It was ok. Moving is confusing.
The first level was alright, I got that lady mad at me for trying to comfort her. Then this guy goes and beats her, then I kick his ass and escape with a cut lip.
2nd level was wrong. Out of all the evidence I found, the Dead Cat was the most helpful, not the dead person. Can't they see the cat tried to murder the man, and the man killed the cat in self defense, and then he died from blood loss? The Origami and ORchid is easy to explain, the cat put them there, because it wasted one life, it still has 8 left.
In all seriousness I enjoyed the first part, better.

It was fucking brilliant. I loved it, the controls were so smooth and the presentation was amazingly slick. The graphics were absolutely amazing, and I love how in the cut-scenes it switched to higher quality models with better lighting for an ever BETTER look. This is what Indigo was trying to do, and this is how it is pulled off well.
The first level was awesome, and I recommend playing through at least twice to see the amounts of different stuff you can do, and waiting a bit can make for a different outcome (for example, wait before going in the room the second time and then look at the girl's face).
The second one was how investigations SHOULD have been implemented in Indigo. I'm guessing you investigate more than one scene in this game, and the glasses thing was really cool. You can find out a lot of stuff.
I loved it, can't wait for the full game, should be absolutely amazing.
only played the first bit, the tutorial.
so far it seems they executed it nicely, which was my main concern when details were first released. however, the facial animations and expressions are really, uh...lacking. other than that, it's pretty good. i have to finish off the demo before i decide whether or not it's worth my money, though.
demo was awesome! Really liked the fat private detective. However the super matrix glasses were strange.

No, I tried not to. But what is awesome is that your actions in the fight constitute what you do when you leave.

I played through and did, it was quite awesome watching how EVERY one of the button press things could change from you winning to him winning. And how you opened the door changes the beginning of the fight (if you batter it in he slams you into the door, if you knock again, you get the upperhand).
And I loved seeing how beat up your guy gets, his face gets fucked up. I won every button thing my first try (save for when my friend tried swatting the controller from my hand), and my guy came out with only a bruised lip, the girl asked if I was okay and I said "sure a helluva lot better than the other guy".
And if you wait to go save the girl, she has visual bruises on her face.

I did not think that Heavy Rain would be fun at all, just press some buttons and watch cutscenes. Well.. it IS that but they did it well. I love it!

1st time I won the fight, annihilating him
2nd time I lost every button one and my guy was battered
But the interesting thing is, when I lost every button one I don't think he pulled the glass bottle out.
So I wonder can you die if he stabs you with the bottle?
And also, can you walk away and leave the prostitute in the room instead of saving her?
I'm not the only one who noticed that the girl at the apartment is the girl from the very first Heavy Rain trailer, right?

What do you mean by "turn out?" Quantic Dream made Indigo/Farenheight, and Quantic made Heavy Rain. People are calling it a sequel to Indigo but that's silly. I was hoping that we could have gotten to play as Ethan or that one fight scene that involves the girl...Madison. Where she is in nightclothes and burgalers break in. I was disapoint. (not!)

Well in the second level you get some kind of super glasses and one glove that can detect DNA traces. You press R1, and it scans the area like a sonar.

I got a code, but it keeps telling me my code is invalid? How the hell do you get the demo? It gives me a four digit sequence for the second group (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), but I guess PSN requires a three-digit code (XXXX-XXX-XXXX). What the hell? I even registered using the correct United States URL.

Nevermind, it's working.
Played the demo last Friday, I think the voice acting is a little bit stale but otherwise the game is quite interesting and fun.
