[t]http://i.imgur.com/Pugci.jpg[/t] Yay the same shitty enemies that were boring as fuck to fight in Crysis 2.
New York again. Hmmm. 2's ending, which [sp]revealed the fact that the Ceph has dug under several major cities worldwide[/sp], kinda got me expecting a globetrotting plot. Or at least one set in another city. I mean, they explored the NY-setting in 2. And you fought for the city throughout the whole game, so returning feels kinda cheap. It's nice to see some vegetation again though :) That's my impression thus far at least. I'm sure everything will make sense once I play it, or maybe not- Crytek hasn't really delivered any solid narrative nor taken previous installments into consideration too much (what happened to the Crysis 1 guys?)

Still, bows and arrows? That sounds fun.

I am hopeful Crytek has learned from their mistakes in Crysis 2, and intend to give us an awesome Crysis 3.
In Crysis 2 it was 'quantity over quality', the AI was pretty terrible even on highest difficulty level.
To be honest, it seems like they're just reusing assets here and doing some minor tweaks and then releasing it as a new crysis game. I hoped for a new location.
I still don't understand why he has a bow , are they trying to appeal to the Turok audience or something? I dunno about you but I'm pretty sure a machine gun can do more damage than a bloody bow.
Honestly my biggest gripe with C2 was the shooting. It wasn't nearly as tight as it was in the first game, and I hated the streamlined suit (which is what I think contributes mostly to the lack "tightness"). I also absolutely hated how the suit would just override your control. I get it that you want to show me where every single bit of the map is, but fucking let me do it myself. I didn't pay money just for the game to play itself for me.

Nice private video you've got there.
Nice private video you've got there.
I don't know. It works for me.
I don't know. It works for me.
Yeah it worked for me as well. Maybe its regional. Are you in north america right now?
Could someone rip the video and reupload it somewhere?
Leaked promo screenie, new Ceph units. Vehicles maybe?
One of the guys at Crytek said that this pic is fake.
Stretched.
Now we know why it's stretched, it's the official cover: [t]http://media1.gameinformer.com/imagefeed/featured/electronic-arts/crysis3/crysis3pcpftfront.jpg[/t]
"You are also using a better nano suit." Nanosuit 3?
If N3, then it's not Alcatraz. Alcy's kind of stuck in N2 after being turned to mush and nerves.

i like the mid evil future tech thing they got going on
I don't really like it, not the iconic Crysis cover image.
Well, it looks like they are using both covers.
I don't really like it, not the iconic Crysis cover image.
Except for this I find it quite cool.
Crytek should fire their writers out of a cannon and get some new ones. Seriously, 24 years? Wow, not lazy at all.
Could it possibly that hes using a bow because ammo/working guns is getting scarce? I mean most the human population is decimated and can not make a ton of ammo like before. Unless Prophet decides to learn how to make ammo and does it in his spare time. 24 years of constant shooting from a group of people could pretty much take out all the ammo in a large vicinity.
I thought Prophet was dead
He is. And also sort of in Alcatraz/N2.

I actually expected that by the last game of the trilogy the character would fight the Ceph all around the world at different places, or at least not in NY. That was pretty much the point of the last flashback in C2.

They changed the box art quite a lot with Crysis 2 I think, so no doubt it will be made to the usual guy looking behind him thing.
So far this looks like Crysis 2 in an even more destroyed New York, except you get a bow!!!!!1!1! Unless they throw in the old characters or something this is gonna be a total push over imo.
