Arsenal Gear?
Also dem tanks look cool.
Don't think he has a bow on his back though.
No he's got a gauss gun and some smaller weapon, either a carbine, a SMG or a shotgun.
Leaked promo screenie, new Ceph units. Vehicles maybe?

Yay, the spiky Ceph are back!
Ceph tanks?
The only thing I won't forget in Crysis 2 are the mass destruction sequences. When you get on that highway and the entire thing collapses! And then at the end [sp]when the entire earth heaves with an alien force to create floating islands![/sp]
I forgot them, pre-rendered destruction is extremely easy to forget
hopefully the game will actually have cutscenes like warhead did, they were really well made and one of the biggest improvements of the original crysis. crysis 2's loading screen cutscenes were just plain boring
I'd rather have no cutscenes - those first-person cutscenes in Crysis 2 were infuriating.
also crysis 2 was too easy once you had all the bullshit upgrades
I forgot them, pre-rendered destruction is extremely easy to forget
Spectacle is spectacle, and spectacle is not something easily ignored, or forgotten.
Do not want. Scrap the new york setting, thanks.

Really diggin' the rusty ceph there
So what has happened with the Ceph is the past 22 years? Are they mostly defeated now or what?

Holy shit, if it's going to look like that, I'm most likely getting it.
Nice. I like how New York looks now. Im a fan of movies like I am Legend, so I like how it is right now.
Story:
You play as Prophet and it's the year 2047. (24 years after the happenings in Crysis 2)
You'll be able to use a bow and to upgrade it. You are also using a better nano suit.
You'll be able to use alien technology as well.
After his return, Prophet notices that the corrupted CELL organisation has created a giant dome at the Big Apple.
That Liberty City Dome is a giant urban, tropic forest, with overgrown tree areas, tight swamps and lurid rivers.
The internal has 7 dangerous areas that have become popular as the "7 wonders."
It's supposed to come out early next year, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Another Screen:

What I would like to know is if the other places have been activated.
I was skeptical at first but those screenshots look sexy as fuck.
"You are also using a better nano suit."
Nanosuit 3?
Some of those screenshots are wallpaper worthy.
this shit better have procedural destruction and day one dx11 support
How does the story make sense? You destroyed Cell in Crysis 2 and the game ends with the aliens starting to die off.

I'm wondering the same thing...
let me be able to throw turtles around and i'll be happy
I'd imagine Karl Ernst Rasch is going to be a major character in this one, as was just introduced to you at the very end of Crysis 2.
How does the story make sense? You destroyed Cell in Crysis 2 and the game ends with the aliens starting to die off.
24 years is a long time. Anything could have happened within that time.
Alcatraz and Prophet still sharing the suit. I'm guessing that Prophet still needs a "body" to get around. I'm quoting body since there wasn't much Alky left at the end of Legion with the suit routing his (and Prophets) thoughts and providing a souped up alternative life support. That and the suit consumed most of Alkys organs and skin for energy.
On the other hand Hargreave was going to use the suit himself and he was a face on the computerscreen, has been for a long long time.
Oh and just because the Ceph were wiped out, doesnt mean their masters were. See, the Ceph were just house-sitters/gardeners...or maybe even the gardeners' tools. So there is plenty more galaxy left to throw at Prophet.
How does the story make sense? You destroyed Cell in Crysis 2 and the game ends with the aliens starting to die off.
While I can't explain the Aliens, I thought Cell was owned by the Hargreave&Rasch corporation. So it would only be fitting when Karl Ernst Rasch was introduced at the end of C2, that Cell actually wasn't entirely destroyed.

You only destroyed one of their "bases" which killed of that bases cell. There probably still are cell from the other places on earth.
I still don't forgive them for not bringing back the characters from Crysis 1.
But one sentence would make me entirely happy and the reason to definitely buy Crysis 3:
"Psycho will reappear in Crysis 3"
Yes I know. Daydreaming, but still. I hope they bring back Borislav Slavov to compose the soundtrack.
He did a good job for C2.
Well the Ceph where wiped out of New York but there are still a lot of different places on Earth with Ceph tower things underneath them.
Well the Ceph where wiped out of New York but there are still a lot of different places on Earth with Ceph tower things underneath them.
Yeah, in OTHER PLACES. Doesn't explain how we get a ZOO in Crysis 3, in the same city we fought so hard to retake.
Then again it's probably simpler for them to just "redo" the city from the previous.

CELL lost personel, equipment and a very important figure while fighting aliens, the US army, and Alcatraz. So... they come back in Crysis 3 to a place were in the 2nd game we wiped the Ceph out... because?
i'm going to be pissed if they make prophet mute in the game, they have no excuse this time. he was always a vocal character
also, bring back prone
How does the story make sense? You destroyed Cell in Crysis 2 and the game ends with the aliens starting to die off.
Crysis 2 ending spoilers
[sp]New York was only one of the tens of places the Ceph were dug-in, and they planned staggered invasions so maybe they "won" elsewhere and then some went back to New York, probably abandoned after the initial invasion.[/sp]

I so would not even use a gun in the game, i'd just use the bow the entire damn game.
