sp]
[sp]Prophet fires a space based directed energy weapon at the Alpha Ceph. The Alpha Ceph is destroyed but debris hits the directed energy weapon that Prophet is operating. Prophet is knocked off and undergoes reentry into the atmosphere. He eventually impacts the water near the beach of the Lingshan Islands. so prophet falls from space and survives, lolwut[/sp]

[sp] Prophet is basically God now [/sp] I think he's like [Sp] Tony Stark from the Extremis comic in the sense that the suit is basically part of him now. I really doubt he could cut it out at this point [/sp]
[sp]Considering that N2 was the only thing that was keeping Alcatraz alive in 2 and was gradually turning him into goop and nerves I'm fairly sure that he can't take it off in 3[/sp]
I like how the spot [sp]Prophet lands is the same spot Nomad lands at the start of Crysis, and the hut he's in is where the first jammer in Crysis was, complete with the dock the NK soldier was pissing off of.[/sp]
[sp]When is this in the game?[/sp]
The end.
Total Biscuit has released his WTF video on the singleplayer, is there on official word why exactly they removed the FOV slider? Luckily there are FOV console commands.
I'm not really sure if I actually want to buy this or not. In order to really enjoy this game I probably need better hardware then what I already own, and over the last few years nothing was really that taxing on my setup and just more iterations on what already existed. And all I really want is to play the singleplayer. I didn't care for the multiplayer on any either of the 2 crysis games in the past. By now, it's almost guaranteed to be just another cod multiplayer clone with the nano suits.
After watching TBs video, I want Crysis 3 more then I wanted it before, and before I didn't want it at all.
I'm enjoying the single player quite a bit. Playing on the hardest difficulty makes stealth gameplay almost required, and at the same time fun as hell. One slip up and you're done pretty much. I've snuck past entire rooms of at least 10 or more enemies and I was sweating the whole time, especially when I saw "LOW SUIT POWER" flash and I needed to find cover.
Oh wow, he actually liked it? Wasn't expecting that saying how critical he can be sometimes. Wish AMD would hurry up and send me my key!
He's complaining a bit on how run n gun isn't really an option on harder difficulties though. Because you know, crysis 1 was totally a run n gun game.
He also says he likes the stealth. I think he wants the choice to do both, not just one or the other.
Yes, he stated that he would like that there was a possibility to use the more shooty tactics on harder difficulties instead of primarily having to use stealth because it was supposed to have a choice
i hate not being able to max this out have to play on high everything. what setting would you say isn't as important as others and which ones I can lower that I wont notice much of a difference? i couldnt even get the first mission higher than about 15 fps at 1080 changed everything to high and fxaa and got 35-60
