I bet the pre-MoP patch will come out the same time as GW2. That release date is a wee to soon for the actual expansion.

im debating switching server, i really want to try some serious pvp out before I move on to gw2. Which server do you guys think would be good to switch too. Ill probably be alliance and im currently on the maelstrom eu.

PVP is the same no matter what server you're on.

there aren't many guilds to join and the ones on this server want you to already have 2600 3v3 team. there is also a lack of people duelling outside. on the horde side there is literally 3ish people outside at peak times. its not just for pvp this server is just desolate compared to tbc and wotlk times. The only thing in trade chat most of the day is someone spamming an RBG boosting service.
So i guess what im really asking is does anyone know a nice server with a busy community and many mid- high level guilds recruiting people who don't already have gladiator or 8/8 HC achievements.
on a side note whatever blizz done last night in maintenance has dropped my fps from unmoving 60 to 17.

Use that to find a pvp server with a high pop and a good ally/horde ratio, then do further research into the available guilds etc.

Emerald Dream has a fairly active pvp community. How it stacks up to other servers I really cant say.

Well, not everyone pvps while leveling. I know I do fuck all pvp before 85, it never seems worth it.

I've got like 100. Not everybody does pvp.
I've never really bothered with PvP either, maybe on call to arms when I'm levelling a character for some quick xp but that's it, never done it at 85

No, you just need to link your wow chars to the raptr account then it looks at your achi points to determine if you are "experienced".
