i really hate when you are playing a hard carry role and you're team keeps bitching at you to start ganking.
i was playing jugg and got my bfury really fast and just disappeared into to jungle to farm while my team bitched at me (even though we weren't losing towers or getting horrifically ganked). when i had finished farming i pretty much 1v5ed the enemy team with a perfect ult and steamrolled to victory.

NP/Dirge(me)/Lanaya/Pudge/Drow vs BH/Riki/Beastmaster/Invoker/Juggernaut
My team apparently didn't think Pudge wasn't enough for mid, so they got Lanaya aswell. Pudge went top with Drow and NP went jungle, so it was me vs beastmaster and riki on bot.
Actually didn't do too bad there, but after that it was just a land slide...
Lanaya got gem and maybe a minute later lost it in a horrible team fight, and everyone just kept dying. We only did somewhat well once when we set down some wards but the rest of the times they still managed to silence and kill us.
BH and Riki just fucked everything up, coming out of nowhere in a snap. Somehow, I was the only one to even get to 5 kills. Just said fuck it and left after the invoker dc'ed and our NP also left.
We looked like cochroaches in team fights, running in circles while they threw their shit at us...

If you're just gonna AFK farm jungle, play Anti Mage. Go ruin some supports day with your ult. Only if the opportunity arises of course. Use your healing ward for pushes.
I was playing razor and this necrolyte literally followed me around all game just to steal my kills

I use plasma field to kill the guy before the scythe hits him

I was playing with a Chen/Pudge combo who tried to do that fountain hooks like in videos. But the either fucked up the tp timing or hooked a creep. So approximately every 10th try was succesful. (Not to mention they were horribly underlevelled midgame)
This Naga Siren that thought her ultimate was some sort of epic ravage that lasted 10 seconds, that didn't know she could cancel it early, and kept making the mistake all game long.
We lost about 3 teamfights like that.

Once you get bottle+boots its a good idea to gank unless you're farming really well and you need the farm.

It's still hard to gank in mid sometimes though, when both top and bottom are pushed like hell and it's annoying when they scream at you to gank in these scenarios
Or when you're coming to gank and the sidelane players try to initiate too early and then blame you.
Is it just me or is Pudge the equivalent to 360 noscopes?
It's as if retards pick him to try and be pro, and then end up failing horribly.
On the other hand, one of the last games I played had a pretty good Pudge, who hid in the jungle and pulled my teammates at the precise moment like in a horror movie when someone is pulled away by the monster, and pulling his teammates out of danger.
It's curious how all the shit Pudges are total assholes and all the good ones are bros.

Not all mids gank, it depends on how the lane is going.
If i'm Tiny of course i'll go ganking. But if i'm Drow and dead even with a enemy tinker, i need to stay there whenever he is there to stop him form getting freefarm. If I go ganking, even if i'm sucessful the enemy will probably have a level or two advantage over you.
I'm not saying mids SHOULDN'T gank, but mids shouldn't be expected to ALWAYS gank.

Still you said tinker. Once you get boots and bottle with him it should be a good idea to gank since his nukes are still very strong

I agree that Nyx is more of a ganker hero, but he can carry as well.
I've seen someone try to build Jakiro into a carry, so Nyx doesn't really surprise me.
Jakiro has a passive that gives his right click more damage, obviously a carry
Was in a game yesterday with a friend who randomed venge and ended up with a bucket load of gold from several early ganks that went nearly perfectly. He built a medallion at about 11 minutes, and at about 12 minutes he walked by lycan and used it on the a creep lycan was attacking on his way to gank again.
The Lycan immediately raged in all chat about how he was going to build a medallian, fuck VS for stopping him from doing it, and then abandoned the game.
I've seen some really stupid shit in this game, some of it my own. This is quite probably the single dumbest exchange I have ever witnessed.
I saw a Dark Seer yesterday that seemed to be against discussing what was going on in the game or against common useful tactics.
Bloodseeker was countering BH because he would be caught with low hp so he'd get true sight on him, and the guy playing gondar didn't knew about it and started to ask how he could see him and who, if anyone, had a gem. Dark Seer went nuts saying "stop overanalyzing everything!" and just went on like that through the whole game.
I was sand king and it usually helps not being in the direct line of sight or path of the enemy before ulti and blink. I said I'd flank and channel, he'd just go "no, no tricks, everyone go straight into them!".
But the best part was the beggining. We got ganked by tinker and bloodseeker had started to make his true sight useful. As I already said, Gondar started asking how did bs see him, but then seer asked "omg do you know what runes are? do you?"
I have no idea whatsoever why he asked that. And it seems all he did through the game was rage and maybe actually make a presence just a couple of times.
Game before that, skeleton king that had daedalus and said it stacked on his passive critical.
He was also dead serious and sure it worked, despite everyone telling him that it didn't work not even in the original dota.
just had a game where a spirit breaker fed all game, giving 24 kills to the enemy team
then the enemy team had the nerve to say "really good game" at the end, i was so fucking mad
people are showing common courtesy, ban this sick filth ;___;
I once told a noob jugg (that I happened to play with) that the healing ward actually kills enemies.
He kept harrassing shit with the ward.

I told my team I'm going Tinker mid, Missle Laser ganker style. 7 successful ganks and forcing 2 enemies to the fountain in 10 minutes, I realise "boy, that Shadow Fiend sure is farming up a storm in mid." So I ask the Pudge who is solo top (dire) to come give me a hand with this Shadow Fiend. Pudge and Axe start rambling on about how I lost mid and how I fed SF (SF is 0/0/0). Pudge refuses to leave top, Axe refuses to leave jungle. I ask the Bane to come gank Shadow Fiend (It's really not that fucking hard he has like 750 hp at level 10) and he says "Don't tell me what to do noob."
Shadow Fiend carried the game. My team became all chat warriors about how I lose mid as a Tinker. I was called bad for asking a Pudge to gank. Let that sink in.
