I stole Omniknight's ulti, used it right at the brink of death while almost all my team was inside the enemy's chronosphere and about to die, SK ulti'd in, and their assault was completely terminated later by Bane.

I used to think it was sorta suspicious how good Rubick is, but I figured out that it was because nobody were ever smart enough to counter my Spell Steal by using spells that don't benefit me right after their ults and what not. A smart Pudge player can be difficult to steal from if he just uses Rot a lot, for example.

Almost ANY hero with good utility or stun can be a sick-ass carry with insane farm. Most people tend to object when i catch a stride and seize it. Usually, the same people tend to celebrate when i kill 3 of the other team.
You can do this with anybody and it's the best solution you have if your real carry is reluctant or stupid. whenever i get on a team with ONE carry and me as a slow/stun support with heavy Burst or Attack Damage potential, i tend to spend the first 9 minutes to gauge wether i'll attempt to save the game by doing what other people tend to call a "noob build". Screw the recommended, i need to be ready to not only initiate the ganks, but also finish them alone. The team will usually involve themselves, but with a shit carry and initiator, they'll all be in and heading pool before we've killed them all.
I don't know if this makes sense to you guys, but i'd rather do an unorthodox build, shit on my role and win, than adhere to some fatass idiot's MOBA honor code and lose because he won't do shit.
I don't get why people have to stick to specific builds on specific heroes. I mean. I know there's a general direction (such as slow int, Lifedrain Agi and such) But shouldn't it be better to operate with focus on the teams dynamic rather than just ones own?

I had a Pudge yesterday and I kept trying to steal his hook. Always kept on stealing rot because he would use it all the time.
Same for a Zeus. I wanted to steal his ulti, but ended up stealing his lightning bolt instead, which wasn't too bad to be honest :v:
