Sent you one, it's queued up for being 'validated'
Thanks for the SoR.
when people chat in PUGs and are hospitable i smile inside and out
I've actually been super nice to people in this expansion, im actually making an effort. My groups have pretty much been fantastic, nobody has blamed anyone but themselves for once.
it is soo heart warming to see soo many old guildies back
Im just loving MoP, but seriously, first time I have ever been in a queue in like 6 years and never one this big at any expansion, pretty sick honestly.
On EU Stormscale its the same, Takes 2 hours to get on.
did anyone else find townlong steppes a massive bore to quest in
did anyone else find townlong steppes a massive bore to quest in
Holy shit i've been doing it today, let me tell you about my maximum of 28k blackout kick crits. i literally wanted to gouge my eyes out it was so slow and boring. on a side note, 89.
so I don't really want to level a character again but I don't want to spend the $55 for a faction and realm change to my IRL friends' realm (I had no idea he played WoW when I started this toon) there's simply no alternative to creating a character or spending the dosh is there
Could roll a DK, but that's still 30 levels of painful TBC and Wrath leveling.
that and I never really liked how DK worked, I never really clicked with that class it's not so much that I don't have the money it's just that $55 is a fucking lot for a realm and faction change [editline]30th September 2012[/editline] my other issue is between starting up a sub again and buying MoP I have already spent $55 on this game [editline]30th September 2012[/editline] just going to faction change for now since at least I can run dungeons and shit with bros
Protocol, if this friend of yours is decent, surely you two can compromise? One of you realm changes, the other faction changes. Win win situation for you both. I don't see why it should be you that has to swap realm and faction, whilst he does nothing. [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] Unless of course, he's fine doing his own thing and it's you that wants to join him, rather than him joining you. If that's the case, then I guess the only way around it is to dish out the $55. I'd personally just level up a new toon. Figured out leveling isn't as hard as it used to be, you can easily get to 85 within a week and a half if you commit to it, and then to 90 is just another few days (or a couple weeks for someone like me).
well he has all of his brothers (literal brothers, he's one of 11 siblings) on that server
Ahhh MoP looks like so much fun and I have plenty of money to spend on it but no time! I would probably have less than an hour a day to play, and where's the fun in that? FUCK.
learning is fun
I've been getting the worst lag ever today and I have no idea why, I've tried everything from reinstalling wow, deleting all my addons and its not on my end so fuck knows.
How would you guys rank the WoW expansions now that MoP is out? I haven't played MoP so I'm curious. For me it is TBC > WOTLK > Cata. You guys?
MoP > WotLK > TBC > Cata
Have to say The Wandering Isle is the best starting zone imo. I absolutely loved the lore in The Wandering Isle too. [SP]Made me sad when Master Xi Shang Xin or whatever died. I found it amazing how the island was actually a turtle too. Even made me feel sad when I had to choose a faction since Aysa and Ji Firepaw were both awesome. I also never wanted to leave the island either since it's awesome.[/SP]
I think World of Warcraft hates me. Three heroics in a row and not a single drop for me. I don't have ANY relevant HC gear yet...
Just bought a prepaid credit card to get back into WoW, not accepting it though, any tips?
Just bought a prepaid credit card to get back into WoW, not accepting it though, any tips?
PM me the details and let me try for you... I'm joking. WoW should accept pre-paid cards, they accepted mine years ago. If that doesn't work, hook it up to a Paypal account. Yeah, it sucks cause it'll take a few days for you to activate it, but it's either that or nothing.
the lorewalker quest chain bugged out at the end and i ended up with 3 lorewalker cho npc's showing different stories at the same time :v:
I can't believe that FP would take react so will to MoP. I kind of thought everyone would unanimously hate it like I do.
No one has talked about that video since page 85...
i wish they would crz in and try their luck first hand like a few have tried and failed only to get followed and camped, im not hard to find
I can't believe that FP would take react so will to MoP. I kind of thought everyone would unanimously hate it like I do.
I feel like it brought a lot of good change to the game. I like mostly how the talents aren't just "go down this talent tree if you're playing DPS" anymore, but more like "how do you like to play? pick the one that fits you best." I'm not sure if it's new in MoP but having the shadow orb indicators for the shadow priest is nice. Can't go wrong with more endgame content either, and from what little monk I've played, it's a pretty solid class.
wtf are you smoking dude it's not "how you want to play", it's still picking what's best for dungeons, raids, and pvp and some of these warlock changes are awful
wtf are you smoking dude it's not "how you want to play", it's still picking what's best for dungeons, raids, and pvp and some of these warlock changes are awful
I think he meant more within the talent trees. It gives you more options to choose which spells suit your play-style best. But yeah, JerryK is right, Protocol. Talent trees still have the "This is for PvP, this is for DPS and this is for PvE" setup to them. Strange how my Warlock is great PvE whether I'm Demonology spec'd or Affliction spec'd, and I appear to be deadlier in PvP as Affliction (as my Demon always ends up dead somehow).
I think World of Warcraft hates me. Three heroics in a row and not a single drop for me. I don't have ANY relevant HC gear yet...
try 67
wtf are you smoking dude it's not "how you want to play", it's still picking what's best for dungeons, raids, and pvp and some of these warlock changes are awful
Because I totally didn't say that it was exactly "play how you want." It's just more shifted that way.
I feel like it brought a lot of good change to the game. They aren't changing it from "You have trees, choose" to "You can now fully design your class to your liking", they just removed all the options other than "Pick your talent tree". It used to be where if you wanted to DPS, there was one specific tree to get optimal dps, or whatever. Instead of making it so you can customize your class and mix specs (I rocked a unholy/blood dk back in the day, then they fucking removed spec mixing), they just made it so it's just "Pick your spec". [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Although I'm not dissing the new talent thing. It is /better/ than it was before, but it isn't what I want it to be.
I'm not saying that they got rid of the specs, but with like the priest talent tree, the 4th tier (level 60) has a bit of variability. Angelic Bulwark is good for players like me that don't pay attention to your own health and like managing as little as possible. An automatic "oh fuck" is nice but I had a hard time choosing between Angelic Bulwark and Desperate Prayer because they're both really nice. But the Spectral Guise is obviously a PvP oriented talent. The only thing I don't like about having so little talents is it doesn't always feel like you're consistently progressing upward, but at the same time I like the new system [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] I'm kinda mad at the glyph changes though because sniping mobs with SW: Death to get mana back was one of my favorite things about the class. :I
I can't believe that FP would take react so will to MoP. I kind of thought everyone would unanimously hate it like I do.
I'm curious as to why. A lot of people hated it because kung fu panda ruined pandas forever for them.
