Weaver: "all you do is ks heroes with ulti"
Lich (me): "uhm so?"
Weaver: "you are support, I am carry, I need the kills"
Lich: "well my ulti DOES kill, and I AM a nuker"
Weaver: "doesn't matters, I am carry"
Lich: "if I don't kill, neither do you, and just let them escape"
What a stupid match. I support like the best stuff I have ever done probably and he still complains.
Pudge commits suicide twice and feeds 12 kills, but still helps at least a little
Weaver whines that I steal kills when he can't kill for shit and lets everyone get away
Not to mention the russians that only speak russian. They got some kills, but not even laying a Lv.3 sceptered ulti on them would be enough for my russian teammates to kill...
Just a question...
What in this post is dumb? I have the weird feeling I was the dumb one here, which is somewhat weird.
If you're waiting for all of them to get low, and casting it at the end of a fight then you're retarded.
If the opposite, he is.
Nope, basically, I initiated with long range ulti'ing and with the weaker nuke, and then they attacked.
Problem is, the weaver ran at the sight of ANY damage at all on him and through all the match, all I saw from him was Shukuchi and ONE swarm. Nothing else. Shukuchi just about always and one, and only one swarm.
In short, if I didn't do anything, he would do even less than he had done. I "ks'ed" because neither did he have the power to kill anything at all, nor would he even put the effort into doing so.
First kills in the game were mine because I actually did something other than staying back and throwing pebbles.
Bloodstone Lich.
Because Lich has a mana problem.
Russian teammate. Did nothing but hook me out of teamfights, hook me INTO teamfights, hook me into a trap, hook me further into a trap, and one time, hooked a lifestealer to me and then just kinda fucked off to let me die. I was a support veno.
Мое судно на воздушной подушке полно угрей
playing a match with some "friends", suddenly single draft and I choose sand king who I must point out ive never played and now realize he is very very fun.
Me and my lane buddy Juggernaut shut down bottom lane with an early double kill first blood, but then our main damage dealer weaver dies so much with an excuse every time: "omg thats bullshit" "i used my ulti, cmon" "I was stunned for how long omg" but he believed his deaths didnt matter because our naix was so farmed, and they began to call GG extremely early. the problem was naix was farming too much and eventually ursa got aegis and smashed our faces off, repeatedly and eventually pushed to win.
even his team agreed that they werent doing so hot early, but that was no excuse for my "friends" to start talking trash so early when at that point no win was decided for us. I need better people to play with.
This match..
I was playing as Tinker in mid against a Shadow Demon, everything was fine in general.
Then Faceless Void decided to move mid to "not ruin his lane phase".
Took all my last hits, and leeched exp saying "it's shado demon it's not that bad". Then void proceeds to died to him.
No matter how many times I told him he refused to leave. I think it was pure idiotic impulse that he did it at first, but then he continued just to piss me off, doing crappy trolling, using his ult so the enemy Clinks could destroy me, etc.
Around the end, when it was imposible to win Void left saying "gg team not worth carrying".
I still don't understand why would he do this, what's the point?

I've seen a lich get mana boots
It's not a horrible decision, but certainly is not the best one.
I was level 2 bounty hunter at the start of the game and sand king joined my lane. we were okay then while im back at the tower, he pushes forward with his stun and i run to go help (he didnt say or do ANYTHING to let me know he wanted to gank) he gets obliterated and soon starts flipping his shit at me that i need to help. so he goes to the jungle and starts stealing lifestealer's jungle. he literally did nothing all game, but luckily the rest of us got our shit together and made the other team quit. Also why dont most shadow fiend use morbid mask. almost every fiend i have seen that uses it benefit greatly from it.

Because he's too pro for you silly noobs.
Dual mid and killing your lane partner is a pro void tactic, also Shadow Demon can't do anything, he's a weak hero, not like Strong Void.

I always get Arcane Boots as Lich :S
I use it to spam the shit out of frost nova, and support heroes like Tiny, Pudge, Morphling, Sven etc early on.
OT:
I was playing Treant Protector, Lycan was jungling.
I had to solo top.
Lycan didn't start jungling before level 3.
What the fuck.
How the fuck can a Lycan be so fucking stupid that he can't fucking jungle at level 1, leaving a poor tree extremely weak against Sven + Sand King. (Spoiler: I died)

You really really really really do not need mana items as Lich. Sacrifice is an incredibly powerful skill that will restore >50% of your mana until the very late game (where you'll have a fairly big mana pool and will be dying 5 seconds into every teamfight anyway). If you're not maxing Sacrifice nearly as fast as possible then you're not really playing Lich right.

I alternate between nova (1, 3, 5, 7) and sacrifice.
But I tend to spam the Frost Nova A LOT, driving them completely out of lane, so I rush arcane boots both for the support value and the spam.
Yeah I spam nova a lot too but tbh Tranquils are a much better pickups - cheaper, easier buildup and between their heal and Sacrifice you never have to leave lane again.

