What do you mean I haven't gone through the Cataclysm content? That's what I'm doing now. Cataclysm content is from 70-85, no? That's what I'm doing. I've said so many times that I'm leveling my Warlock and my Warrior, both 70, to 85.
But can we please drop this stupid argument. You're completely right. I'm an utter baby for wanting to be spoonfed. I should be ashamed of myself and quit WoW for good. I don't deserve to play the game because I'm not willing to put the time and effort in.
There we go, has that appeased your fragile ego?
They remade the entire damn world, how you even resubbed without knowing this shit is beyond me
In fact, to clarify this whole shitty confused mess of an argument, I originally wanted to get a Hunter and Rogue power-leveled to 80, as I'm selling my EU account which has my Hunter and Rogue (70 and 62 respectively). I'm only selling my EU account as I find it ridiculous having to pay two subscription fees. So plan is to sell the EU account and then use the money to level up my two characters.
You're not gonna sell the EU account...
I've got a friend who's willing to buy it from me, especially since he can get an instant level 80 thanks to the Scroll of Resurrection. I'm not asking for much. Only about $280, for a level 70 Hunter with full epic gear, a level 63 Rogue, and an instant level 80 character of his choosing. He's willing to pay that much, especially when one level 85 character is going for $699 on the market.

Plus the added bonus of us being good friends, so he knows the deal is safe and he won't be ripped off.

Cataclysm content is 1-60 and 80-85.

You are a bad friend and you friend is a buffoon.
I'm in Kuwait (the Middle-East), and 80KWD is ~$280. I'm not ripping him off at all, 80KWD really isn't that much money. The KWD is just an extremely strong currency.
Here's what 1 level 85 goes for (depending on the gear and demand of the class):
http://www.guy4game.com/world-of-warcraft-us/wow-accounts/account.php?SKU=Z010002060ino 85 Dwarf Assassination Rogue $799
http://www.guy4game.com/world-of-warcraft-us/wow-accounts/account.php?SKU=Z010110091jco 85 Undead Fury Warrior $322
http://www.guy4game.com/world-of-warcraft-us/wow-accounts/account.php?SKU=Z010003091t2y 85 Gnome Fury Warrior $449
http://www.guy4game.com/world-of-warcraft-us/wow-accounts/account.php?SKU=Z010001021aow 85 Gnome Death Knight $189 (I guess the demand for DKs is low, due to the price)
http://www.guy4game.com/world-of-warcraft-us/wow-accounts/account.php?SKU=Z010004091sy3 85 Human Arms Warrior $308
So, as you can see, I'm not pulling figures out of my arse or ripping my friend off. Like I've already stated, the Kuwaiti Dinar is a strong currency. 80KWD isn't a huge asking price (especially considering guys usually ask for ~155KWD (~$551.0327) for just 1 level 85 with good gear.
I'm offering a level 70 Hunter with full epic PvP gear (late, but it's still strong), a level 63 Rogue and a free level 80 character of his choosing which comes with all the upgrades of the SoR (so all flight training, a free epic mount (both land and flying), some gold, all green armour for his level).
I'm really failing to see how I'm ripping him off, especially when I'm going below the usual asking price here. Guys sell their accounts for extortionate amounts, a measly 80KWD isn't as crazy as you think. I guess living here is easier.
[editline]8th September 2012[/editline]
I remember back when TBC came out, I was into Botting (WoW Glider). I'd have 4 accounts simultaneously leveling up. I'd get them all to 60, then sell them for about $150 each. I'd get like a $110 profit from it (for each account, which is pretty damn great), and it would only take roughly 15 days of me doing nothing.
Accounts have always been extremely pricey, back when WoW first came out, before TBC, level 60's were going for huge sums of money. So I guess to guys who have never really looking into purchasing WoW accounts, the figures will seem made up or fake, but I assure you, they aren't.
why would you even buy an account anyway since you can get to 85 in less than a week now.
Seriously? Less than a week? How is that even possible? Getting from 80-81 takes a while, it's not easily done within a week (from 1-85).
Any there will always be people who want to buy accounts, as it can be a good business (buying and selling). People will buy an account, play it for a few months and then sell it on and gain a profit (because they'll have better gear / items / what-have-you). You basically get to play for free and gain money from it.

play the fucking game instead of getting somebody else to do it for you, as far as I can tell you haven't played the 70-85 content so you can't use "it's boring" as an excuse. nor can you use "I don't have time" as an excuse, because you wouldn't buy Skyrim and ask somebody to play it for you because you don't have a couple of hours spare every night t o play it
So, as you can see, I'm not pulling figures out of my arse or ripping my friend off.
Considering you're claiming your trash level 70 with no worthy achievements and terrible outdated gear is worth almost $300 while also saying that a single 85 is worth $700, yeah I'd say you're pulling figures out of your ass. All the characters you linked were in full heroic raid gear, and the Rogue had the legendary daggers. The DK is low price because he's just in Ruthless gear, way to show you have no idea what you're talking about.

