So um I'm asked to plant explosives under the dam But I have none (spent them making traps for cell) What do? I looked everywhere, found only ammo pickups [editline]25th February 2013[/editline] Even the rocket launcher doesn't do the job lmao [editline]25th February 2013[/editline] Oh wait, that was supposed to be a scripted event :v:
The 2 Rebels in the first level, Bandit and Dane, were from Warhead's Eagle Team.
"Dane mate do you copy"
Finished the game, liked the ending, the game felt pretty short though and wasn't that hard to finish even on Veteran.
Multiplayer is quite fun, though I know it will die simply because it feels so short and simple. [editline]25th February 2013[/editline] Also I'm late to the party and stuff, but I'm going to be putting up the whole campaign in 1080p on Very High Post Human. Not a Let's Play, but chapter by chapter gameplay that will hopefully pick up in views if people are looking for gameplay. I'm ok at the game. I'm playing on hardest difficulty, so some parts I can't be as fluent as I'd like.
There's something strangely satisfying about picking up a guy and taking him to a tall spot just to snap his neck and watch him drop. Fuck I really would love if we could get the ability to snap necks like that and kick people in Crysis 1/Warhead.
i love leading a bunch of cell to a staircase and then sliding down it. since you knock down people you slide into, its like bowling
What's the difference between high and very high settings?
If you want good performance on high/very high but still great looks, set basically all settings to whatever visual setting you want and then turn down post processing and shaders to medium. If you want you can also set shadows to something low, that's what is taking up a lot of performance. Also I wonder [sp]who that nano-suit operator lying in the skinning lab was[/sp]
Also I wonder [sp]who that nano-suit operator lying in the skinning lab was[/sp]
I do too. He [sp]looked like he was in a suit from Crysis 1 for some reason[/sp]
Just beat Crysis 3 on max difficulty. It was just as good as Crysis 1 overall IMO. I am surprised how short it was compared to Crysis 2. But I did enjoy the ending, espically [sp]the final cut scene which was a level from Crysis 1.[/sp]
i haven't really played 3 yet but can someone explain to me what the deal is with the main character from 2 onwards. why is he prophet? did prophet invade his body? did he decide to become prophet? was prophet thrust upon him? can he exit his suit? if he did would he look like prophet? or would he be the other guy with prophet's brain? i don't understand.

The man in the suit is Alcatraz, but mind damaged beyond repair, body merged with Prophet's data stored within the nanosuit [/sp]
What's the difference between high and very high settings?
20 fps I guess I'm blind or something but I can't see any difference between very high and low other than framerate
I do too. He [sp]looked like he was in a suit from Crysis 1 for some reason[/sp]
Pretty sure Prophet was the only one who was actually given a Nanosuit 2, so it'd make sense that those who got skinned would wear either Korean suits or Nanosuit 1's. Crysis 3 retcons some of those events, in an intel log it's said that Alcatraz's personality is damaged and it's still stored in the suit, but not active. Basically Prophet accidentally made a backup copy of his mind in the suit when he used it, so when he killed himself a copy of his personality lived on.[/sp]

Prophet accidentally left imprints of himself in the suit, and the suit slowly took over alcatraz. By the end of Crysis 2 he's basically a vegetable that's kept alive by the suit. They mention several times in Crysis 2 that he shouldn't even be alive all the damage to his body. It's fitting that Claire calls you hardware for the start of Crysis 3.
yeah the book (might not be canon I know but it seems p cool) says that Alcatraz no longer has lungs, a heart, and is missing many other organs as the suit "borrows" tissue from its wearer to repair itself. At the time of Crysis 3 it's probably a suit full of squishy jello with some nerves, bones and possibly two eyeballs inside of it.
i am just going to go around in crysis going beep boop im a robot [editline]26th February 2013[/editline]
yeah the book (might not be canon I know but it seems p cool) says that Alcatraz no longer has lungs, a heart, and is missing many other organs as the suit "borrows" tissue from its wearer to repair itself. Or he's just a walking suit, there's no human tissue inside anymore.
bones and possibly two eyeballs inside of it.

what if somebody opens the suit
and then a skeleton popped out i honestly liked the nanosuit more when it was just you know, a piece of hi-tech armor
i honestly liked the nanosuit more when it was just you know, a piece of hi-tech armor
hence why I like to consider Crysis a standalone title. EA just sent me a copy of C3 for both PC and 360 (that's getting ebayed) as well as this.... A Nanosuit onesie I am both amazed and fucking terrified at the same time.
Just don't let it turn your vocal cords into a mass of goop. Or the rest of your body for that matter. [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] Are you going to make any crysis 3 videos btw?

anyone remember this? it's still rather mind-blowing
i how can that even happen what if somebody opens the suit does he just spill out all over the floor
Probably, but the bad guys really just want the suit. They wouldn't care about that. I pretty much liked the idea of a synthetic suit that melts with your body.
Remember that VR Half Life 2 mod with the Occulus Rift that was shown about a month ago? The guy made a new mod for Crysis.
how come no aim down sights? Never mind, he ported the behavior over from half life2. [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] Looks fun though.
should i get bioshock infinite preorder or crysis 3 hunter
