I play on Draenor, it's pretty good for PvE and there are a tonne of people on it.
I would just choose a server type you want then choose one of the med-high pop ones of that type.

Sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but it's that everywhere.
I play on Sargeras Horde Side, the community is pretty good, unfortunately Sargeras became an alliance frat party, alliances outnumbering Horde I think somewhere around 18:1.
We're pretty much the exact opposite as Illidan where Horde outnumbers Alliance by about the same number.
Atleast there's always some world PVP going on, you never get bored, though it makes 85-90 in Pandaria a god damned pain because you get ganked all god damned day by groups of 90s just looking to murder your shit.
In other zones outside of Pandaland, you have Illidan's Horde to even out the numbers with cross realm.

I started a priest, and I can't really decide between Holy and Discipline. What are your opinions on the two?

I just got done healing DM as Disc, that was probably the second-most boring dungeon run I've ever participated in, only topped by the time I was falling asleep while DPSing as a DK.
Maybe it gets to be more enjoyable in the later levels, but I'm just going to go back to my monk.

From what I've heard Disc is one of the most boring specs to level because all you have to do it put a shield on the tank and you are pretty much done.
I suppose I can give Holy a shot, but from what it seems priest has been and always will be my least favorite class.

playing alliance on Draenor is like being black in southern USA
Anyone level 90 in a US Horde side realm? I'd like to do my dailies where there's actually more NPCs than alliances, unfortunately in Sargeras it's impossible to do dailies at all so all I can do is hope I find people to invite me so that I can get phased to another realm to finish my dailies.

I personally love priest, and Disc is my favorite healing spec for the exact same reason you hate it. I'm terrible at managing anything. Pop a shield on the tank and don't worry about it unless some other person draws aggro.

I actually find dps-healing really fun. Disc priests with lolsmite and instant holy fire's and Mistweavers with eminence healing.
Even when I'm healing on my druid (who is now mainly a boomkin), I use wrath to benefit from the 30% healing with Dream of Cenarius and use Moonfire with the dmg buff up.

Does she still play? I believe you can use "set in a cage" or something from your pet interface to place a pet in your inventory to put on the AH.
Outlands is a pretty cool place, but so fucking boring to level and quest in.

A group of ret can clear raids with no tank or healers.
Just make them all get this glyph and stack ontop of each other while spamming light's hammer and you've got yourself a group of 25 dps capable of downing every bosses without dying.
There's a video of it on Youtube somewhere, a group of 22 ret paladins tried to do it and it was piss easy.