This just keeps getting better and better... First you complain about how you'll feel pressured into playing if you resub, then you ask about powerleveling because apparently feeling pressured into playing isn't an issue anymore so you might as well spend more money on the game. Next you start pretending like you know what prices accounts go for while simultaneously showing you have no clue and finally, you're telling us how you used to makes tons of money from botting...
okay, I've just read your bizarre currency conversions, but I still stand by my point that you are ripping your friend off when he could get those characters in 2-3 weeks

you're missing the whole fucking point of a game, if you don't enjoy the largest aspect of the game then you shouldn't be playing it. max level is incredibly boring these days and paying to boost a character up, not knowing how to play that class, and playing from the middle east on US servers is kind of inconsiderate to the other players too

I never said I find 70-85 boring, nor did I say I was going to get my characters power-leveled from 70-85. I said I was going to get a Rogue and Hunter power leveled to 70 to replace the two I'm selling on my EU account. Good job reading, buddy!

I'm paying to boost a character up to a level I've already attained (I can't afford having two subscriptions for my EU and US accounts, so I'm getting rid of my EU one in favour of my US one), so as I'm losing my Hunter and Rogue, I'm going to get a Hunter and Rogue boosted to 70 on my US account. That also sorts out the "not knowing how to play a class", because I know how to play them both.
Playing from the Middle East on US servers is kind of inconsiderate to other players too? Are you retarded? Last time I checked, there aren't any Middle-Eastern servers. Everyone here plays on US as the servers give us the lowest latency. On top of that, I'm only here for the Summer, I head back to Ireland every September. Is it unfair on US players that I'm playing on US servers instead of EU? How so? Such a stupid point to make.

Worth almost $300 dollars, what did you not understand about me saying it's going to be 80KWD. 80 Dinars here is nothing, you can make it in no time with a regular, minimum-wage job. $300 dollars is a fucking lot in America, but that doesn't mean 80KWD is a lot in Kuwait. Good job basing your argument of the fact that 80KWD = $280 and saying that's insanely expensive, when - in Kuwait - 80 Dinars isn't expensive at all.
Go back and read my posts, God damn. When did I say I find level 70-85 fucking boring? Call me out on my post and you get all your facts wrong. Yeah and you'll level 70-85 once and then start crying about how you did it once why should you have to do it again.

I wasn't so much complaining as I was just posting on this thread to liven it up a bit. Other people agreed with me, saying subbing makes you feel forced into playing, as you feel guilty for wasting your own money. Then the power leveling, I've explained that one so many fucking times, but you don't seem to understand. So I'm not going to waste my time explaining it for the fifth time. "Apparently not feeling pressured into playing isn't an issue any more" <-- Some guy said the monthly fee isn't really that much, so I said "I guess you're right, I'll sub again and not let the monthly fee make me feel forced into playing".
And gear boosts the price up of an account by lots, but that doesn't mean level 85's in Green gear don't sell well either.
[editline]8th September 2012[/editline]
Yeah and you'll level 70-85 once and then start crying about how you did it once why should you have to do it again.
Level 70-85 content is quite huge, I'll not cover everything in just one character, so no, for the record, I'll level up a couple of times, but what has it got to do with you? Does it affect you in any way? You've got some 15 year old mentality of "Boo hoo he gets to do something that I can't, that's unfair because I can't do it, so fuck him wah wah". It literally doesn't affect you at all, it's not as if I'm buying 100,000 gold and fucking up AH prices. Jesus.
[editline]8th September 2012[/editline]
Also, since a lot of people seem to be saying it, am I leveling up wrong? I'm doing tons of quests, but in a 6 hour period, I'll get from 70-71, then another 6 hour period I'll get from 71-72. So what is it you guys do to get to 85 in 3 weeks? I'm insanely well rested, since my guy has been sitting in an inn for ages, and I think it bugged my character out as he's been rested for more than 1.5 levels.

What a lovely reply. You posted the most ass-backwards comment saying how it's unfair on you US players for me to play from the Middle-East, without justifying your claim whatsoever. And now you say I should just stop posting. I'm in awe of your logic.
If I want to spend my money on monthly fees for a game I bought for me to just run around in circles on a level 1 character called "ButtNaked" in nothing but a loincloth, what has it got to do with you? If at the end of the day I'm enjoying myself, who cares? You've just got an incredibly assholish attitude about this whole thing:
"WHY PAY FOR SOMEONE TO LEVEL YOU UP, IT'S NOT PART OF THE GAME AND YOU AREN'T ENJOYING IT SO JUST STOP PLAYING" Quite the contrary, actually. Having someone level me up so I can play from where I want to play from is exactly what brings me enjoyment, and you can put your opinion where the sun don't shine because I honestly couldn't care less. I'm paying the same fees as you are, I'm entitled to enjoy the game in my own way. I don't have to follow rules you stupidly set down with no actual relevance to anything.
dude, it's facepunch. what did you expect?

It's not so much the amount of money as it is the thought of "I should be using what I paid for", but, as we covered so long ago, I agreed with someone and said "I guess you're right, it isn't that big a deal, I'll just not let it bother me".
