I was playing a game with some "PRO PLAYER" as rubick, and some player playing his first game ever as Shadow Fiend, he had no clue what to do and he was pretty much just feeding. Anyway, the pro player goes "omg report this noob fuck this lets all go afk" and all my team-mates pretty much give up and go wait in the spawn till the match was over. I was pretty mad since i really believe we had a chance.
If you know basic dota you will own with shadowfiend. Played him 2nd time today and ended up 22/4
Just got done with a game as weaver, a phantom assassin was laning with me and was constantly stealing all of my last hits. I asked them to please stop, and they called me greedy and said that they were a carry. I told them I was also an item dependent hero, and they asked if i thought I was better then them. I said no, I just didn't want them to keep stealing my last hits. They then retorted that stealing LH's isn't possible, so I just went off and roamed and jungled for the rest of the game.
The true question is why are 2 carries laning with each other.
I offered to switch with someone, nobody took the offer.
I offered to switch with someone, nobody took the offer.
If you don't want to have a bad game, you gotta be aggressive with your teammates. It sounds like a dick thing, but it's true. Nobody wants to switch? Fuck them, go to the lane without a carry and just hang out till someone gets the picture. If you have 4 carries in lane and thus are stuck with it no matter what, you can always do the 5-man pubstomp method of just being an aggressive shit and killing everyone in your lane for gold.
That fucking last guy in public matchmaking. I've got a "A PLAYER DECLINED THE MATCH" 10 times in a row on Europe. Fuck this guy, fuck all of them.
One day I was actually convinced it was the same guy EVERY TIME. It kept happening for about half an hour, then suddenly everyone accepted 100 times in a row.
I don't understand why assholes join the queue just to decline.
In my last game, Slar keept on stealing my kills as PA by stunning enemies at low health. Then when I do the same to him or make some clear kills during his stuns, he cries "RETARD PA KS." He wasn't even a bad Slar too, he was pretty good. He just wanted kills so he (and the rest of my team) kept stealing them from our only carry.
But Slardar is also hardcarry.
You know shit is about to get down when you have a Necrolyte and Tidehunter on your team, but have to buy the courier as a Slardar. This Necrolyte also refused to use his spell to heal me and fought me for last hits.
he didnt buy a courier because hes a carry. this is also the reason he fought you for last hits
Slardar is an anti-carry. With farm he can semi-carry but you dont pick him as a carry.
I carry with slardar. Not that hard since he can rape most of the opponents.
But Slardar is also hardcarry.
Slardar isn't largely item dependent.
Slardar isn't largely item dependent.
Right, but it's a hell of a lot easier to carry with some nice items.
Right, but it's a hell of a lot easier to carry with some nice items.
I like playing slar as a ganker transitioning to a semi-carry/anticarry with a permabash. That's why I build vanguard to tank and AC for the attack speed instead of armlet as a lot of pubbers to. Also, I saw an Alchemist that tried to jungle with his stun. He kept on trying it though but kept stunning himself.
Yeah to me "carrying" implies that you're going to be farming, which Slardar shouldn't be doing because he can destroy people early on
Regardless, I didn't have a lot of kills because Slar kept on purposefully killstealing or creating opportunities that allowed him to kill with ease. Which, even as a semi-carry, he shouldn't necessarily be doing because he has plenty of opportunities to kill without stealing. Then when I finally get kills, he gets mad.
Yeah to me "carrying" implies that you're going to be farming, which Slardar shouldn't be doing because he can destroy people early on
But if the so called carry instead just rapes everyone from minute one, doesn't that makes him an even better carry?
I was playing Ursa, and in a teamfight this enemy Pudge decides to ult me. Our Void uses his ult, as usual. Only I and the enemy Phantom Assassin got caught in the bubble. Our void had no damage so PA was just fine, but the most funny thing was that Pudge was right outside the bubble, still ulting me. When his ult finished, he could still land a few autoattacks due to me being locked by Void. Later, Void uses his ult again when I barely escaped Pudge. I had more speed than him so I was okay... Until Void used his ult on both of us. Toxic cloud, gg
But if the so called carry instead just rapes everyone from minute one, doesn't that makes him an even better carry?
Not if you're outcarried by more than half the agi heroes and a number of strength and int heroes. If you're facing people that are even remotely good, a hardcarry slardar won't go that far.
Had a terrible match. Me and a friend randomly selected (not randomed, spun and then chose) Razor and Anti-Mage. The other three people on our team had 9, 3, and 12 wins, and each of them picked an agi hardcarry several seconds after the round started. We lost so hard.
Ok so I just found someone that ONLY plays antimage, probably 200+ games with only antimage. And then I looked at his past matches and he doesn't even seem that good.

imo playing only one hero for a few weeks isn't a bad idea if you're learning the basics. But if you don't stop to try some other heroes you'll learn nothing.

I understand you want to learn a hero but fine the right time to do it.
Is it Vlads first bad?
It's getting 60 lh by 40 mins bad
I had the most golden match ever. Lycan and SK tower dives like mad at bottom, Lycan gives first blood, SK gives second blood. I am solo top as Sven, and the Bounty Hunter repedeatly suicide rushes me and dies over and over again thinking he will succeed. The Shadow Shaman isn't too bad, but he tries to take me on one on one more than once. And the game ends with me doing one versus four (Lycan, Sand King, Shadow Demon, Bounty Hunter left the second he saw me) Guess who won. Holy shit how can someone be that bad. We had a TERRIBLE Tide Hunter and Zeus on our team, AND THEY SOMEHOW MANAGED TO FEED THEM. I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE HOW. There are probably A LOT more "what the fuck" moments than those I saw, maybe I should watch the replay.

Done Some people amaze me
I was teamed up with a Bloodseeker yesterday who was about as stereotypical as you can get, I was QoP and the moment the game started he went to mid. When I protested he said "no im good against zeus". Seeing as my friend was going to be jungling as Enigma anyway I went to solo bot without thinking much of it, and not 2 minutes into the game the fucking BS starts feeding, on every death calling out random shit like "damn" or "lucky". The rest of our team were completely DESTROYING, but this fucking bloodseeker kept feeding and feeding until their Naix was nigh-unstoppable. After we miserably lost I checked the guy's profile assuming he was new, but no, he has played nearly 200 games since fucking March, won only 49 of them, and has literally only played bloodseeker with 2 zeus games in the middle. Who the fuck does this? Holy shit it made me mad, I hope I never play with this guy again.