Sometimes though you need them for your team, not yourself. You are, after all, a support.

I hate ursa so much because of that... If you don't shut him down early in game and let him get aegis, you are pretty much fucked most of the times.
Much of the times because I'm sure you and your team wont be able to do anything to him and his.
Speaking of ursa, we had one that probably had no idea of what the hell he was doing.
Fed 9 deaths, like a blind cochroach around the map. There was this part in a team fight where a teammate was left behind fighting an enemy hero, and ursa came to him, NOT to help, but to kill the creep a few meters away... He then got killed aswell by the enemy that overpowered his teammate.
We won because the other team consisted of only a Kunkka basically, and then literaly, since the whole Dire rage quitted.

I looked at the replay. It looks like Void tried to kill the enemy team in bot around the 1-2 minute of the match, and got himself killed, then blamed Beastmaster for it since "he didn't aid him". He got pissed and decided to throw the match for it. What the hell.
queen of pain (at about 300 hp) tried to gank me (at full health) while I was farming
she did this multiple times
only far later on did she kill me, with the assistance of her entire team

wow didn't think I'd post again so soon but
okay so here's this huskar on my team
he came up to mid (where I already was)
then promptly tried to walk past every single enemy tower while being autoattacked by zeus
then he died and in teamchat said "gg"

That's nothing. Several months ago I had a huskar on my team that started with no items at all, leveled inner vitality, and nothing else (not even stats), went zero and six before finally getting his first item 18 minutes into the game.
A morbid mask.

The ones smart enough to buy items and use the proper skill build end up winning the game by themself in low/mid level games. Doesn't mean they're good, just have a grasp on the very basics of the game. Saw a Huskar gets shivas guard once. Didn't work out so well.

Except a guy I know who always builds an MKB, even when they have 6+ dissables. When he's losing and they're down to the tier 4 he usually rage sells everything for a dagon or rapier. When I told him he should build a BKB on Huskar he got really pissy and said he wasn't playing seriously and said I was terrible.

also I don't know why I have the aegis I kind of randomly took it by accident
Just lost a game because somehow, undying and riki went 2/3-13.
Like, I get it for Wisp, he's paper thin and not exactly the most offensive thing in the world, but come the fuck on, riki? Undying?
Heck, Dirge ulti'd and instead of sapping strength or soul ripping, he went for melee attacks on a lanaya and a siren... What the fuck.
This HAD to happen right when I was doing a really cool game as sand king with wisp helping and beating tidehunter and siren with a mix of auto attacks, that rotating orb thing from wisp, burrowstrikes and fucking caustic finales.
Wisp did a pretty bad move once though. He TP'd me out of the middle of tide and siren PRECISELY when I started epicenter and when they were both stunned from burrowstrike and low on health.
Oh wow, and now I have a void that traps his own teammates inside his ulti (aka me included) and a bloodseeker that apparently arrived late to the game and didn't even think to get his bloodrage for maybe 7 levels when it could had been PERFECT against a fucking seer.
also I have the aegis I kind of stole it from the carry
Fix'd :eng101:
Also, it's kind of strange but funny how easy it is to misunderstand text. I can't count how many times I've made a harmless comment, and somebody flips through the roof in a rage.

Obligatory: Well fuck you too.
I actually had two people get into a rage fest about who was going to initiate a fight. One of them said, let's go, and the other apparently took it as an insult implying that he was being slow. Ended up with both of them blinking into death prophet ultimate and getting instantly gibbed by several disables.

And once again I had the graceful pleasure of playing with him again. (thankfully) It didn't last much.
I randomed Alchemist, someone else (if i'm not wrong, he was in party with this idiot) randomed Krobe, when I ask him if he wanted to swap he says he won't and he'll repick just so I don't have her. He doesn't, he decides to go alone without items to die.
Someone in our team lost connection and the match got marked with Early abandon, krobe and the other guy decide to leave saying "gg alche nob" without a reason (apart from what happend in the other match).
Atleast it worked in our favor, they got cocky and let me free farm, and the qop of the other team (who said things like "lol easy" "lol so bad") left when she saw it wasn't going to be an easy one.
We lost, but atleast we managed to hold the base for a long time and it was a pretty fun match in general.
I can't even imagine the dissaster it would have been had they not left.
You gotta love when that ogre magi thinks he's pro because he's lucky with the multi-casts.
He spent the last 15 mins of the game calling us noobs because he solo laned and won against us, except he had the luck of pulling multicasts whenever he attacked us. Nobody stopped lycan from farming, so he got farmed and was just too easy for them to kill us. I was pugna, so I was dog meat for them...
But wow, that ogre was either a troll or a serious idiot with luck.
Game before, had a void on the opposite team who chronosphere'd me and 2 of his teammates precisely when I blinked in after using epicenter.
That was a pretty good game, even though I did some pretty bad mistakes for deaths.
