So I spent half a match arguing with a brazilian over who should buy wards. "carry no need buy ward he carry only supp buy ward nobod buy ward but suppor jaja."
I think a support should buy the ward over the carry.
I once played a long, intense game. In the end, we decided to go for a base race. Our KOTL said that we should double rax and THEN go for the throne, we lost because of that. I was the KOTL. I felt so fucking dumb and mad at myself after that game.
Just had that type of prophet. The one who farms jungle and does nothing else. He even said "Just give me 15 mins of free farm jungle and we win" Wasnt surprised by first item agghanims, mjloneer to follow. No midas, maxed sprout over TP.
You do realize midas is only effective before the 10 minute mark or more importantly the 5 minute mark? Midas isn't even really core on NP...
You do realize midas is only effective before the 10 minute mark or more importantly the 5 minute mark? Midas isn't even really core on NP...
Yeah, agree 100%. Usually grab a glove as my first item at around 2 minutes, then only build Midas if I can do it by 7 minutes. Otherwise I just turn it into Power Treads.
Cool Story Bro.
What the fuck are you doing.
You do realize midas is only effective before the 10 minute mark or more importantly the 5 minute mark? Midas isn't even really core on NP...
If you get a Midas by the 5 minute mark then thats really impressive, thats getting a few kills before the 5 minute mark and having a perfect jungle. So 5 isnt really something that happens, its normally 7 minutes, unless you just go straight midas which is pretty dumb since you really only miss 1 transmute if you get it at 7 minutes instead of 5. If you jungle prophet, might as well get the 7 minute midas since it really helps with gold and especially xp if you lane then dont. Also that doesnt excuse Sprout over TP or first item agghanims, you can get a medallion+treads and take down rosh with steam incredibly early and set up really good ganks because of the early -6 armor, then usually get sheep, mek if you are the more support role.
I think a support should buy the ward over the carry.
Yeah of course, but his argument was that nobody is permitted to buy wards unless they are a support, no exceptions.
I'm playing vengeful spirit, and faceless void casts chronosphere trapping almost our whole team (except me and disruptor) and I netherswap with lifestealer (our only hardcarry) to save him "wtf venge ur supposed to swap with void, fucking noob" - lifestealer
I know that feel.
every time someone on my team randoms and gets pugna, he does horrible and we lose One pugna kept auto attacking and using his w right when I'm about to finish someone off. I'm going for a last auto-attack, no mana, and bang. He w's him. The other pugna kept trying to rush the tower constantly, never bought support items, and tried being a carry
When people unintentionally feed early game, then their team tells them to be more careful, and they flip out and accuse the team of acting like they're better than him. Not to mention I find it strange that people tell others to "go back to LoL," meanwhile I feel like there is a reason everyone is playing dota instead of LoL in the first place I played with a Nyx Assassin recently who obviously did not know how to play him as you could tell by his end score, but reassured the other team of their sexual orientation and the fact that he indeed has had intercourse with all their mothers. When I told him to stop he only fed more and told me to "go back to LoL u fukin nerd i dont need this gay shit" then disconnected. Sometimes its so satisfying to report lol
Spirit breaker who would charge someone who was running back to base , diving into their barracks around 10 mins in and then he would cry about team not helping, he would charge 1v5 and complain about team who was on other side of the map pushing, I said "please tell our team when you are going to charge instead of rampaging about it" He said "lol no urn for you" He ended the game 5-15, and i was VS 5-6, then he says "gg my team sucks i was best here"
4v5 and we we're doing pretty good defending, we lost all our towers except our creep barrack towers while they had all of theirs in all lanes. We held them off so good that they're down to only their creep towers and- ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT, THAT ACTUALLY WOULD OF BEEN THE BEST COMEBACK IN THE HISTORY OF DOTA IF WE DIDN'T HAVE YOU, YOU LOBOTOMIZED FEEDING MORON. Don't let those 24 assists fool you, he did nothing of value the entire 67 minutes of time I just wasted. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] I am never going to be able to let this down.
how did NP only have a magic wand?
how did NP only have a magic wand?
4v5, presumably nature's was the 1 that dropped
how did NP only have a magic wand?
They sold his shit.
