I played with a WD that was spamming the chat in Russian. I first politely asked him if he could speak English so the rest of the team could understand what he was saying. After a while of him continuing to spamming Russian I got pissed off and told him to either shut up or go to the Russian server. he then gets all butthurt and try to talk English which ends up in some non comprehensive sentences and then he afk in base and fuck around with courier when someone in the team needed to use it. He then goes to feed. we lost with like 10 to 60.
I had a situation once where someone on my team had to leave, and one guy disconnected. Two more followed, and Skeleton King afk'd in base just stayed to feed the 3 leavers to the enemy team. I didn't realize it at first until he started feeding himself. I was playing Pudge, was getting really fed and might have had a chance if SK didn't do that. I got commends from the other team too. I reported that Skeleton King, no action taken.
I have no idea what is wrong with Russians in DOTA. I just don't get it.
1) Two professional russians going 0-15 as OD and 3-11 as Pudge, then calling the rest of the team "fuckn noobs )))".
2) (Russian) Razor not putting a single point into Unstable Current, then buying Daedalus+Hyperstone and feeding.
3) Our mate disconnects due to a bluescreen, enemy Rooftrellen pretends that he'd have him on Skype and told everybody that he wouldn't ever come back. He then proceeded to unpause instantly while insulting us.

Why is it nearly every OD I see is terrible except myself and a few select people in the med-high pool?

Probably because people don't realize how fragile he is and how much farm he needs. Most players fuck around roaming unsuccessfully, then lack the utility items and +INT to both keep them alive and do damage.

Pretty much that. I see retards use Sanity's Eclipse like it's nobody's business on heroes like [b]Pugna[/b] or Lich and nothing gets done.
Doesn't that sort of work? If they don't take threshold damage doesn't it rape their mana pool instead, essentially leaving them fucked?
I love laning against ursa's who think "lol im ursa bitch i am bullshit hero" and start tower diving expecting free kills and end up feeding because they think there is no counter.

if the target has same or more int than OD it does [b]nothing[/b]
also the threshold is huge at lvl 3 (50 int), meaning you're more likely to drain their mana than actually hurt them, unless you stack int like crazy.

This fed shadow fiend got overconfident and used boots of travel on a creep on our base when our whole team was around him, he tried to ulti but I used the lift move with rubick, stole his ult and killed him with it. It was pretty funny but we still lost.

Yes, it will but if the OD does not stack intelligence, then it will do nothing to intelligence heroes who are buying intelligence items to stack it and get more mana. Therefore these heroes will not be affected by a Sanity's Eclipse from low intel OD, which is why players who don't know how to play him do horrendous. The chance to burn a player's mana from a decent OD should be slim to none, unless it's Pugna(4 int gain per level why)

I usually never drain mana, since I go Int Power Treads, then Force Staff, then Rod of Atos, then Scythe of Vyse, Shiva's guard, and finally Scepter. Then if I get more fed I will switch out an item for a second scythe. I've found that draining mana just doesn't work on carries since most if not all are DPS heroes and aren't casters.

Played with broodmother who maxed bite and webs first, completely ignored spiderlings for whole game and took stats, we also had a clinkz who went strafe and stats, then searing arrows and got skeleton walk last and a nature's prophet who did that weird ass build where you get no boots early game and rush dagon and he solo'd mid, expecting free kills but he maxed teleportation and stats first. What the fuck? So is low priority. Every time i got charged by spirit breaker (i was phantom assassin) and my whole team was there 1v5 they all run off to base. Low priority fucking sucks.
Just played with a 4 carry team. I was OD, and I was on some good killing spree when I decided to go top and fuck up Death Prophet and Huskar. I ping at Husk two times, see a Sniper who's going towards the turret, look at almost dead from jungling Ursa, and I figure out that Sniper should probably help me. I Imprison DP so she won't interrupt and go kill Husk. Turns out, Sniper went back to base so I died. But hey, I got a kill anyways.
After that, Sniper goes to my lane (mid) and stars pushing it. I tell him - dude, don't push. He says that he will just stay around the turret and do nothing.

Whenever I get into low priority i just don't play that day. Basically it's free losses and you cant even get items or BP.
Just played with a BH that refused to ult riki because he wouldn't be able to kill him anyways, he built no damage items, only stats. He built tranquil boots and vlads first of all.

alright so im playing lone druid, getting nice farm solo, get 25 min-ish radiance and continue farming. my team gets mad and tells me to push(against a NP and dirge/nevermore with Boots of travel) and stop farming, saying "you arent anti mage/ spectre" even going as far as calling Lone Druid a non carry, but should radiance rush.
few tidbits, IDK if this is the new meta but mid alchemist, while we had a batrider bottom. and Axe rushed AC, no blink.
By a show of hands, Lone Druid is infact a hard carry or have I been lied to? cuz for these guys it was just push by melting the towers with radiance.

I think of him more as a ganker, but he can indeed carry very well. Although I play top with Sylla.
