But seriously, NOBODY hates the AWP because they suck at it. How can you suck at a weapon that takes no skill to use?
The AWP sucks because it's a one hit kill no matter where it hits, or how much armor you have on, or how much health you have left. People who use AWP are shit at the game and would more than likely get horribly assraped if they were using anything else.
If you're going to snipe learn to scout like a real man.

Really? It requires reflexes?
You can say the same thing for ANY gun in CS. The only difference is, the other guns don't one hit kill when you hit a full health target in the foot.

Still better than the bland models they use now. Normally style wouldn't be terribly important, but Counter Strike is so unbelievably bland in every way imaginable that there's nothing that keeps you from seeing the game for nothing more than its gameplay and its community. Neither of which are worth bragging about, in my opinion.
In fact I made this illustration over the past few minutes, I think it speaks for itself.

Basically I have lost hope in this thread. The Awp could be fixed by being more expensive, what is the point of sniping without having a drop shot gun. Look at CODMOD2 once you get to a level you get more powerful snipers which allow you to kill easier. WTF why does everyone want iron sights? Seriously go play Cod if your gonna say that. Counter strike started without iron sights and people loved it, I don't want to be able to iron sight and instantly have perfect aim like in Cod. About the servers, there is such a thing as source ringer where you go and play competitive friendly games. You don't always have to go into pubs and try to be a pub star. No customization period, I like Counter Strike for its simplicity and that everyone has a equal advantage and have to make due with what they have. I don't want to be able to jump and take no damage or have a farther knife kill, just go play call of duty. No rank system. Just leave it the way it is and make it all look better, maybe add a new gun or two, and make the awp a bit more pricey. I guess everyone is gonna rate me dumb like they did on all my other posts in this thread. Think what you want but all these changes you want are just taking away from what makes so many love counter strike.

You can't have freeze cam in competitive play due to it reviling enemy teams. This is a stupid option that doesn't even matter.

Once again you've taken the "you don't like a game I like you must suck at it" stance, and like last time missed the point of the post you directed it towards.
I'm pretty sure he meant something more along the lines of cs being a game he can only play for five minutes before getting bored, and I'm with him on that one. It's so repetitive and bland.