About the 3rd Tinker I've seen buying Arcane boots, this one used TP Scrolls as a replacement for BoT. Worst thing is I fed him enough kills to buy a BoT at 10 minutes, but he turns his boots into an Arcane Boots. That same game had a Chen on my team who rushed Radiance and never used his nuke except for getting the last hit. We still won though.
Windrunner that didn't even have an assist and gave them 6 kills, and on the same game, a Pudge who just hooked in creeps, killed one guy somehow and gave them 12 kills. He never turned off rot even when near death against 2 enemy heroes and even died from creeps while they were sieging our base. Or at least I think thats the way he died. On the same game, a Lina who couldn't land LSA, and a Lion who used his ulti once or twice in a 24min game. One of those times, he could have caught and killed someone with it even, and no, he wasn't out of mana or on cooldown. And then, probably the worst feeding I've ever seen... A Bloodseeker on radiant who, right at the start of the match, went mid, stopped right in the center of the map where the mid creeps fight, and did literally nothing while our Lina auto-attacked him. This went on for another 3 more kills. Ended feeding us 21 kills and somehow had 1 assist. His inventory was the best aswell. 2 pairs of Boots of Speed. I shit you not, nothing else other than those two pairs of boots. When the game was 2 mins away from ending or so, he finally left :v: Everyone probably reported him. I don't know what was the deal with him. Technical problems, no experience playing, trolling, I don't know. He was just awful. Its beyond me how his most successful hero is Pudge and how the match before he did well with him.
Its beyond me how his most successful hero is Pudge and how the match before he did well with him.
Two easy answers: dumb siblings or unknowing friend over.
I had this Disruptor who refused to buy courier / wards and told us he isn't a support and played the entire game as a wannabe hard-carry.
I had this Juggernaut that never pushed and then reported our entire team for pushing. I ... what ?
I just played this match where Nyx Assassin, Lifestealer and Faceless Void would do pretty much nothing, well apart from feed. Except Void.. Around the middle of the match, when we were more or less lossing but still had a chance, He did something. He ult'd me, an ally and the enemy we were chasing to KS. The enemy team took the chance and destroyed us. We were never able to recover from it. Quote from him: "worth it" Then he used his ult two more times, both times caugth the enemy pudge using rot and managed to get himself killed with it... Well, atleast I got an item from that match: A mace for Faceless Void.

Maybe not even 5 minutes after the game had started, she died from a few hits and my strength sapping skill as Dirge. She tried to run, and I sapped her at the edge of skill radius. Her response after dying twice? "FACK YOUR MOTHERS"
I had to re-read this because you said MAZE
Me making a typo? Impocivle! Now back on topic: I just played a match of DotA in WC3 with an Ally techies.. who would kill himself to kill creeps. It's a curse!
You'll be seeing a lot of those once they come out "Ooh, what's this button do? If he is in the enemy's: step out of fountain. blow up.
just played a game where we lost because a sand king wouldn't leave the top lane because "i always die in mid, you guys can push but im gonna try and push top more" we seriously had no other option but to push mid, and this guy had the brass to just stay top because he's died in mid before? it made me so mad

Playing as juggernaut, wasn't doing that great but not as badly as this NP and this brewmaster who kept saying I was crap. Funny because half the kills brewmaster had were thanks to me lowering the enemie's health to almost 0 and brewmaster basically last hitting them and NP always TP'd right into a tag team of heroes. Gave them 5 free kills like that. NP was either brazilian or portuguese because I understood a few things he said other than "THIS JUGG SUUUUX" and raging whenever someone told him to push towers, which he never did. Brewmaster also complained about me and when I countered with my huge number of assists that gave him and just about everyone in the team some kills, he said he was an initiator and only initiated fights. In short: I was the worst player in the team despite having the most kills and assists and NP and brew having fed the enemy. We lost, but I feel like we could have won easily. It took them like 5 tries to start sieging the last 2 towers and we had already reached their barracks but oh well. Seems like everyone overall wasn't that great.
Had a Chen go suicide lane with me (I'm Windrunner pls go) but still got Holy Persuasion. Never used it once. Didn't touch his ult either. "300 heal is nothing noob stfu."
this naga siren thought she was invincible whenever she had me ensnared I was juggernaut, so I press q, and...
