Thinking about blowing some cash on the 442 daggers + some more gear and scumming it up in 80-84 as a twink.
honestly i really don't mind 80+ levelling, especially because Hyjal/Deepholm is super populated. I like it when there are a bunch of people around. Sometimes.

Sometimes.
What realm are you on because I need to get in that CRZ group. Now. Levelled my rogue 80-83 and i can remember the class of every single person I ran across in those zones, saw maybe 8 max if you don't count guildies flying out to help me with something. Two were level 90's, one was a level 85 twink, and the others were hordies i mercilessly ganked because don't you touch my quest mobs. It's super disheartening to see stuff like that, I think I just need to get off Bladefist :(. On the plus side, Jade Forest is always really populated, which is fun. I think we have a large 85 twink presence or something because I run into a lot of them. Also, PLEASE STOP PUTTING PEOPLE FROM PVE SERVERS IN WITH HORDE PREMADES FROM TICH. THANKS.
I'm Horde on Illidan. There are people EVERYWHERE.
Omfg thank you blizzard for introducing Transmog and all the money it makes me. Just bought http://www.wowhead.com/item=71360/spire-of-scarlet-pain for 550g from some dude who didn't want it and flipped it for 12kg in under an hour, on my barely-populated realm. A few days ago I sold a Glorious Breastplate for 7.5k. I swear, people will pay for anything.
Lucky. :< I barely have 4k. How long do you think it'll take to hit 90? A week? My guild's starting to do guild raids and shit and I want in. Also they're making fun of me for my spec. :( Unholy is not a bad spec, dammit.

Even if you master unholy, you'll just be doing the same DPS as someone else playing Frost except you'll just be making your rotation and everything else much more complicated.
I like the complicated rotation, though. And honestly, it's REALLY not that bad. 1. Apply conditions with Outbreak or Unholy Blight 2. Festering Strike every six seconds. 3. Dark Transformation as many times as possible 4. Death Coil when free casts proc or when >40 rune power 5. Scourge Strike with conditions up 6. D&D off cooldown Other than that it's just peppering in different abilities for flavor or during massive burst phases. I'm routinely topping the DPS charts, and I'm enjoying the playstyle. The real problem with it is that Frost damage is front loaded and Unholy takes a little bit to ramp up, although it evens out. Luckily, though, most raids don't have fast trash so it works out.
Had an Aeonaxx spawn and then despawn one second later. Guess I have to go back to camping.

Eh. Maybe. I'd rather be ~5k dps below Frost and have fun than play Frost as a deeps machine but not enjoy it. I'm 83 right now, with the exception of Soul Reaper I've got every ability I'll use so my rotation's pretty much set in stone.
Had an Aeonaxx spawn and then despawn one second later. Guess I have to go back to camping.
Found Aeonaxx earlier, was aaaaaalmost within range to get at him, some dude used that dismounting turtle shell thing from one of the nearby floating rocks. I've never hated a man until today, not with my entire soul.
DPS charts are worthless before 90, you're also missing a few of your abilities and don't have any gear so you're missing important stuff like your hit cap and other important stats.
The only abilities I'm missing is dark simulacrum, which is almost entirely useless in pve, and soul reaper which is my glorious execute. i've got the rotation down, more or less.
The only abilities I'm missing is dark simulacrum, which is almost entirely useless in pve, and soul reaper which is my glorious execute. i've got the rotation down, more or less.
The point he's making is that Hit and Expertise caps will royally fuck you over at cap. They aren't as important whilst levelling, since most mobs you run into will either be your level or maybe one above.
How will they fuck me over? I don't understand....
How will they fuck me over? I don't understand....
It's much more difficult (in terms of allocating stats) to reach the hit and expertise caps once you're at maximum level, and as such you sacrifice secondary stats you can load up on while levelling (crit, haste, mastery).
Unless you play something like balance druid and, to quote my mage friend, "that bullshit fucking spirit conversion makes it easy for you".
I hope they make shamans less shit next patch, enhancement has almost zero survivability for a melee class and the damage is predictable, we also only have one method of silencing.
Finally got around to properly playing after a three month break, and all I have to say is that LFR queues have gotten so fucking retarded. 25 mins is so ridiculous.
Finally got around to properly playing after a three month break, and all I have to say is that LFR queues have gotten so fucking retarded. 25 mins is so ridiculous.
25 minutes seems low if you're DPS. Are you queueing for MSV? That always has the shortest times from what i've seen. Lately i've gotten fed up with the queue times, i just get a guildie to queue as heals with me and hop out if he doesn't want to do it
anyone on Outland EU fancy killing Omen for the Elunes Blessing achieve?

I used to queue with one of my friends who was a healer for that but almost everyone who I know who played it gave up, so I had to deal with the wait.
So, apparently I have two codes for that panda monk pet thing. I already gave one to a mate of mine...would anyone be interested in a trade i suppose? I kinda want tf2 items...
Still have this if anyone is interested.
ding 85 give it to me please [editline]5th February 2013[/editline] decided to learn frost spec too jesus this rotation is like five buttons
I heard frost spec is the worst currently.
of the DK specs frost is the best by far, actually i mean in theory unholy's only about 3k dps behind in optimal conditions, but there's too many variables and stuff. you guys were right. :(
I heard frost spec is the worst currently.
Frost is fine in PvE. A bit simplistic but that's not really a negative for most people. In terms of pvp they're seriously lacking in defensives but they can put out some STUPID pressure with no CDs up.
