DMC has been shit since three. Like, 4 was virtually unplayable, it was so boring and uninspired. Complete trash.
A clone of the series with a new coat of paint and a bit more style to it sounds fun, provided somewhere along the line someone looked at making the gameplay fresh again it seems like it ought to be a blast.

It's not though. Being dissmisive like that gets you no where.
What is it with anime? It seems like the only thing that differentiates different universes is the silly little things that the creators come up with so that anime fans will go "OMG thats so cool!", for example, having guns attached to your high heels or being able to attack people with your hair.
They're just gimmicks - special moves that differ from those in other games only in appearance and the trivial details. This looks like just another generic fighting game which doesn't seem to bring anything revolutionary to the table.
