Ah nah, that wouldn't have applied to me sadly, I only started playing for the first time a couple of months ago due to the girlfriend persuading me otherwise I would have jumped on something like that.
Kinda surprised right now though, I can still play as a Pandaran without MoP, I just can't play as a Monk.
Call Blizzard support line and see if they can't help you out. Just ask them if they can Scroll of Resurrect you. I'm sure if you're polite they'll be happy to oblige.

Just to clear up, [I]I[/I] called Blizzard support after using the 7-day trial (about two weeks ago I called them) and - realizing I screwed myself over by basically stopping myself from being able to use the Scroll of Resurrection, I called up Blizzard support and asked them to SoR me. They didn't really seem bothered by it, they gave my account Cata and a selected character a boost to 80 with minimal questions asked.
At the end of the day, it's worth Tyshi giving it a go, since it's apparent that he's really desperate to play with his room mates. If I were in his shoes, I'd give it a shot. Blizzard support is always helpful.

There's a huge difference between getting an SoR from blizzard because you used a trial without knowing it would make you ineligible , and getting an SoR from blizzard after having an active sub for months... I rated your post dumb because thinking he can contact support and get a SoR when he's been active since "a couple months ago" is just plain insane.

Speaking of procs, the new taste for blood is so dumb. I can go minutes with no procs, or I can get 3-4 one after the other... But when I do, oh man, nothing quite like dropping 200k heroic strike crits on people.

Aff is now a new spriest with little self-heals anymore. Haunt requires a soul shard, does much more damage, increases dot damage (for less time), but no longer heals, making it harmless to dispel. No more instant shadowbolts (nightfall), no more death's embrace debuffs. No more shadowflame for movement debuff (which everyone has these days)
Drain life has been replaced with malefic grasp, a new mind flay that no longer heals but instead causes your dots to do damage every time it ticks. Soul link is lame as fuck now that it cuts your pets health in half (34k at 85), making it crap compared to the defensive cds you can pick up instead.
Aff lost it's keystone siphon life talent almost entirely. It used to be 40% of corruption damage, then a 50% chance to heal 2% of your health, and now it's a glyph that heals for 20% of corruption damage. Since grimoire of sacrifice seems to be the way to go at the moment, you're going to be running around by yourself with an inherent pet ability, like spell lock.
Also, now you have to choose between death coil and howl of terror, which is instant cast for everybody.
Before i forget, warlock pets have a smart auto cast now, i.e. felhunter dispels automatically when you're polymorphed.
Other than that, they added a shitload of defensive cds for locks which we've been in dire need for. But coupled with the soul link and self-healing nerfs they're not as nice.
Destruction is pretty cool though. Chaos bolt always crits and it hits like a truck, and they reworked the resources they use. Same with demo, which now has some quirky 'demonic power' mechanic.
Love it, 3200 in queue.

If you call Blizzard support up, they're pretty fucking decent and are willing to help most of the time. I mean, last summer I bought a month of game time (I played on and off, not much, perhaps about 7 days in total) and also unlocked the 7-day Cataclysm trial for a free 7 days. Then, this year, just before MoP, I did the Cata 7-day trial again. On the 6th day of the trial, I realized I screwed up my chances of getting the SoR (screwed it up by purchasing the month last summer, as well as the free 7-day trial) but I thought "What the heck, I'll call them and see what they can do". The guy on the phone I spoke to literally just said "Yeah okay" when I asked for the SoR, and he was really nice about it.
In the past, I've been hacked and had my account sold and all my characters transferred. I basically log in one day after retrieving my password and find my account completely empty. I called up Blizzard Support, and despite the evidence suggesting I sold my account, they were really nice and did a roll-back on my account.
So yeah, it might seem ludicrous to call Blizz support and ask for SoR, but honestly, it's worth a shot. The guy doesn't lose anything, and he has everything to gain. Blizzard support is pretty decent and easy-going. Just figured I'd throw this out there for him, seeing as it sucks major donkey dick being unable to play with room mates (rewind a few years back when I had a shitty laptop that BSOD'd all the time, preventing me from leveling up with my cousins, bad times!) so there's no reason [I]not[/I]​ to try this.

WoW is installed, just bought a month of game time, hopping in. Gonna level up my Warlock, cause I love him to bits.
Also, could anyone explain heirlooms to me? I looked it up on WoW Wiki, but it didn't really make much sense. As far as I can tell, you go and buy a 30g cloak and other pieces of armour which can be used between characters, and they provide XP bonuses? Plus being in a level 25 guild helps as well, right? That's how you guys can level up insanely fast, I take it?
Character list is broke and now i cant login, this is getting better and better.
Jesus Christ, playing on this shitty laptop (about 4 years old) is frustrating. FPS lag, tiny screen, annoying laptop wireless mouse (so tiny in my hand and it has such low precision). Can't wait to get back home and play on my PC.
Got attacked by some enemy faction dude in Northrend and the FPS lag I got from his thunder spells (he was a shaman) screwed me over big time. All I could do was turn and hold down W, and watch the slideshow of my character getting nuked (he was level 77, I was level 72).
Thoroughly enjoying the leveling experience so far in MoP.
Got to 87 and a half in a day, getting some good gear now bit I'm sad to see my hunter T13 2 set go.
Cobra/steady shots feel so pathetic now.
