Powerstruggle was close to perfect IMO. The only thing I'd change in crysis wars would be having multiple good guns instead of the SCAR dominating. Also some maps such as mesa were too big but the smaller ones like plantation are perfect.
it's the only game mode that got my heart racing. That feeling you have when you buy the tac launcher and everyone can see you is just impossible to match.

I'd say Crysis 2 was more THRILLING to play, more fun was 1.
The only thing I won't forget in Crysis 2 are the mass destruction sequences. When you get on that highway and the entire thing collapses! And then at the end [sp]when the entire earth heaves with an alien force to create floating islands![/sp]
All of this. The Met Life building collapsing on Grand Central Station was awesome. Really well done.
I don't know where they could take it after New York, but I don't want it to be New York again.
From the pictures, it looks like a destroyed city that has been overgrown with plants. Welcome to the jungle indeed.
From the pictures, it looks like a destroyed city that has been overgrown with plants. Welcome to the jungle indeed.
The important thing is though, will there be fun and games?
If it becomes a 'jungle' then how many years have passed? Trees don't grow very fast. Unless the they're going to pull deus ex machina and say the alien technology made everything grow at a high rate.
Maybe the Alienvirus that was turned against them, that was spread all over New York, had a sideeffect on the environment, so it grew pretty fast.
Crysis was a trilogy back all the way in 2007, this is the end of it.
Except EA wants to make some more sequels, spin offs, etc.
The important thing is though, will there be fun and games?
Do you count putting someone's face parallel to but in the opposite direction of their body as "fun and games"?
If it was back in a jungle I might be more interested. I played Crysis 2 for like 1 hour then got bored.

A guy in another forum came up with this theory: It takes place fifty or so years after the events of Crysis 2 and most of Earth industry is wiped out by the aliens. Since there isn't ammo anymore, hence bow and arrows. Since Alcatraz/Prophet and Rasch are in Nanosuits they can survive very, very long.
Alcatraz can survive as long as sun shines because solar power

Maybe we are using a bow because it's a cool looking weapon.
How many trees would it take to get an oxygen concentration high enough to poison humans?
I think the reason they would be using Bow and Arrows would mainly since it penetrates the Ceph armour easier, stabbing them in their jelly bellies.
So your saying a low velocity arrow will penetrate ceph armour when a high velocity super-sonic bullet won't?
I hope there will be more night levels. I've missed night levels in Crysis 2. Seriously, you can build great atmospheres when the level plays at night. Just like the beginning in Crysis 1 where Aztec gets attacked. I don't understand why there was only one til three night levels in part 2. Not enough.
Another great track:
So your saying a low velocity arrow will penetrate ceph armour when a high velocity super-sonic bullet won't?
I'm sure strength mode would accommodate for that.
I only want for the hut's to return. Forced entry through the roofs of thoose was fun as all hell
I'm sure strength mode would accommodate for that.
That's a good point actually having a bow so stiff you need to drain the maximum strength to get more power from each shot.
I have no idea what to feel about this right now. I'd be perfectly happy if this was an expansion (ie. Warhead) to 2, but since it's a full-fledged game (which might be the end of the series), I have serious doubts.
Leaked promo screenie, new Ceph units. Vehicles maybe?
Arsenal Gear? Also dem tanks look cool. Don't think he has a bow on his back though.
hopefully the game will actually have cutscenes like warhead did, they were really well made and one of the biggest improvements of the original crysis. crysis 2's loading screen cutscenes were just plain boring

that big thing in the background kind of looks like the ceph ship from the first game
Powerstruggle was close to perfect IMO. The only thing I'd change in crysis wars would be having multiple good guns instead of the SCAR dominating. Also some maps such as mesa were too big but the smaller ones like plantation are perfect.
Nah, the problem with power struggle was that 32 people wasn't enough. It'd be one person trying to conquer something by themselves and if they're lucky, they had someone watching their backs. Worst case scenario is there's a tank outside the bunker you're hiding in and you have no antitank weaponry
Oh this looks awesome now.
Maybe we are using a bow because it's a cool looking weapon.
They're also silent, making them ideal for stealth gameplay. Uncloak, switch to strength mode (or just have strength be the default), fuck some dude up, cloak.
