you dont have to reduce objects from very high, just enter this in the console instead. it disables tessellation, which is bugged for a lot of people
e_TessellationMaxDistance 0
The game looks good even on medium

Isn't the time given at the end of the campaign not counting any time lost due to deaths?
The campaign timer gives 5:40:00 but origin gave something like 7 hours. Still short-ish but lots of fun and replayable.
The stuff in C1 is recon armour, its armour mode could take like 2 rifle rounds before failing. In Crysis 2 and 3 you're taking 15 shots per charge easily.
You can see the Nanosuit 1.0 in Crysis 2 as well, Hargreave has a couple on display just before his office.
I'd still use the nanosuit 1 over 2.0, its usage had a higher skill ceiling and the old speed mode was simply too useful compared to the shitty sprint of the later games.
Oh, and you could go prone with it.
Korean nanosuit looked the coolest though, attaching ballistic plates for extra protection should have been in the US model too.

You'd have the advantage of massive speed but the disadvantage of pew pew ur ded in der hed.
this runs so much worse than crysis 2
i can barely run it on low :(

I'm running it on medium high but holy balls is this game intense on the system.

I didn't see the actual campaign timer, but origin says i've played for 9 hours.
The ending was pretty cool, [sp]but why do you look prophet again? Because of the nanites or something? Because prophet shot himself and alcatraz got into the suit[/sp]
Is there any way to buy the game for a cheaper price than Origin offers? Both Hunter and DD editions are full of things that shouldn't be there.

According to the wiki
[sp]I thought the suit burnt off because you fell from space or something, as you're on fire during the cutscene, but apparently the suit doesn't get destroyed, it just makes itself look like prophet's body. Which makes sense, because alcatraz body was damamaged at the start of Crysis 2 and he wouldn't survive without the suit[/sp]
So now that the [sp]nanites are "free" couldn't he essentially be a shape-shifter?[/sp]
No health regen in Cell vs Rebel MP modifier btw.
Nomad alive? Huh? in the comics he died. i'd love to see a 4nd game.
There won't be one since Crytek goes fully into Free2Play.
After reading a bunch of intel files I'm impressed how the new writer managed to cobble together the plot when it was in a billion pieces after C2.
I'm just going to be mad as fuck if Crytek never follows the story thread of [sp]Nomad being possibly alive, the whole Silverback thing, the other nanosuit operators etc. SP DLC would be nice.[/sp]
interesting that the game doesn't have a 'last checkpoint' option in the pause menu, need to back out to the main menu and hit resume game.

So Cell doesn't hear their buddy on the top level explode from a thermite tipped arrow, but the moment I shoot someone cloaked and with a silencer in the back of the head they hear it.
So I just completed the game(360) got the achievments for complete 3 out of 7 levels on supersoldier, as I started on that difficulty, played through-out the game but didn't get the achievment for completing the game on supersoldier, does it change your difficulty if you die more than so many times?
It even says I finished all of the missions on supersoldier too when I go to replay missions.... :c

Crytek has said they may consider making another Crysis game but it will most likely not be a fps game.

I'm running it on a 5 year old cpu/RAM and a 2 year old GPU (mid-high end when they were released) and I run it fairly well on all high with max SMAA, though it occasionally dips to annoyingly low levels. I'd fine tune it some more but I only have access to this PC like once every 2 weeks and by the time i have it full time again it'll be juneish and I'll be upgrading it with haswell and 500GB of GDDR56 semen-cooled deluxe monster energy branded RAM.
During the mission [sp]Where you are heading to the skinning labs, the very beginning of the level if you dot the secondary objectives to fine the data files for Psycho, they list off a bunch of Nanosuit users, including the North Koreans, it also implies that there were more US Nanosuit users then Raptor team on the Island.[/sp]
From what I've played so far though (the first 3 or so levels) it's so much better than C2. There's a much nicer flow to the combat, the graphics are better, it feels less of a generic FPS and the bow is fucking awesome. Seriously, I can't express in words how fucking good it is, the game as a whole benefits from its inclusion because tit really helps the flow and pacing when you don't just have guns but something that allows you a slightly different way of dealing with enemies.
Also I'm so looking forward to playing this on Very High (or slightly less depending on how well my upgraded PC handles getting whipped by the game) at 60FPS on oculus rift, it'll be fucking sweet.

[sp]On one of Prophets early datalogs he mentions his team he had after Crysis 2 was made up of nanosuit soldiers which included Koreans and other Americans including Psycho from Raptor Team[/sp]
Didn't you join up with a bunch of faceless nanosuit guys in warhead?
Didn't you join up with a bunch of faceless nanosuit guys in warhead?
The 2 Rebels in the first level, Bandit and Dane, were from Warhead's Eagle Team.
i fucking got amazed at the way where i was only 1 enemy left , ran outta cloack the FUCKER calls for backup and then i got lead into my suit
