that's pretty gosh darn retarded tbh [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] so basically - the suit is alive and pretending to be prophet. while a possibly brain dead man is in the suit having his muscles manipulated by robo-suit prophet. alright, crysis writers. alright.
As much as I agree, I like the idea that the suit design is flawed. I imagine Alcatraz is more so a zombie of sorts and while he's controlling his body the suit is keeping him alive with prophets uploaded mind. So sort of, the suit needs him, and he needs the suit. If they made another trilogy, I'd like to see maybe a prequel looking into the early designs of the suit and the problems it had with the users.
you'd think that the suit would heal them. I mean i can't imagine the military being fond of using a corpse as a supersoldier. That corpse would probably also want to do regular human things.. he'd need to bring the suit with him to like.. pick up the kids from school and love his wife.

NK probably knew what the suit would do, they developed their own model independently.

Atleast currently. Prophet/Alcatraz is pretty much solo. I'm not saying by design it's using a corpse. I'm saying, I like the idea that some of the flaws are being shown with the suit, it's not perfect and it's somewhat of a symbiotic relationship in the current games.
Yeah the general dude in the second game was opposed to the nanosuit 2 because of the risks to the user.
btw anyone have any info on the "Code Blue" incident mentioned in Warhead? it had something to do with Nomad and probably the suit
btw anyone have any info on the "Code Blue" incident mentioned in Warhead? it had something to do with Nomad and probably the suit
O'Neill fucked up and Nomad was next in line for Raptor Team. My Google Fu says "Code blue is used in Military hospitals to indicate a patient requiring immediate resuscitation, usually due to cardiac arrest". I always thought he was disarming a nuke or some shit.
Just beat the game, felt kinda short, but still enjoyable. [sp] Anyone know the significance of Prophet being on the island of the first Crysis at the end? [/sp]
[sp] Anyone know the significance of Prophet being on the island of the first Crysis at the end? [/sp]
[sp]full circle[/sp]
[sp]It was just to make the player feel a certain way at the end of a trilogy.[/sp]
Or it was a dream all along. *What a twist* I'd like to know where he got the photo of the Raptorteam. This made me now realize, I wish Crytek would have put more effort into the Raptorteam story. Half of the team got killed in the first 40 minutes of Crysis 1. I know nothing about Jester, Aztec and Nomad.
I think the story and world still has plenty to explore. Maybe some small DLC campaign missions as normal soldier squads on the other side of the city work with Claire's team or something.
'Tis a shame my graphics card is poo
should i get bioshock infinite preorder or crysis 3 hunter
I don't know oh how about you ask the people in the Crysis 3 megathread for an unbiased opinion!

I wonder if there is any way to edit the Crysis 3 save files or profile information. Profile is stored in a xml file, but it appears to be encrypted.
I keep crashing to 'Crysis 3 has stopped working' during the [sp]Alpha ceph fight[/sp]. Tried reverting to old drivers, no dice. Anyone else having this issue or know a fix? [editline]26th February 2013[/editline]
anyone remember this? it's still rather mind-blowing
"Aren't you a little short for a nanosuiter?"
one of my pet peeves about the nanosuit 1 was that it looked like it was designed for an anorexic person. Honestly, how is anyone supposed to be able to fit in the N1, and get protection: [img_thumb]http://download.gamespotcdn.net/d4/user_images/1910/nanosuit1nanosuit2.png[/img_thumb]
it has already been stated that it was for recon, and it's a nanosuit it's thin as fuck 1 looks fucking badass, 2 looks like fat midget, I really don't like how they removed all that shit from the back either, it added a lot to the coolness of the first suit
And 3 is just a blackman that can turn invisible.
just as good as crysis 1? uhhhhhhhhhh
In my opinion, yes. In terms of performance, optimization, and gun play I did indeed enjoy is much better. I LOVED the Environment. The alien jungle ruins of NYC fascinated me, and the visuals looked slightly better than Crysis 1 with less of a performance hit, even on max settings.
anyone had trouble getting into the vtol with the FY71? the npc's just stand there blocking the way, looks like there is a upgrade crate and jaw in there as well

And last time I checked performance varies per system configuration. All because Crysis 1 had better performance on one system configure doesn't mean others will. On my system my average FPS on Crysis 1 maxed out is about 48-60 FPS, while Crysis 3 has an average FPS of 60-78 FPS on my system.
it's simple fact that crysis 1 performs better than 3 that's what benchmarks are for http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/crysis_3_graphics_performance_review_benchmark,7.html http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_Titan/12.html
Crysis 3 Max settings on my resolution and GPU Crysis 1 Max settings same res and GPU as my own. Congrats, you proved my point that system configurations very performance in video games. Crysis 3 out performs Crysis 1 on my computer.
lol why do you have a $1,000 graphics card with a monitor that only does 1600x1200, of course it's going to end up being cpu bound at that res for everyone else, 1 performs better, as it should
