Guys, I'm currently playing the trial and I ordered the battle chest, WotLK and cataclysm yesterday (because it was cheaper than digital from blizzard)
Am I right in thinking that when I get them I can just go on battle.net, enter the serial keys into my account and immediately start playing the full game on my existing installation?
I really don't want to have to download the whole game again, and if I install from the disks I'm sure there will be several gb of updates.

I've heard rumors about retail WoW. Rumors that you still have to download the whole game even if you have the CD.

Well you gotta download the patches that came out after retail so it's a fair bit.
If you're playing the trial, you've downloaded everything, you don't have to download or install anything else. Just upgrade your account so that you can access the features of the expansion.

I just got WoW running today. Don't have a character yet.
I'm wondering what server and faction I should go with. Any ones with lots of Facepunch members?
Was in ashenvale questing yesterday as my rouge, when i see 2 nightelf druids so i stealth go up kill one use vanish to get behind other one kill him.
I walk away start questing again then i see them healing up at same spot so i go back kill them again then i leave them alone an return to questing.
About 2 hours later a see a nightelf mage, i go up behind to kill the second i attack i die, so im like wtf i just got 1 hit then when i get back to my body i realise there was a unkown elite behind me that killed me.

just came back after a few little break, should i level my 36 druid to 85 or continue on my warrior? i like warrior but i feel like its just became so much more effort to get similar results to other classes. got to 1800ish before i came off. i also tempted by priest but im not sure how shadow is. really want to play one of the hybrids so i can heal sometimes.

For healing from what Ive found, gearing towards your playstyle > Gearing to what a spreadsheet tells you (for shammies atleast)
e.g haste if you like spamming, mastery if you want to be able to bring people from 0 to 100 in 1, or crit if you spam single target heals
Just got back into WoW and its so different - I quit in the start of Cata because I'd got 85 and full PvP gear and I thought there was no more to do. Now I've made a Worgen Druid who's level 7 and I'm still leveling her. I only play it casually so on the weekends or where I have a few hours here and there.
It feels different, I didn't like Catacalsm and I don't like Pandas. Blizzard had so many options on how to expand WoW; New land would of been a great idea but instead the game developers say "How about we make everything a fuck fest after a Dragon flips his shit!" Now with Pandarian coming out the developers are like "Ok good, everything is all post Dragon fucked, now what bad ass fucker of a race can we add? I know! PANDAS! BECAUSE THE INTERNET LOVES PANDAS!" I mean I would of rather had a Lizard, or a Rhino or a Lion but instead they give us cuddly balls of love whom will be extinct before World of Warcraft goes extinct :( Yet, I know deep down, the Blizzard developers can still do what they want, because its a class game - Truely the best of its kind.
im debating switching server does anyone know a good EU pvp server, im on the maelstrom eu but there's not really many pvp pugs any more. And hardly any guilds other than 2 or 3 gladiator ones.

Again, they chose pandas because the Pandarians are part of the Warcraft lore. I don't see why people think Blizzard chose pandas out of the blue.

oh god, i just watched the female pandaren emote video. the voice is so crap doesn't match any of the animations sounds like it should be used on an older character model.
