They're all in the same spot, there's a big difference between people being spread out on the server and in one spot.
WoW's servers do everything by chunks and if a shitload of players are on one chunk the amount of data the server has to receive and send to clients in that spot is massive. If player's dont move, don't use spells etc the information the server would need to send back and forth is way less.

Sooo. i got my girlfriend to play WoW on a trial account... we got to level 20 really quick with Double XP, she liked the game so she bought it.. and we lost double xp.... what bullshit.

Fuck. I really want my BoAs on the new server I'm playing on, but if I was moving my Druid over, there'd be no point in not faction changing along with the server change, so I'd have to spend 55. I guess I could server change her and just never play her, but that seems like a waste.
