How well do you think this setup will run Crysis 3? the 2 cards are 6970s.
If only you could have the simpler suit from 2 with the more open levels from 1.
Personally I'd prefer both systems to be included, you could then change it depending on your taste. The C2 system is easier to pick up but skill ceiling just isnt there as it was wirhC1 system.
3>2>1 imo because gunplay in 1 was worse than ass cancer because you couldn't hit shit and suit modes other than cloak and speed were useless.
inability to adapt and engage leaves you unable to survive
the gunplay was awesome, except for the AK feeling a bit wimpy maybe. the attachment system (you've got the equipment to survive any situation) augments it further. and i found all the suit modes useful; cloaking for sneaking, armor for firefights, speed for getaways and strength for beating enemy brains out. switch them rapidly and combine your moves and maneuvers for maximum Crysis. you just need to stay aware of what's going on around you and come up with the solutions and tactics on the fly (something we never see in shooters nowadays)
slapping a 20x scope onto the shotgun and switching to the long range fire mode was absolutely priceless, as was emerging from a bush next to a speeding car, decloaking and strength-punching it to the kingdom come
its not a bad game; you're just a bad gamer. try learn the game mechanics instead of whining that victory is not handed to you on a fucking plate.
what this guy said
sounds like a case of filthys casualis. it's terminal
3>2>1 imo because gunplay in 1 was worse than ass cancer because you couldn't hit shit and suit modes other than cloak and speed were useless.
Couldn't hit shit? Tell that to all the Koreans I picked off from clear across bases. With an assault rifle.
Protip: Use cloak mode to get into position and then strength mode to steady your aim.
Is it me or is Crysis 3 a lot bloodier than the first two games?
btw does anyone know if the always-so-broken blood effects in C1 were ever patched? the stuff always bursts from the koreans' legs and only when they die
Are you playing 64-bit?
When I played in 32-bit there was little to no blood, in 64-bit it was everywhere.
oh, that explains it
fucking 32 bit, more like no-fun-allowed-bit; it even prevents me from enjoying Planetside 2
The thing I hate about 32-bit is all the vegetation and rock pop-in.
[editline]23rd February 2013[/editline]
But the hats do bleed in 32-bit.
(32-bit is weird)
I can't decide if I want to try this.
I really like Crysis 1, but Crysis 2 bored me within half an hour and I never played it again. This looks more similar to 2 than 1, but my friend tells me it is really good. I cant decide.

All this philosophical shit - it's like you're a ninja or something.
I agree though but I usually give myself the TAC launcher.

3 is better than 2 by miles and you should enjoy it if you play it right, don't expect C1 levels of greatness and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

2 is by far the most bloody, .50 rounds into a CELL trooper caused a proper fountain. I noticed there was much less in C3.
The only "blood" I saw in Crysis 2 was from the aliens.
The Cell guys shot out dust.
Also, replay Crysis 1 in 64-bit mode. I managed to cover an entire set of sandbags with the blood from two guys :v:
oh man Crysis 1, and Crysis Warhead and Red Faction Guerrilla and BF3 and Max Payne 3 and Metro 2033 and TF2 and GMod and all these games my broken and old PC hasn't been able to run since it started fucking itself up if ever. hnnng can't wait to get my hands on my new PC
you activated my anticipation mode Makol, i hope you feel bad
You just reminded me. I never beat Warhead.
I should do that.

Good god man! Fix that nao

64 bit is horribly buggy, it runs at an awful FPS without even using my SLI'd 570s past 50%, using more than 1gb of VRAM, taking any single CPU core to maximum or using more than 1.2gb of RAM.
And the landslide at the start of the level just after the tank one causes an insane fps drop.
[editline]23rd February 2013[/editline]
Also it really likes crashing.
Was this noticed before?

I have never had an issue with 64-bit. Never experienced any crashes or massive fps drops.
Ran fine when I had CF HD6870s and runs even better with my single GTX 670.
Been playing on Post-Human Warrior.
It's a fun challenge. Loving it so far.
[editline]23rd February 2013[/editline]
Subway trains in one of the first few levels started to do backflips when I shot them with an arrow, so I had to restart that bit.
Was funny. Hopefully there won't be more massive bugs like that.

Warhead is fucking awesome
and my new PC's going to come with a 670 so good to know that i'll have no problems
Just don't get one with a stock cooler :v:
They're really loud.
my god it's like one of those prerendered and scripted trailers

except with lots of desaturation. turn your screen color saturation up 30% and it should look better
[editline]23rd February 2013[/editline]
holy fuck imagine Crysis with Oculus Rift or some other VR hat like that
Nomad high on nanites?
this is more jaw-dropping actually, i like overdone effects

The smoke looks really shitty but those sparks are damn awesome.
Yeah, still looks like the 7970 for what i'm gonna get. All i'm really worried about though is CPU bottleneck.
doesn't exist, your 920 at stock wouldn't bottleneck a GTX Titan
