I'm still trying to get the hang of designing environments but i'm kind of happy with how it came out. It's a far way from being done though.
With the level 90 hunter ability to unleash all your pets, i'll be looking to tame four different turtles and a rat. Does anyone know a tameable rat mob in the game?

Wouldn't even call it alpha to be honest, only looks like some basic NPC DB and basic mapping and stuff. Not sure if mapping is that basic though :v:
(If the decorations are made ingame with commands I can help you out, got experience in allGM servers so I know how to make thingies look nice)

I don't think there are any actual rats. The closest you can get I think would be a porcupine.

None of the decorations are placed with gameobjects. Was all done in the mapping software.

follow this: HC Gurth > 410 wep > Normal Gurth > 397 wep
personally I prefer the resilience weapons for the extra stats that I lose from using gurthalak. it's a great weapon though, I just don't like relying on rng; especially when they nerfed proc chance for paladins.

I'm gonna buy a 403 pvp weapon once I have the conquest points, gurth is just for temporary use.
So, currently the Scroll of Resurrection grants the one being resurrected a free boost on a character to 80, a faction change, a server transfer, a free upgrade up to Cataclysm, and 7 free days.
When the pandaland expansion comes out what do you think the perks it will offer will be? I'm thinking that the above ones will be gone and it will just be the free 7 days that it'll give. Any thoughts/knowledge? At this point I suppose it'd be best to reactivate before that if I'm going to.
I hope the MoP commercials will be parodies of the "Never say no to panda" commercials

there are some generic sets you can find on WoWhead, I think it'll get a boost to level 85 but it will be delayed somewhat imho
Somehow it went better in a duel against a paladin when I used my PvE gear instead of my PvP, and I have better PvP gear..
Probs cause paladins scale a silly amount with crit & mastery(not effected by armor either) so your PvE gear probably made you outgun him

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't care much for the level boost, it's more the free expansion but that's just wishful thinking on my part. It would not make sense for them to do that.

Something that's always been bugging me, I'm an Arcane Mage focused more on PvE, I've used a staff this whole time, but I've been wondering, are daggers that give Intellect and Stamina better for you than a staff? Or is it just sort of personal preference? I've always seen dagger drops that add the same stats and buffs my staff does, just to a lesser extent, and I was always wondering if two of those would equal more stats.
as long as you have an offhand, whichever adds up to make the best stats (dagger + offhand vs staff) is the best to use

unless you're a resto shaman using a staff vs mace/dagger + shield, I think the extra armor from the shield is generally favoured
