Vanilla raiding guild posing infront of Ironforge.
Mist of Pandaria, the same raiding guild posing infront of Ironforge (See how there's no one but a single guy now.)
Or something like that, basically it's to show how it changed and alot of people came and left and how is original guild and friends are long gone.

pvp guild* most likely
Lol, I thought it was comparing graphics back then and now. Heh..
I really want to jump back into this game after i left it when TBC came out, which server are you EU people on ? I really want someone to play with and to become bros for life and stuff...
I woke up this morning with a sudden urge to play WoW, only to realise it's been about 3 years since I last played.
I'm really tempted to go buy a month just to see what's changed.

A lot, and yet very little. It's mostly addons to the core gameplay.
I've been against private servers just as much as the next guy, but that 1x Vanilla WoW Server Emerald Dream sounds intriguing.
I played on it for a bit, if you're in the EU it has no lag at all, I got around 30ms to it.
though it does take a while to level, like it did in vanilla... time to spend the rest of my life leveling up again.

damn I'm from westcoast Canada.. it would probably be a lagfest then
This is how I want my Paladin to be when he's 85.
Damn, the Immolation set's a beast.
"Firelord Artyom" or "Artyom the Light of Dawn". Decisions..
Firelord man. Firelord. I also love the fuck out of that set. it's so final fantasy-esque.
I got 90 the other week, walked around Stormwind for a bit and logged out

sigh
omfg, scorchweaving Arcane is much more bearable than cata's ABABABABABABABABABAB arb ABABABABABABABABABABABAB missiles ABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABAB. Mage level 90 talents are still a pain and I hate that RoP is the only one that interacts properly with Arcane unless you're doing Garalon or something.
Unsure if I should bother levelling my rogue to 90 though. From personal experience they're pretty much a free HK in pvp if you catch them out of stealth (as a warrior), and Assass (which, correct me if i'm wrong, is the best PvE dps single-target?) feels SO SLOW. Mut...... Mut..... Ooh, dispatch proc! time to rupture! oh, back to mut..... mut..... another mut because no proc.... envenom because SnD was already up!
Repeat ad infinitum. Combat is even worse, probably the simplest spec in the game unless you weave in ruptures, but I'm not really at high enough gear levels to have the haste required to do that.

dont ruin a good memory if you left at the launch of tbc, the game is complete shit now
it's nowhere near the original concept of the game
unless you like standing in capital cities waiting for dungeon and pvp queues, kill bosses and collect loot

I'm only level 15 thus far lol
Killed Spirit kings Heroic tonight, That fight is a pain in the ass!!!
Anyway, if you are in a good guild and you like every body in it, WoW can be good fun, if you arent then its just, Log on, GRIND TILL YOUR FINGERS BLEED, then log off!
I mean the next bit of the legendary quest is grind rep and valor points!
We kept having 5m~ wipes on Spiritbender heroic. :c
We kept having 5m~ wipes on Spiritbender heroic. :c
Use hero at the start, pre pot etc etc, then we had 2 healers and a elemental shaman, so usually every 3rd totem the ele shaman and 2 other dps that can self heal go in, so we get 3 dps inside and 2 healers outside
We get plenty of time on the enrage timer and the healers pretty much have full mana and all the ghosts inside are dead!

Wow-ones vanilla servers are pretty buggy. They don't have pathfinding, fully scripted instances etc. Like Pyreguard Emberseer in UBRS spawns without killing all the orcs etc. (No pathfinding allows you to pull bosses from ledges and having them run to you through the air without pulling any trash.
Guys, you need to help me. I've just got out of the 275-300 stretch for Tailoring and Enchanting. Please tell me that 600 is worth it. It better be the best thing ever made.
The selfchants you get are good, and bolts of cloth usually sell for a ton atleast on my realm and you'll have lots of them. The 476(?) epics are really easy to make if you don't have better gear for those slots yet too. It's a pretty solid choice, not the biggest cash cow you can have, but worth the leveling.

I was bored.
So I got back into this game, and what i found was horribel.. Everyone is just plain rude to me when I talk to them, and the game seems to have become a playground for dumb people.
I told you to stay away! :v:
I told you to stay away! :v:
I wish i did, but I will try it out for one month in hope of finding some nice people so i can atleast leave the game again, knowing.. well fuck it.
So what server did you play on in vanilla?
I was and still am on Darksorrow.
[editline]18th December 2012[/editline]
Although what was then one of the very best servers is now pretty ruined. There's like 90% Alliance and the great community, world pvp, and guild rivality is gone.
I used to play on Dragonblight, was quite a good server.. atleast back then.
Made a new character on Stormscale or something, since all my ''old'' friends stopped playing long ago
and i wanted a pvp server for a change.

Also played on Darksorrow in Vanilla, started out as Alliance on my stepfathers account, and when I finally got my own after about a year, I rolled Horde on there after my friends did it.

Why does your dude look like Jollee from KOTOR
Who?
I just used a random appearance.
How does this scroll of resurrection work? I'm thinking about rejoining and I heard that if someone send me on I get upgraded to cataclysm from WotL for free?
