I think it's perfect right now. You can play up to lvl 20 for free and that's a good amount of time to decide if the game is for you.
Oh man I just paid for subscription again after 1 year stop and basically nothing changed... Everything iis the same old crap...... There are so many different MMOs out there right now, no point playing wow
i don't understand why people come in here and say things like "i just resubbed and i dont like the game" no one gives a shit if you like it or not
I think it's perfect right now. You can play up to lvl 20 for free and that's a good amount of time to decide if the game is for you.
levelling is my least favorite part of the game and i'm not sure why they decided that'd be the best way to give folks a taste
So before I played this game to level 20 on the trial, then on a few private servers that make you 80 and let you do and get whatever you want like a year ago. I'm pretty sure I didn't experience the fun of the the game at all so I'm gonna do the 20 and see if I wanna play more.. Got some questions So which race and class should I play? Is the game still lively? Is it worth my time, is it fun etc. And how does the payment system even work... Do i gotta pay for the game, every single expansion pack and the monthly fee? If so I might reconsider

okay so you don't like accomplishing things and have the attention span of a rat, mmos dont seem your thing I'm pretty sure I didn't experience the fun of the the game at all so I'm gonna do the 20 and see if I wanna play more.. Got some questions this should be good... So which race and class should I play? what makes you think we can tell you what you're going to like you've given us nothing tangible to work with apart from the fact you don't like putting in any kind of work Is the game still lively? 10 million players you tell me genius Is it worth my time, is it fun etc. again this is completely suggestive to yourself, obviously people in the WORLD OF WARCRAFT thread will answer yes for the latter... And how does the payment system even work... Do i gotta pay for the game, every single expansion pack and the monthly fee? If so I might reconsider yes to play the game you need to buy the game, most sensible people would realize you only really need to buy the game and the expansion you're currently in the level range of - aka you don't need to dump £80 into getting everything at once
DUMB QUESTIONS
Is the game still lively?
It's more lively than most online games I play. Just go to Org on Stormscale EU and tell me that's not lively.
Is it worth my time, is it fun etc.
That's totally your decision, a lot of people would disagree, and a lot would agree. That you will find out via playing.
And how does the payment system even work... Do i gotta pay for the game, every single expansion pack and the monthly fee? If so I might reconsider
The games are really cheap now the Battlechest should start you off if you don't want to buy every thing at once that would get you to level 60 and I'm sure by then you will know if you like the game of not. But imo the game gets 10 times better at end gamehttp://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Of-Warcraft-Battlechest-Mac/dp/B000WDZT9M Just give it a go if you have a bit of money to spare, buying the Battlechest and a months game time would be £16. And more than enough time to decide if you want to get into it or not.
Anyone in EU want to throw a Scroll of Resurrection my way? I'm probably going to subscribe again for the summer so free mount!
Anyone in EU want to throw a Scroll of Resurrection my way? I'm probably going to subscribe again for the summer so free mount!
Sure I will, PM me your email and I'll send it your way.
The fuck is up with gearing a character and there always being one fucking item that won't drop? Pissing helm.
Back in Wrath I did heroic ToC every day to try and get Spectral Kris. About 30 runs and it never dropped. I got so bad I started taking screenshots of people who had it as a coping mechanism.
I had to get 20 kills on Benedictus before I saw those agi shoulders even drop.
I'm looking for someone to do RAF with, i'll just quote what I put on the WoW forums here, i'm EU btw. Throw me a PM if you're interested!
Hey all, I'm currently looking for someone to level with via RAF. I'd say i'm a pretty friendly and humourous chap from Britain, and i'm looking for a new friend! We will be playing on Darkmoon Faire and most toons will be alliance, but i'm fine with making a horde toon or two. I can play from 5/6pm - 12am Realm time on weekdays, and 11am - 5am Realm time on weekends. Yeah, I play quite a lot. I hope you can too. I'm also looking for someone that can speak good English, and age isn't a barrier, either. Here is the deal, i've made it look neat, but not like i'm trying to run a business, if you get me. I shall: Recruit you. Provide gold for bags, mounts, skills, repairs, glyphs and everything else! Provide you with helpful tips if you're new to the game. 5k gold for Epic flying once we've gotten two level 80's or more. A warm loving guild. Give you a good laugh! Provide plenty of entertainment! You shall: Buy the battlechest + expansions. Try to get on a lot. Talk to me on skype when playing (optional but really really prefer this). Have fun!
I have no idea how to pick a server. I am completely new to WoW. I've decided on human alliance warrior. I want a medium populated EU PVP server with a relatively even alliance / horde ratio, where the majority speaks english. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I realise that transfers to other realms cost money, so if possible I want to pick a good realm from the start... EDIT: Is "The Maelstrom" a good choice? http://www.wowpedia.org/Server:The_Maelstrom_Europe
The Maelstrom was launched April 14th 2005 as part of the second generation of European servers. Today it exists as a stable, medium populated realm with a fairly equal distribution between Alliance and Horde, both in terms of population and PvE progress.
Go for a high pop server, at least as listed by WoW as high pop - that's generally a medium size in my experience.

What is with this influx of new players realms on US?
All I know is that when I tried them my xp bar wasn't there.
I'm on Malorne US. Low pop server. I wouldn't mind if there was a large migration of people to this server at all...
DUMB QUESTIONS
You're a fucking asshole, you could easily help the new player but instead you flame him for no apparent reason, real classy.
