So, I recently downloaded the trial version.
I never really tried WoW because I was never sucked into the hype, but it's a fantastic game. Funny, now that I read about all this warlock stuff I guess it's a good idea that I made a warlock.
The only problem, the monthly cost looks god awful for someone who doesn't have a job. And has to buy all the DLCs.

You don't NEED to buy the DLC. Whilst you level up with normal WoW just save up some money for the DLCs
Unless you want to play Dranei, Goblin, Worgen, Blood Elves and play a death knight class.

Just buy the expansions when you actually need em, so BC at level 60, Wotlk at 70, Cata at 80.
BC comes with wow now when you buy the $20 Vanilla

Back when I was on benefits I was still playing WoW. It filled the void between sending out CV's/Applications and Phonecalls.
I think I'm coming back to this in May. My SW:TOR sub will probably rot until they make end-game content. I got to level 14 in TOR and I heard there's little to no end-game so when they fix that I'll probably try again.
I have a level 84 druid waiting for me, so I'll finally hit the level cap for once!

I did ICC several times with my guild but we never got Lich King. This was back in WOTLK days though.

I only tried ICC once when it was relevent, in a guild-run group by a guild I had not seen before or after 3.3 hit.
We wiped 5 times on Marrowgar and 5 times on the second boss before it fell apart with them saying "Come out tomorrow if you are interested in running again"
