Yeah Realm Status says they're up for some reason, even though the in-game server browser shows em as all down (apart from Oceanic and Brazilian). Strange.

Speaking of which, leveling my lock and it has no professions, any ideas on some easy-ish ones to level? was thinking maybe inscription, dye trading and all that.

Engineering is totally worth leveling just for ability to make a bikes.
And leveling blacksmithing is kinda easy, if you do it with mining.
Yet gold and truesilver is a bitch. I find them with 1:40 ratio at very lucky way.
Levelled Alchemy and Herbalism 0-600 in two days, I found it extremely easy, now I'm levelling Blacksmith on another character that already has 600 mining and I hate it so bad.
In Alchemy all I really needed was 1 herb and maybe the odd 2 herbs to make a single potion for a skill up and each nodes would give me like 2-5.
As Blacksmith I need like 10 god damned bars for a single item for a single skill up.
Been leveling leatherworking for 2 days now, and I'm at 280 or 290, I hope the latter.
The pain burns.
I had my jewelcrafting 3/4 to max within a few hours of mop being released, but i had to stop because i had to go to work. I could probably have gotten the realm first if i had called in sick.
My mining hit max 10 minutes after the realm first was claimed.

Bah fuck it, I went to sleep with it installing and woke up 9 hours later to it at 25%, it must be downloading instead of installing from the disks. I'll just make a jaunt over to my sisters house later and download it on their amazing internet.
It's piss easy to level any proffs if you have enough resources or gold.
New char, no twinks, 0 money - that's what I have right now.

This guy is right and wrong.
I don't get a legendary or mystique feel about a raid I'll never get to see, I just feel locked out of content I pay for because of several reasons, be it population imbalance on my realm or not enough time to devote in the game, etc.
This video is pretty much a guy nostalgia bombing as alot of people do, we all think "Back then it was awesome" "Back then it was hard but satisfying" "Back then this, back then that" but in truth if you actually went to that back then you'd bust your fucking nuts just trying to get anything done if you had a semblance of life outside WoW and it would be extremely boring and unsatisfying and wouldn't have any "epic" feel to it as he keeps saying.
There's just both side of the medals, on one end, making everything TOO MUCH accessible will definitely make it a bit more boring, but then you have making it TOO MUCH difficult and there's a fucking problem when less than a percent of your playerbase is experiencing that content, that's fucking retarded and anyone thinking otherwise is just nostalgia bombing from Vanilla
