The FBI agent is a drug addict. I think the blue thing he reaches for in the car are drugs.
no it's a fancy glow stick because he's addicted to speed and ecstasy and loves to rave
What is Heavy Rain? i haven't done any research on it. It looks to be nothing more than a soap-opera.

Think of Se7en the video game.

soap-opera with crime scene investigating, film noir-esque cutscenes, a serial signature murder, and pretty awful mouth animations.
i like it, i just can't get around how terrible the mouth animations are. it makes the voice acting seem worse (with the prostitute, well, she was actually bad, but everyone else was at least decent for most of the time)
Norman Jayden has some weird speech impediment on certain words. Pretty strange.

Not at all.
I didn't expect much from the game until I played the demo. Wow, that was brilliant.
Game get's a 7/10 on Dtoid:

Mostly because apparently the plot itself is really bad/predictable, voice acting is bad, and most of the "choices"/consequence in the game are fake ones (your characters can only die/affect the story at very specific points, for the rest of the game you can just put the controller down during action sequences and have it not matter to the character's progression/plot if you get all the button presses right or wrong).
But the ideas are good and the set-piece moments in the game are really exciting to play through according to the reviewer.
7 is okay. Despite any review, I'll still play it.

Well Jim Sterling wrote it. I like him but he has a desire to be the edgiest reviewer around.
