Rep grinding for heroic keys.
I might be coming back to WoW after a couple months break.
What is the general opinion (about game balance) for 5.0.4?
Is it just me or did ret pallys get nerfed to shit? (for right now at least) Censure does barely any damage anymore and most of the glyphs suck. Plus I don't see why haste > mastery and crit for 5.0.4...icy-veins and noxxic both recommend that. EJ doesn't really have a good guide for 5.0.4 yet.
Damnit, when I finally can afford MoP nobody will want the gems you can make money on since they will have their gear full socketed.
so is it just me or demonology warlocks have gotten fucking awesome
low lvl pvp is horrible
doesn't matter if i win or not the whole game is completely onesided and balanced around the number of disc priests/healers in general and shockadins per team
a FUCKING HEALER just tanked 4 different players at level 30
I swear that Warlocks are the easiest class to level and enjoy with but that's just imo
is that a sock at the edge of your desk?
Nah its a thingy I clean my glasses with.
Still having issues patching 5.0.4 with the game optimization stuff.

launch from the launcher exe in the wow folder not by the shortcut if you're getting an agent error, if it's stuck at 0% just wait it'll jump to finished after a while
Facepunch guilds/groups/etc never work, when it comes to working together in video games facepuncher's have a severe case of autism.
It was going to be a Cata raiding guild but we started doing ICC content anyways because why not.
We did p. good, cleared ICC if I don't remember wrong (but I only attended 10/12 of the bosses)
Not sure where it got split up but it was good while it lasted.
Granted we weren't only facepunchers (there wasn't enough of us to make a raid group), but the majority of us were until we started recruiting more people.
Eventually it was just a regular casual/serious raiding guild with some facepunchers in it.
It was the only Facepunch guild I've been a part of but apparently there's been tried a few times that didn't go too well, as I understand it.
I'm sure with the right leader and some non facepunchers it would work, but everybody is settled on their own servers and I doubt anybody will want to xfer or roll a new alt
Every FP guild that people tried failed because it's always being started by some random guy who wants to do it on his server so he doesn't have to level a new character and no one else wants to level either and who the fuck is gonna transfer to play with a buncha trash players? The guild on vashj(iirc?) only worked cause it had a few well known wow section posters on the server already and i think a few more well known posters transferred over

totally forgot to finish posting thanks for reminding me zero
If I remember correctly it was a re-roll for everyone.
I transferred a character - but with realm change and faction change it cost £35, most people don't want to pay that
If I remember correctly it was a re-roll for everyone.
You sure? I seriously remember at least 1 person being on that server already...
I got heckled by some heckors. They eyeballin my level 40 that has crap for gold.

stop being poor
Everything feels so odd now, my rotation, my structure, my entire playstyle has been altered.
I have no idea what to do any more, It almost feels like I'm new again.
Looks like I'll be starting from level 1 again to try and get a feel for shamans again.
I'm so lost, help?
Is it worth me getting back into World of Warcraft...? Recently bought Guild Wars 2, but it just doesn't hit the spot. I'm a bit apprehensive about dishing out the monthly fees (as paying monthly always makes me feel obligated to play for the entire duration of the gametime I have remaining, can make me become a recluse) and I am also worried it'll take away my social life like it did when I was 15.
So, should I get back into WoW? I've got a bunch of level 70's waiting and my level 70 Warlock (my main). I'd have to buy the new expansion (Cataclysm) but I'm fine doing that.

Blizzard track your gameplay. If you pay a month but never log in for that month you can send them a ticket and they'll often give you a free 30 days.
They're actually pretty damn friendly.

Just keep practising and just read everything about every skill to give you a better idea of whats changed, thats what I did.

That wouldn't work for me. I'd play on and off, like a couple hours every few days. That wouldn't warrant Blizzard giving me a free month (even though I know they're awesome).
Back when I first started playing I got to level 60 but my account got hacked. Contacted Blizzard support and they helped me straight away. Good guys!
I thought by your post you meant that Blizzard implemented this new mechanism that only takes time off of your month that you've actively played. Made me happy for a second till I realized a month of actual play-time would be like 6 months worth of subscription fees.
I admit it would be neat if it charged you based on accrued playtime, but I'm pretty sure that would be more expensive. I've seen internet cafés charge more for a couple hours than blizzard does for a month.

You're right. I've unlocked the 10-day free trial of Cataclysm, so will play for 10-days then see if that's satisfied my urge. If not, I'll just buy a month.
God, lower level BGs piss me off, shockadins fucking everywhere.
They stun you and calmly denounce and holy shock spam you, it's fucking ridiculous.
it'll be nice when WoW goes free to play. WoW is fun, but the pressure to play to justify the monthly fee always keeps me away. i could totally see myself playing it casually and just leveling up characters. guild wars 2 is like that right now, and it's awesome.
for anyone that didn't realise i'm thongy so d/w i've played a lot of wow
While it would be nice, I doubt the game would get any better from becoming F2P, big chance is that it'll be done wrong.
I'd rather be paying a bit once a month instead of having a bad F2P model in place.
yeah well after seeing the decline in quality over three expansions personally i don't think it'll get much worse really.
I didn't notice any decline in quality over the expansions. But correct me if I'm wrong, because after TBC, I wasn't really into WoW as much as I used to be.
well for me TBC was amazing, Wrath was pretty decent, Cataclysm was a lot worse

Deathwing was pretty damn weak for a plot in my opinion.
