So, I log onto my Death Knight after not playing WoW for a few months (I blame the ME series run I did) I decide to look at what gear is good for a Frost DW. So I go on Askmrrobot and the Season 11 Honor PvP Gear is the best set for non-raid now. Last I left off, I wasted countless time on those Firelands quests for the stupid vendor gear!
Also, being a human and therefore alliance, PvP can seriously kiss my ass.

I have a 2500k @ 4.6GHz on my desktop and a 2140 (2.3 w/ turbo 2.9GHz) in my laptop, runs like shit on both.
2500k @ 4.7 and a 5770 here and it runs like shit on ultra
I got dual 6870s in my desktop and a GTX 460M in my laptop, never goes over 50fps max and averages in the low 30s.
I am aware of the shadows issue, they're set to fair since I can care less about them and when I say lows 30s average that applies to everywhere.
how good is rsham/affloc/spriest in arenas?
also any big weaknesses?

I run a singular 9800GTX+ with the same desktop CPU as you (4.5GHz OC) and i get (much) better framerates than that, everything maxed (shadows too.) on 1280x1024 with 4xAA

I even tried playing around with buffering and vsync since I heard those also mess up framerates, no change.
